I came here to get my tires rotated. They rotated my tires for $30 and i drove my car home and didn't drive it again for 5 days. I drove it to austin and got a warning on my car saying that my front right tire had 28 PSI. I pull over and fill it up, but the air machine was reading it as 32 PSI. I keep driving to see if maybe after 100 miles it'll recalibrate. I call Jiffy lube about this and the man on the phone stated they can't do anything about that and my tire pressure reader could be going bad. He failed to tell me they never reset the gage that reads your tire pressure and i didn't find out until i went to the discount tire down the street to fix it. I drive back over to the jiffy lube and complain and very politely said, "maybe you should let people know that you can't reset it" and the guy i spoke to did not apologize and just kept saying they don't have the scanner to reset it . . . . which is exactly why i said you should tell people that. read more

I took my work truck here since they are close and take fleet vehicles. Their crews are not very experienced. Since my visit I noticed their sign outside says "Always hiring". That might be why they didn't seem experienced during my first and final visit. The staff is nice enough. They take longer than the competition, but that may be due to the turnover in employees. After I got home I noticed the smell of burning oil and decided to check under the hood. They had spilled oil everywhere! This isn't good because oil can seep into the wiring and cause problems with the insulation. I ended up taking my truck to the Ford dealership to have the engine bay thoroughly cleaned. They had to replace some oil-soaked shield. Luckily it was all covered under the fleet program. If it wasn't for the oil spill, I might try them again. But this is a fleet truck and I can't afford the downtime in case another mistake is made. I hope they improve. read more

I had taken my car here on a Saturday morning to drop it off to have work done on the rear brakes. About an hour later the manager of the business called me asking what I thought the problem was, when I told him he gave me the price and said they'd have it ready in a couple of hours. Afew hours later they called for my car to be picked up. I needed to pick it up a few hours from when it was ready that was no problem for them. All of the employees were very friendly, the price was the best I found in Huntsville. My brakes are perfect no more grinding or slow stopping. I'm very satisfied they also gave me a 2 year warranty. read more

I've been here plenty of times in the last 10+ years, most recent being this Monday morning in March at about 10 am (which the internet predicted this to be one of their busiest times of the day). I needed an oil change and an inspection with a little worry that things would be added on during the inspection... some of the reviews here seem to imply that's all they do! They had 3 bays running and one open and so they were able to pull me right in. Within 20 minutes they were done with it all and didn't need to add anything extra even though my car was overdue on both. Plus my car floor boards in the front were vacuumed and my windows cleaned which was great just now made the rest of my car look even dirtier than usual oh well!! Went in for an oil change. Of course they showed me my dirty air filters and replaced them (Now the entire center air vents don't even blow). When I was driving to work in the morning after a piece of my under carriage dragged off my car and eventually fell off having me extremely worried. There is a discount tire closer and apparently much more reliable than this place! Going back today to make them fix this! Edit: They did fix this it was a dropped skid plate, and fixed the vents free of charge (as they should). 2 stars for at least them fixing the issue they made. If I was driving much fast that could have hurt someone. read more

Idk why the Yelp reviews are critical on this place. I've been going to them for probably 3-5 years and they've always treated me with honesty and respect. Sure sometimes it is a little expensive because the labor itself was long. But other times I go in there and they hardly charge me at all. It certainly beats going to the dealership where their objective is to pretty much rip you off. Plus Jiffy Lube always gives you an assessment BEFORE they charge you, which I appreciate. Gives me the opportunity to analyze if I trust it, which 9/10 times I do. The most recent time I used a coupon that didn't work and he gave me a discount anyway. My daughter was out of town and had a serpentine belt replaced here after her trucks belt broke. I specifically asked Jiffy Lube to make sure there wasn't any part of the old belt wrapped around the power steering pulley and they said it was all clear. By the time she drove the truck home the power steering pump burned up and the crank shaft seal also burned up. I have pictures and it was very obvious the old belt was wrapped around the pump pulley (not hidden behind anything). $1400 repair bill due to Jiffy Lube negligence. read more

I've been here twice for an oil change, both costing $35. Some people seem to think that's a pretty steep price for an oil change, however, I'm a person of convenience and I don't mind paying a little extra for a little more. Their signature service oil change includes oil change, inspection of various widgets and doodads, tire pressure check, refilling other vital fluids, wipe down of exterior windows, and vacuuming of floors. The workers here are extremely nice. To the max! The first time I came here, I was one of two customer. I was in and out within 20 minutes. The second time I came here, I was one of maybe 10 customers. I was in and out within an hour. Not bad, not bad. The problem with being so quick and efficient is that your windshields aren't as squeaky clean and your floors aren't as spotless. I arrived and although the bays were full, someone out came out immediately to ask what we needed. I needed a State Inspection and it was attended to within a few minutes. In less than 10 minutes the inspection was complete and on our way. I looked at previous reviews and I can tell you I have not had better service at any quick lube type store. I came here reluctantly for my State Inspection . . . I was told my cars emergency parking brake was not functional and they would fix it for $70. . . However the functionality of my parking brake is in perfect working condition and when I went to another place for a second opinion they informed me that I was correct not to pay them to fix the brake and they did my inspection and passed. I just came in for a vehicle inspection, but the price of oil changes here are absolutely absurd. $92 for a synthetic oil change? That's around a 200% markup. As far as the inspection, there was a pretty substantial line, so I politely asked if I could show my insurance card now (it's on my phone with the Geico app) so I could walk over to get something to eat instead of waiting in their musty and grimy office with the temperature set to a humid 84°. Apparently that was too much to ask because I was very abruptly told by Larry, the incredibly sweaty man with chewing tobacco spit on his face, to take a seat and the vehicle inspector would get to me when he has time. As I sit here waiting several people came and went while I'm still waiting. Yep, people who showed up AFTER me are getting inspections done BEFORE me. When I asked what the deal was, I was told they couldn't find my insurance card in the car so they skipped over me. So much better than walking in to ask where it was, especially given I already told them where my card was. It's been over an hour now, and they just pulled my car in. Luckily for the two people who pulled in after, it only took them 20 min or so. The jiffy lube name isn't that great to begin with, but this particular location is an absolute disgustful disgrace. read more

Horrible customer service. They broke the cord and latch to open and close my hood. They are very disrespectful and like to argue with customers and will blame what they did wrong on you. They give out wrong recommendations and admit that they are not sure what is wrong just so they can take your money. The store manager is very rude and can not control his employees. I have had multiple inspections here. I have never had a major problem, but there are always little things that irritate me. I think I am done taking my vehicles here. First off, they always put inspections off (low profit, I guess), so never trust the wait time they give you. It will inevitably be longer. Sometimes a lot longer. I have also had the problem mentioned in another review where I left my truck and came back only to be put at the back of the line. The techs seem to spend a lot of time smoking even when they are busy. There have been times when people are lined up at the bays and there are no techs in the building. On top of that, it seems that they all work on one vehicle at a time, no matter how many are there. They seem to fiddle around instead of getting the job done. I change my own oil, but I did witness them ruin someone's truck once while I waited. They changed the oil and the truck began smoking when restarted. I heard the manager tell the customer to let it run to burn off the excess oil. Not long after that, the engine blew. Not sure I would trust my vehicle to them after that. read more

Yesterday i went for an oil changed and i really have to write this, last time when i have oil changed, they give me a receipt which state that they will give $10 off oil change, when i show them the receipt, at first he says he will take cure of that , i even ask them while i was paying and he says he did, later i noticed he didn't took out $10 off. They don't even change the sticker where they write Next "OIL CHANGE MILEAGE" I still have same sticker of last time. They guy before told me my total will be around 75, so i say go for it when i got the bill i got it for $90. I ask him why is it $90 ? then he says its labor.. If you gonna charge for labor and all why the heck you told me its $75? why don't you tell me its $90? what it i have just $75 at my pocket and no cards? My inspection was also expired, while i was changing my oil i ask for inspection too, he mentioned it will take extra 2 hours waiting for inspection, since i have to run for class i told him i will be back after class, but when i went back after class, he acts so different, we still have 2 hours waiting , so why dont you come some other day.....dude, My inspection is already expired, dont you get it? Later i figured out he says me so because inspection was just $14.50, and i bet he wont make a money for it, so he wants me to so some where else... Do not take your vehicle here for state inspection. I guarantee you they will tell you your wiper blades need replacing before they can pass your inspection. And of course they will be glad to sell your a pair for 5 times what you would pay for them at he auto parts store. Today before I took my vehicle there I checked the wiper blades, no cracks, no rips or tears. But guess what. they told me my wiper blades were torn and showed me the tear that was NOT there before I got there. My co-workers have told me they had the same experience. read more

I love this place; while, i like everyone else, hates having to go and get my car serviced this is my new spot. Despite all of the negative feedback from ages ago on here i decided to give them a try and i was really pleased. The customer service was wonderful, knowledgable, attentive, and efficient. The price of my oil change did sting a little bit but I typically do all my own maintenance on my vehicle so its generally much cheaper, but to not have to get dirty and put forth the effort while sitting inside was wonderful. None-the-less I left with a cleaner better running car than i came with which was a huge weight off of my shoulders. I highly recommend jiffy lube. read more

This is the most unprofessional, ridiculous place I have ever been to. I pull up and tell them that I need my alternator and battery checked. A man tells me oh no we don't do that here. So I say ok well I might as well get an oil change. When the other worker goes to pull my car in it doesn't start and he says we can get you a battery. So I say ok... Awesome. Well stupid me, I had to pick this time to be naive, I leave for work and my bad is there and the worker calls me and says ok the battery and labor is 200$. Me being frustrated just worrying about my car starting I say ok. Then he proceeds to tell me "oh after I got the battery in I can see the numbers and you need a new alternator, which is going to cast 600$"... I'm sorry. RIDICULOUS. Turns out my alternator was perfectly fine. So this man just tried to take advantage of a young college student with no extra money. Pathetic!
