Seems like no one wants to work at this location and a customer is an inconvenience. Disgruntled employees will tell you how unhappy they are, literally! I called on Sun 9/18/22 for a quote over the phone regarding an AC recharge and the person on the phone asked me to hold. I waited for over 15 minutes and nothing. Since I live close by I decided to stop by and just get it done. When I arrive there at 3pm I was attended by Justin Kollinger & Ryan Yering, which both a look on their face like I was inconvenience. Justin gave me the quote and told me it was too late to do the recharge and to come back another day. I said fine. Next day I arrive Monday 9/19/22 and was greeted by Chris, no complaints on the service nor the guy. Very helpful and friendly. Proceeded to take my information and perform the job. In the middle of the job Chris calls me over and explains to me there is an issue with the AC and that it could be the condenser. No problem, we abort the job and I go on my way to replace the condenser myself (I'm a mechanic but not have the equipment to recharge AC). I return on Sunday 9/25/22 with the replaced Condenser, mind you early this time as to not inconvenience anyone. Ryan Yering comes up to me, not a single word with an expression of "what do you want?" I proceed to tell him the situation. Justin Kollinger asks me what they quoted me on the previous Monday and that's it. They do the recharge, I pay, I drive up the street and the AC starts blowing HOT! I return and ask about any issues, leaks, and what the pressures are saying and that is were I cant get a straight answer. I get the well the gauges are reading weird, I'm not sure what it could be..etc.. Ryan begins complaining that he is not getting paid for diagnosing and he makes $30 elsewhere and he is only making $15 there at Jiffy Lube, and that once the job is done and I drive out of there its my problem. That he would honestly NOT RECOMMEND JIFFY LUBE for anything. When I asked Ryan about the sign they have about employing ASE Mechanics. He said that it was all BS but Jiffy Lube is not an Automotive Shop and everyone knows that. I proceeded to tell him to remove the Freon and give me a refund. He said they couldn't do that. So I told him fine, I will dispute it with the credit card and Jiffy Lube would pay the fees associated to the chargeback. He then proceeded to remove the Freon. When it came to the refund both Justin & Ryan were hesitant and suggested I replace the Compressor and then come back for the Freon recharge (free of charge since I had already paid for it). We all agreed and I had them sign the receipt/work order. At this point I was done dealing with the unprofessionalism the two displayed and in this AZ heat AC is a must and if I replaced the condenser might as well the compressor since its the heart of the system. Money was not the issue but at this point I could certainly not trust them they would do a proper install on a compressor. Mind you torque specs & AC Oil levels, etc. For the last time I came back on Wed 9/28/22 with the new compressor installed hoping I would not have to deal with the likes of Ryan and Justin, I was greeted by Chris which was very helpful. I explained to him that I had replaced both the Condenser & Compressor and that I had already paid. Mind you I did not mention my experience with his co-works as I do not believe it was relevant to the service he was about to perform. Showed him the receipt and proceeded with the car. During the process he let me know there were no leaks, no weird readings on the gauges and showed me on the thermometer that it was blowing right around 40 degrees. He even revved the RPMS a bit to see if the compressor would shut off and nothing. I was on my way Very disappointed with the level of professionalism both Justin Kollinger & Ryan Yering displayed. Justin was not friendly nor approachable in his role as service advisor/ customer service contact, I felt like I was inconveniencing him at his job and that he'd rather be elsewhere. I was especially flabbergasted with Ryan Yering after he revealed details about his employment at Jiffy Lube and elsewhere. I do not believe its customers business to know how much the employees get paid nor how disgruntled the employees are with their employment. One thing I can be certain of is taking Ryan's advice of never stepping foot at another Jiffy Lube again! If you are reading this, consider other options for your automotive needs or simply do it yourself!

    Contradictory invoice

I had been coming to this location for over a year now because they've always treated me well and respectfully. I get what I need and the guys here are great at what they do...unless it comes to tires. Earlier this year, I had to replace all my tires and I was prepared to go to Discount Tires like I always do. While getting an oil change at this location, I was approached about having my tires replaced here. At first I was apprehensive but after reviewing some options, I agreed to have my tires replaced with the condition that I receive warranties on every single one. With the way I drive, it's not a matter of if I'll get a flat but when. I was charged for four tires that included warranties but I when I looked at the receipt, there were contradicting line items. They stated: "ROAD HAZARD WRNTY INCLUDED Each 4.00 ROAD HAZARD WRNTY DECLINED Each 4.00" When I questioned this, I was assured that it was just a system error and that the tech couldn't do anything to change the receipt but that my warranties would be honored. That and I would receive the warranty certificate in my email. Fast forward a couple months and sure enough, I have a blowout. Both passenger side tires blow out while I was on my way to work and I pulled into a gas station in Phoenix. I called a tow truck and had them bring me out to this location where I met Gus about replacing my tires using the warranty I purchased. After pulling up my invoice, Gus pointed out that I declined the warranty and I pointed out that no, I actually didn't. When he pointed to the part where it said 'declined,' I pointed to the section that said 'included.' He didn't budge until I told him I had the certificate that was emailed to me. He asked that I forward the e-mail to him so I did. After some investigating, Gus let me know that the warranties are valid but I didn't actually pay for them. Apparently, there is a separate charge that wasn't included in my invoice. I guess the technician who helped me made a mistake and Gus decided to dig a little deeper and call the tech while I was standing in front of him. In his own words, Gus was 'training' which basically involved him verbally reprimanding the technician for, essentially, stealing from the company. It was really awkward. After that, Gus said he would have to have the tires delivered and exchanged but that I would have to pay for the warranties on the tires. This actually bothered me because this was a mistake on their end. That transaction was over, and I already had the certificate. I even questioned why I should pay for their mistake. I didn't get answer but I left because I was already super late for work. Later that day, I received a phone call saying my tires wouldn't be ready until the next day. I was already annoyed at this point but whatever. Nothing I could do about it. But I did confirm over the phone whether or it was mandatory that I pay for the warranties. Gus said no. Which was correct. When I went to pick up the car, the technician helping me handing me an invoice for over $160 for the warranties. I said I wasn't paying that and Gus came out to me to explain that the invoice is for the warranties I didn't pay for. I could've just let without paying a dime but I don't need that on my shoulders so I agreed to pay for the warranties I used. I didn't have to, but I did it anyway so they couldn't say I stole anything. This was the first and last time that I had ever felt extorted by this location. As a loyal customer, I don't think I should've had to pay for something that was not my fault. I'll never return.

After inspection, was sent a comprehensive evaluation AND was taken through all the points by Brian (Bryan?), and shown/told that car had a coolant leak that was likely going to result in having a $5000+ repair sooner than later. Some of the BEST $ I ever spent! I ALWAYS suggest pre-purchase inspection of ANY used car, irrespective of ANY dealership saying "we thoroughly inspect all of our vehicles."

This should've been a one day job after they got the parts but they had my car from 6/22 - 7/1 due to their complete incompetence. The day the job should've been done I started sensing they messed something up because I got a text message at 1030 stating the job was done and they were wrapping up. Cool, I'll be expecting a call in an hour or so. 1:40 comes around, no phone call so I call them. Give me some BS about they need the alignment and they only have one lift and they've been booked all day. Call back at 4:40, they tell me they are waiting for someone to test drive it. Call back at 5:40, close to closing and I'm told it's ready. Come in as I'm paying, over $2k mind you, Bryan asks if I'm aware of the light that's on. I tell him no because no one has called me about anything. I assume he meant the low oil level light that was on and it was no big deal. Walk out to my car and my check engine, engine malfunction, low oil pressure, red oil can and my console screen telling me to pull over immediately is all lit up. I go get Bryan, he comes out and looks. He says it's not a big deal and that it's safe to drive. A mechanic.....is saying it's safe to drive with all those warning lights on. I ask him if it's safe to drive and unbeknownst to him I'm recording this entire conversation on Facebook voice messenger and when he says that the shop will be liable for anything that happens if I drive off I figure okay, I'll drive it home and bring it back in the morning after I work. As I'm leaving trying to turn left on baseline I almost get tboned by a jeep because my car will not accelerate. Take it back, livid, and leave it with them because what choice do I have? Days go by and we have to practically beg them to keep us informed. I can't work without my car and because of them I'm out over $2000 in lost wages. Throughout this they try and tell me it's my fault because I wasn't keeping up on oil changes and that's causing issues. I have receipts for every oil change I've gotten and the miles put on the car between them, don't tell me I'm not keeping up on my oil changes. After a week and clearly everyone and their mother that works at this joke of a shop they found the problem: the incompetent moron who worked on my car connected the wire harness wrong and it was causing my car to go into limp mode and light up everything on my dash. Over a week it took them to figure this one out. They probably could've opened up ChatGPT, put the issues in and gotten a result faster. I'm not a mechanic but I feel like if a car was working fine when it was brought in and after we worked on it it was quite literally undriveable I would triple check every. Single. Thing. I did to said car. I would keep the customer informed multiple times a day on what was going on instead of making them feel like they were completely forgotten about. Clearly these guys didn't care enough to do so. Don't EVER take your car here, they will screw up your car and not even care enough that you are out of work and costing you your livelihood. 10 days my car was in that shop. 10 days, for something that should've taken one and that's being generous, all because of their complete incompetence. Side note: not all Christian brothers are trash, my sister took hers to the one in San Tan Valley and they were amazing. This one is just horrific and they will be getting reported to the BBB and the AG. I am honestly astounded at how awful this place is.

I also showed him the paint scratches on my car, and he gently wiped them off with thinner. Just like that, my car looked clean and blue again. When I asked what I owed, he smiled and said, "I didn't do anything--no charge." I was honestly taken aback. It's rare to meet someone who leads with genuine care instead of trying to make a quick transaction. This kind of integrity stays with you. I highly recommend this shop and will absolutely return.
