The attendant was quite rude and rather snotty. The things on my receipt that were marked complete or OK, were not checked or even looked at. I watched the whole time the service was performed. I was a mechanic for almost 40 years. I know what I saw and what I know what was and wasn't checked. I will never be back to your shop! I came in for a standard oil change and was finished in about 45 minutes. I've been to this location several times and I've never been anything but happy with the results! The waiting room is standard (not super comfy, but definitely reasonable, and there's a bathroom). There's free water, coffee, and wifi available. The staff was efficient and respectful to me as well as the several other customers that were waiting. An older man sitting next to me was in for an oil change, but the staff explained that it would be best to replace his air filters as well. They showed him the old versus new filter, plus answered his questions patiently, as English was not his first language. There are coupons consistently available on the website to help cut costs! I always use Jiffy Lube at 78th and State Ave., Kansas City, KS Wyandotte County. The manager/team leader Joe is awesome, along with his amazing team! Had an oil change a few weeks ago, and then my check engine light came on. Went to Jiffy Lube, Joe checked everything out did a diagnostic, found it with the shift solenoid. I had a new transmission put in about one year to the exact date a Chevy dealer almost to the exact one year anniversary. Luckily it was under warranty and is currently at the dealer. I've gotten my oil changed here about 3-4 times in a row and I've never had an issue! Customer service is always great and they get you in and out quick. I've gotten to speak with Julie and she's been so so wonderful to me every time I've been!! I trust her and her skills with my car. I definitely will be back! read more

Great service, very knowledgable and fast. I had never been to a Jiffy Lube before, so I didn't know what to expect. I pulled up to one of the bays and there was no one in line at midday on a Monday. A manager came over and asked me what I needed and gave me the lowdown on how it works. Through the oil change process, they showed me that both air filters needed replacing. If anything I was happy for the reminder, since I had been putting that off. They changed the oil and both air filters in under an hour, I was very pleased with the time. The cost was fair after some coupons, but what made the experience was that they cleaned the dirty windows and vacuumed the floor too. Cody was very helpful to do a complete rundown of the work completed and the status of other parts of the vehicle. Very professional and they only suggested work that needed to be done. While you may pay slightly more here than some other places, the great service, fast work time, extra car cleaning and coupons made it well worth the price. Highly recommended! read more

Place is really professional. I had my oil changed here a lot because my housing complex doesnt allow us to do mechanical work at our houses. I had a minor oil leak after the change. Most likely from hitting a bump or something. The manager said a cap was missing. They fixed it free and topped me off. Awesome crew. read more

I had one car in front of me and it took over an hour for these guys to get my car done. Car after car driving off behind me because these guys working in here are too busy doing nothing. They're not taking much pride in taking care of cars or customers here. It's insane how slow the service is here. If you want to get in and out, find another place to go. read more

Place was extremely hot in wait are and full of ants. Seriously I bet I had 10 I killed crawling on me. Two times I heard the staff say the F word as kids were in the waiting room. Really a bad experience and I would rate negative stars if I could. Never coming back. read more

they serviced and released two customers that came in ten minutes after me. and started on two more when I complained. I saw them refill the oil and then asked what oil to put in. they charged the four people that left before me $54.00 and me $90.00. the manager reeked of alcohol. they said they vacuumed my truck but only did passenger side but not the driver side they said they cleaned the windows but only cleaned the middle of the windows not the whole window. the only reason I gave them one star is zero stars are not available! read more

I went in just wanting an oil change and I heard that they always tried haggling me for more expensive oil or something else that may help your car. But I went in and said "I just want an oil change" and he says "you probably want our cheapest deal right? The $27 one? Nothing else" and I go YEAH. So they kind of get it, your not there prepared to spend more money on something you didnt know you needed, you came there for one thing and if you have money later, you'll do that other thing you need. read more

Not impressed at all... I have a 94 jeep... had a small oil leak at the valve cover gasket... no biggie... oil changed now oil pain drain plug is leaking. .. and oil filter leaking... they were getting upset bc I was watching them service my jeep. ... then I herd one tech say oh yea let's hope that works referring to the small oil filter that doesn't go on my jeep... and they took air out of my tires. ... I had my tires filled to specs on tires due to me towing things .... didn't ask me what I wanted... then tried to sell me an air filter for an outrageous amount... staff was rude. .. left my headlights on... went I took jeep back to talk about oil leaks they blamed it on my car... I know my car well and take very good care of it.... never again... I work as a manager in town... I know alot of people and I'll be sure to spread the word of what happened... just typing this out is pissing me off... I'm already 2 quarts low of oil and I just got it changed sat it's now Monday morning... no one they r on dateline every few years read more

I wish u could read my lips. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT allow Jiffy Lube on 1010 N 78th Street KCK to touch your vehicle. Took my vehicle in for a oil change and let me just say, we are pretty sure the guy pocketed the $$. I've had no problems out my car, 2 days later started hearing weird noises from car, called advised manager Byron of issue & he states looks like we only had fluids topped off, trust me we didn't pay over $50 just to have fluids topped off, according from the looks of it, ALLLL my fluids look mighty low but they were topped off (as he claims) then he says well looks like filter was only changed because for your vehicle they order my filter, hmmm ok. Received message on my phone from un-professional person, failed to leave their name,claim info etc but was sure to say that the claim was denied because looks like we have never visited their establishment, let's be a little more professional & ATLEAST hear my side of what has occurred instead of throwing the whole issue in the trash without further investigation.The world does still have honest people out here, AND I AM ONE OF THEM. read more

I've always gone to this location but recently moved closer to the Shawnee location. Went to the Shawnee location and sat for 5 minutes before anyone came to help me. Then a young man said that they wouldn't be able to help me and they were too busy with other cars. I now go out of my way to come to the 78th street location because of the great service! I was in there on Saturday they did a great job with my Oil change and everything. Christina was amazing!!! Her customer service skills were on point! Now the reason why I am given it one star is because of one gentleman for lack of better words was beyond unprofessional and downright rude. Justin was cursing wow at the desk and with making rude remarks about Christina. He called her out of her name which starts with a B and I will not repeat while talking to another customer and made the remark that she will not be here long because I will make sure of it and was talking all kinds of stuff about her in front of other customers as well as calling her names. That is very unprofessional and rude and he called himself a manager you don't do that to other employees no matter what your title is!!! She help me as well as others and I watched her the entire time that I was there which was about an hour and she was amazing very personable caring and was going over the top for me another customers. I was going to call the corporate number but my daughter told me to post it on here that way corporate would see it and it would not just go to the store where It could just be brushed under the rug. My entire family including myself use Jiffy Lube but I have spread the word that unless she is there they should not stop to get the oil changed because if he is there I will not stop that was downright rude and unprofessional like I said before and I think that he should be in trouble for what he was doing you don't talk like that in front of customers let alone call a female out of her name when she is busting her bottom to do her job. I am hoping that by posting this on here something will be done to this gentleman for what he has done I did not let her know what I had overheard but I don't think it's right neither! read more
