Wow. We bought a Groupon to use and when I presented it, I learned that the Groupon is location specific and I had a Groupon for a different location. I really appreciated the manager's patience as I bought another Groupon while he waited as well as guided me how to find the right location. He was so very helpful. We needed our tires rotated and he pointed out the military discount after seeing my husband's Navy hat. He also made us aware of a loose hinge on our exhaust. Went to this JL 2 days ago. Not driving due to COVID has thrown off my auto maintenance because I've been working so much from home and I was far overdue for an oil change. I printed a coupon from the internet and drove over because the sign said that I can wait in my car (which was fine by me, not because of COVID but because it led me to believe this would be fast). When I pulled up to the bay, I was approached by the attendant and told him I needed an oil change and tried to hand him the coupon. He said they weren't sure if they were "accepting coupons." I don't know if this was a COVID thing or what, but I printed the coupon off their web site and it even pre-printed the JL address on the coupon (it even said it was good until Friday). Regardless, they took it. And I had to pull into the bay for the oil change. As I'm pulling in, the guy is standing in front of my SUV guiding me in properly. Out of NO WHERE as I'm pulling in, a female WALKS RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY CAR between ME and the guy guiding me, causing me to stamp on the brakes. What the hell, lady? So despite going to this JL multiple times in the past, they have no record of my car or service or anything so they're treating me like a new customer. Now, JL does a full check of your vehicle (allegedly). They check your blinkers, brake lights, reverse lights, tire pressure, etc. So I have to click and help the guy with all this stuff, turning on all my lights, making sure they work etc. The girl with the death wish comes over and tells me she needs my CC to pay for my oil change. With 15% off it was over $80. I don't get anything fancy, but she dismissed this as my needing more oil because of a bigger engine. (Sigh) fine. I chalked this up as "paying for convenience." I sign the CC receipt and Death Woman walks off and I'm all like, "Don't you say goodbye?" Then again she tried to throw herself in front of my car earlier so her life obviously sucks. She also looked pregnant so hanging around exhaust and chemicals.... okay.... so she's not smart. Fast forward to TODAY. I'm driving down the road on the way to a work appointment and a guy pulls up next to me and flags me down. He shouts, "your back tire is really messed up." I look at my dash and I don't have a "low pressure" warning. I said thank you and went to my appointment. When I get out of the car, I look at the tire. It looks like someone attacked it with a cheese grater (photo). How in the ever-loving name of Christ did Jiffy Lube MISS that? I thought they were supposed to check out your car with their inspection! Well here I am. 45 miles away from home and I have to make an emergency stop at a local Tire Kingdom for new tires. Had I know about this on MONDAY I could have had this taken care of this closer to home. Now I'm stuck in a waiting room trying to conduct business through my Government Mandated COVID Mask and I sound like a ball-gagged Darth Vader on the phone. We did have an easy time getting the oil changed , plus they checked air filter which did not need replacing . I like that someone shows it to you so that you can physically see what it looks like at the time of the oil change visit . Abby the customer service attendant was so very pleasant and helpful. One thing my family has enjoyed is the excellent customer service at this location. I had a discount that they gladly allowed me to use hassle free . Great place for a quick oil change! I arrived at 0900 on a Sunday, was escorted to the spacious waiting area at 0901, and paid for my services at 0945. I was 3rd in line, so I waited (in my eyes) the appropriate time. I usually drive to the dealership to get my oil changed and other services done, which is about an hour away, because I have a lease vehicle. I paid about $10 more at Jiffy Lube than the dealership but I would have paid that (if not more) in gas getting there and back home. I was also pleased to see they vacuumed it! The employees were courteous and knowledgeable. They didn't try to talk me or anyone else there into services they didn't need. Little coffee maker for customer use but let's face it; by the time you finish half your cup, your vehicle is finished! Fantastic place! Highly recommend! read more

This place is a fucking joke. We dropped off a car with an estimate of 1-2 hours for the labor. Here we are 4 hours later and they STILL haven't finished working on the car. I honestly don't even think the mechanic knows wtf he's doing and now that the car is taken apart, we have no choice but to wait. The timing it takes isn't the issue ... had they been honest we could've came back on a day when we had more time but today just so happens to be my birthday and now our plans are ruined because they couldn't be honest about how long the job would take. My daughter took her car for a simple oil change! The technician stated the dipstick was broken and bolts were missing from the oil pan and that they couldn't change the oil. First off the dipstick was fine the last time I checked the oil and if it was broken they most likely did it. Either it broke due to it being brittle, which happens or they intentionally broke it! Either way that has no bearing unless they were hoping she would buy an overpriced one from them! After consulting with me she asked for her key back and left! She took it to a trusted place I use and they confirmed the dipstick was broken, but no bolts were missing from the oil pan. So basically, Jiffy Lube lied and tried to get more money out of my daughter because she's young and naïve. I've got news for them. They're going to get investigated by the Better Business Bureau or Florida consumer affairs or both for unfair business practices. Word of warning stay away from shysters like them, and if management is reading this, shame on you trying to take advantage of a young, naïve woman! read more

The gentleman at the front - I believe his name was Darryl - was very informative and extremely friendly made me feel welcomed the min I stepped in and took time to explain all the services I was paying for. They came back and told me that they had to do a 0w20 because this is what the manufacturer requires. I was SHOCKED when I got a bill for $95 dollars for an oil change. I took my car into the Lutz Jiffy Lube after not wanting to wait on dealership long wait times due to COVID. Huge mistake! Although they were prompt and polite, the customer service rep told me there was no oil in my motor and recommended some type of full oil flush? I've had no oil indicators within vehicle signaling low oil and immediately knew this could not be the case. I asked the rep to show me the oil stick. We walked out to my car, cleaned the stick, put it back in and pulled for level check. Not only was their oil on the stick, but the oil was above the "low" level line on the stick and within normal level. The rep bold face lied to me and was attempting to sell services that were not warranted. I will never do business with this establishment again ! read more

A friend brought their Cadillac 2 weeks earlier and was charged 89.99 for a synthetic oil change. I was told mine "would be an extra $30.00 because my car holds a quart a half of oil more than most cars so my total $130.00". I was a fool and paid it. Found out after this was complete bs and an excuse to take advantage of my ignorance. I found out from a trusted mechanic that all "standard oil changes with Jiffy Lube are 5 quarts of oil. No car in this day and age holds 5 quarts, always over 6 quarts." DON'T FALL FOR THIS TRICK! I came across this business and I'll just say this. I will not goto this place to get my oil changed after a year ago my car leaked oil everywhere because they punched a hole in the filter after changing it. I had it fixed at another shop and haven't went back to jiffy lube since. When you're in the oil changing business you'd better know how to install an oil filter. I'm lucky this didn't trash my car. As a response, the tire choice on 54 has video of the leak. It was their opinion that the tool you used crumpled the filter. I chose Jiffy Lube for two factors: speed and location. I was sorely disappointed. I usually use the dealership (my car is still under warrantee) but with company coming into town I needed something FAST. I called ahead and they led me to believe I would be in and out in about half an hour. Even gave me a discount over the phone. I get there, and there is a wait--the 30 minutes is only after I am put into the system when my name is called, and this discount is pretty close to what I get at the dealership. Not faster, not cheaper...and the real death knell? They tried to sell me a TON of things I didn't need. Them: "Look at how dirty this air filter is, it really needs to be changed." Me: "It's not due for another three months, and that's not all that dirty. NOPE." Times four. Over and over they pressure me to add on more things. Over and over I insist that no, thank you, I will follow my owners' manual timeline thanks. And then? Driving home I discover they didn't even properly re-latch the glove compartment after their air filter sales pitch, and I have to go back in. They are anything but fast and reliable. I went here in early June with my van for a basic oil change. I drove the 6 miles back to my home and the low oil light was on. There was a streaky stream of oil on my driveway. To Jiffy Lubes credit they sent a tech to my home to fix the problem. The oil filter was loose. Problem was resolved. The tech explained that they were giving me a complimentary oil change. My wife went today to get the free oil change and she was told that the best they could do was half off. This is a disgusting way to run a business and I strongly suggest that you stay away from this location and all other Jiffy Lubes. read more

For the past couple of years I have made my husband come with me to get my oil changed because I am constantly being told I need needs I really don't. We moved to Florida a little over a week ago and I desperately needed my oil changed. My husband and I chose Jiffy lube based on location. As soon as we drive up we were greeted and asked what was needed. We sat in the lounge and before long we were asked for the details of the car etc. I was beyond surprised when I looked out the window and saw them vacuuming my car and cleaning the windows. We were given two recommendations in addition to the oil change but declined them. We we're not pushed at all to do them. The staff wouldn't have been nicer.
