Terrible service and have regard for customers time and don't care if they make the mistake. Scheduled a safety check and wanted to do an oil change also. Was told to come a little earlier as the oil change is first come first serve, no problem. I explained that my registration had expired, and was told the process that I would be given a temporary safety and go to the dmv and then come back with registration. No problem. I asked if I had to make an appointment to come back and get the actual one, no come in anytime. Dropped car off at 10:40am, was told about 1.5 hours, which was expected. So went about doing things. Went back about 12:30 expecting it all to be done, but no still sitting there. Just after 1:00pm I'm told it's ready. I asked where the safety check paper was, in the car I'm told. I get in the car and no paper, I went back and asked for it, after checking, oh sorry the safety check wasn't done! We can refund you or you can wait the guy who does it is on lunch and there are others ahead of you! But I had an appointment! That didn't seem to matter. I went back 45 mins later and had it done. Next question, so I must come back with the new registration, yes come back anytime no appointment needed. Go back the next day, no the guy who does the safety has gone home for the day! Seriously? I was told to come anytime. Well he is here 7-3. Had to go back today and as nice as the guy was being I was fed up past being nice. Will not be coming back here. read more

There were literally no cars in the garage when I arrived. I waited ten minutes in my car while 5 employees were walking around avoiding me. The two cars behind me in life left. I got out of the car to ask if they were open and they said yes. Please wait in the waiting room and someone will help you. I waited another 15 minutes in the waiting room while employees were walking in and out. I could literally see one of the employees fixing their own car in the back lot. Finally, someone helped me and they finished my oil change in less than 10 minutes. No services were provided. They didn't check my tires. They didn't check or refill any fluids. They didn't wipe down anything. When I was given my keys, there was black oil all over my driver's side door of my white car and I had gotten it washed directly before coming to Jiffy Lube. Very unprofessional and unapologetic for not completing any of the services. I'm not entirely sure if they really used the synthetic oil that I paid extra for. read more

I usually go here to do oil change. But this time, one of the employees were driving my car to park outside after oil change, and he hit other car and whole bumper came off from my car. I know that he didn't purposely did it so I was ok if they are going to pay for the repair. However, they haven't contact me for almost a month about repairing my car and they promised me that they will pay. I've been contacting they general manager but no answer. What they did for my car is put back the bumper with "cable band". Was unbelievable. I took it to Nissan to get estimate but even they were freaking out about what Jiffy Lube have done to me. It was my first time having car issues and it's such a stressful situation while you're on the road. I was so hesitant going to unfamiliar places due to this pandemic and I have a high risk family member at home. I only knew this place when my better half took me here over two years ago so I decided to take the chance and obviously no choice my car engine sounded like it was on the verge of conking out. Anyway when I got there at 7am everyone was wearing masks and not too busy at the time. I waited in the car about 2-5 minutes. They were welcoming and came over to ask what happened. Pretty much it was everything. My 2012 Nissan hasn't been serviced in over a year. My concern is having a functional and reliable work. I was thinking with all the problems it might not get fixed for a few days. They told me about 4 hours. I went to work and came back during lunch and it was done. Upon arrival, the initial encounter was good. A technician came promptly to collect my information, however this quickly deteriorated towards the end of my experience. After waiting for over a hour for my vehicle, I saw a technician park my car and drop off the keys off at the front desk. After waiting for about 10 minutes I went to the counter to see if I could pay. As I waited at the counter a employee named Keoni came to the register and told me to sit down as he is the only person that can ring me up. I patiently sat down and waited another 15 minutes for him to return. Another worker, whom I presumed to be the assistant manager came to the counter. I politely asked if I could pay and he was nice enough that he began to ring me up. All of a sudden this same Keoni came back in with his bad attitude and cut him off so the assistant could go on a break?? I could tell that Keoni intentionally did this so that I would be stuck having to wait for him to ring me up. He then went on to do other meaningless things, trying to stall (for example putting blank service forms on clip boards and thumbing through papers) so that I had to wait even longer. After leaving me standing at the register, he went on to talk as slowly as possible about the service provided in attempt to make me wait even longer. I am a pretty easy going guy and for someone to cause me to want take the time to write this report...I hope you get the idea of how poor of an experience I had. Personally, it's not about how you start the service, it's about how you finish and follow through that is going to determine if I as a customer will come back. After this experience, I am doubtful that I will use Jiffy Lube again. read more

I'm happy I decided to give this Jiffy Lube another chance. I tried coming in 2 months ago and had a terrible experience with the people there. It seems they've made some personnel changes there and this time they got it right. I arrived about 10am and even though they were busy I was promptly greeted at my car by Titus and escorted into the waiting room. After 2 minutes he came and checked me in. It took 1 hr. and 15 minutes for an oil change but when Titus took me out to my car it was clean, vacuumed, and fluids topped off. I was pleasantly surprised. Today I went in for a simple brake check. As it turned out it was WAY more serious than that. The master cylinder was bad. The piece that was needed was at a different location. The mechanic, Philip, was so kind and helpful. He ordered the part from the dealership. The only one on the island. We waited for hours for the part to arrive. After several phone calls, Philip tried another avenue. The man is brilliant. He thinks out of the box. He fixed the master cylinder. He didn't even go to lunch until it was finished. The communication was excellent. He made sure I knew what was going on the whole time. I will always go back to him. read more

Today I got my car inspected for a safety check. I was quoted about an hour on the phone before I headed there. When I got there I was quoted 30-45 minutes. It actually only took 25! Drove in, signed a paper, and went to Longs to kill some time. Came back and sat for about 5 minutes before being told everything was done. Tip: remove your safety check sticker yourself beforehand. As seen in the photos, the new safety sticker is smaller than the old one, so the "VOID" sticky residue is clearly seen. It takes a bit of work to remove everything, but it's better than leaving it on your car. Just don't blame me if you get pulled over on the way there! read more

Just went to a near-empty Jiffy Lube for my annual safety check. Was told that I needed an appointment -- BUT if I got an oil change, they could take me right away. So I guess you need to pay for other services, even if it's not needed, in order to get a state-mandated safety inspection. Even when there's no queue. They should just not offer to inspect if they'd rather not bother (or worse - if they're using it to up-sell). read more

I went to this jiffy lube location fora routine oil change. The tech came out and told me my battery had died and they had to jump start it three times. Then he proceeded to tell me that my windows would not roll up or down anymore and my drivers sore was not detecting it was shut and there were other multiple alerts on my car. I proceeded to take my car to a local mechanic who replaced my battery and found that my cars computer was messed up. I had to take it to the dealership where they found that the computer needed to be replaced. The problem that occurred with my computer was a direct issue from how my car was jump started. It is most likely caused from the cables being placed incorrectly. I would NOT recommend this place for anything even my safety check. Note to self NEVER go to jiffy lube for anything. read more

Came here to get a oil change, first off the staff is very nice! They went above and beyond, our cars shifter had popped out of gear the other day and we were unable able to fix it yet, I let the guy know when we first got there he said he would let his guys know. As they were driving the car out the shifter popped out (which happens a lot) they staff went out of there way to go buy the part for our car and put it in for us. I'm going to admit that I'm a girly girl and so I have trouble putting air in my tire the right way. So I come to jiffy lube and asked for assistance and the guys there were immediately friendly and helpful! They told me to drive in the back of their shop to help me put air in my tire and it only took 5 mins or so. I WAS CUSSED OUT BY AN EMPLOYEE!!! His name "Keoni". It started off when I pulled into Jiffy Lube they were certainly busy when Keoni came up to my car I said I was there for a oil change he said two hours was the wait. No biggie so he gave me no instructions but I got out the car went to the podium and he told me 'wait inside' when I saw he was done with another customer I walked up and he asked my mileage I don't know its in the car so he walks with me to the car and scans the barcode in the car we walked back to his computer and I said I'm going to take a walk he said can you wait til I enter your info I was thinking I didn't mean right this second so we go over oil kind but he never verified my name. So he said we will call you, ok do you have my right number he didnt. So I get a call from a girl employee asking for james. I said no james here, she asks do you have a car at jiffy lube I said yes but my name isn't James and the guy who set my car up was pretty short and rude so of course you don't have my correct info. when I get there Keoni is behind the register with Nicole the one who called me. So I said Hello I'm here to pick up my car. trying to ignore him, as I was updating my info I said oh I have a coupon I showed her the coupon on my phone and he interrupts and says you didn't get that service so the coupon isn't going to work. ok well can we try cause I don't see that on that coupon. He says I could be wrong I doubt it and he puts it in and boom $15 off. I was done I said can you let her do her job so I can leave. Here is where it gets crazy. Keoni says why cause I'm short and rude and I said yes he walks into the waiting and slam opens the shop door top of his lungs these F#@king customers I'm done. of course I asked for the manager and Keoni starts calling me a stupid lil B!!ch he's screaming and everyone in the waiting room is staring at me and he goes for like five minutes (felt like an eternity) calling dumb B stupid B!! This place is owned by Team Car Care, LLC. Better Business Bureau shows 415 complaints in the last 3 years, 111 complaints in the last year! Yikes! Had to return to get my power steering fluid filled after specifically asking them to check it. Was told power steering was ok upon paying. Next day upon start up, steering is still jerky, just as it was when i took it in. We check it, it's 1" below low. When i return, Asst. Mgr. Devin tries to tell me i have a leak and it all leaked out! I had to argue and explain, that's impossible and why, driveway completely dry. I am now fuming. Would they pull this if i was a man? Had to mention my husband could come down and explain if necessary. Keoni, the cashier starts making snide remarks behind my back. I turn and tell him, hey, you were the one i asked twice if the power steering fluid had been checked and you told me yes, so stop making snide remarks. He tells me to "f-off and to catch the bus if i dont like it." Asst. Mgr. did nothing and other employees were jumping in to try to stop the verbal abuse by their coworker. He keeps glaring at me, swearing and repeating i should catch the bus. Woah! When i dropped car off the day prior at 4pm Sat., clerk came to car and said, it's going to be at least an hour. Ok, they close at 5 and my car wasnt driven a lot, so its not hot. There are two other cars, one person waiting and approx. 5-6 techs on duty. When my husband drives up at 4:15, Keoni aggressively tells him, "sir just so you know, we close in 45 min." Another car drove up, not sure what they told her, but she left. Left on Sunday extremely upset. First that i need to return to get what i paid for when I specifically asked that they check it to begin with and told it was done. Then the mgr. tries to tell me it was done and I have a leak. Add the repeated verbal abuse. Again, this place is owned by Team Car Care, LLC. As a new customer I learned the importance of car maintenance through an amazing worker named JC. He invited me to have my 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan serviced and my experiences have been good except recent. I came to the shop to work with an inspector on creating my appointment for a safety inspection and was wrongfully denied service from another manager since I was referred by JC. JC left the company due to mistreatment from management so witnessing her hostile attitude from an employee leaving made me realize the workers are very mistreated here. Her act of frustration was disappointing, very unprofessional, and discriminating. As an employee of Spectrum I've witnessed co-workers leave which makes it difficult for the rest of the team however there's no valid reason to turn away customers who need their cars serviced. I hope this review acts as a cry for improvement on better managing and customer handling. read more
