was just here for an oil change two weeks ago, car is new and well kept, never had an issue. Last weekend my car started leaking oil everywhere and there were bolts missing. I'm told from my Ford dealer those bolts don't just come loose. I will never come back here. They don't know what they're doing or pay attention and try to rip you off. They look very professional and kind of like an assembly line. But when I called and gave them model and year of my car they told me $39.99 + tax. When I arrived they told me that either $59.99 or $79.99. I asked "What about this $39.99 ??" . He says "This is conventional oil and it is against recommendations of manufacturer. You can choose it but it will void your warranty and I will have to notify." Seriously? I dont know if they really check all the fluids that they say that they do but at least they vaccum the floor. Overall I paid a little over $100 for oil change and air filter. Last time when I went to STS I paid for synthetic blend with oil filter I paid around $35. When I went to my dealer I paid around $45. I tried to convince myself that it was worth it but things just do not add up. Bottom line: very overpriced and even my dealer charged me less in the past. read more

Sorry. I'd love to write a nice review, but it was a very un-fun experience. The person who guided us in, barking orders at us, would make a drill-sergeant proud. He ordered us around like cattle, using everything but a prod. Once inside, he demanded we sit down and wait, yes, demanded, as I said I'd prefer to stand. Then it was the managers turn, barking at me, when he asked how much of an interval I wanted between oil changes. His computer said "suggested interval 7500 miles" so that's what I told him. He barked that was a bad answer for New Jersey. *Key note: He rushed through all the extra services, barking "you don't want these do you!" Had he asked sincerely, and explained what things were, I likely would have bought -- because I did over 300 dollars of additional fluid changes at the dealer, the very next day! Later after I sat outside while waiting - thankfully they had a park bench outdoors, the electricity went out quite literally. Fortunately, they'd apparently finished with our car (please see below) and we paid cash so we could leave. This was the first positive! However, we paid for the Signature Service where they (supposedly) do a very thorough inspection of the vehicle, and they never told us anything. They didn't say they checked anything, filled anything, or did anything. We only noticed the semi-clean windows and streaks when we got home, suggesting they at least attempted the windows. As a second positive, the person who drove out the vehicle, AND the one who cashed us out were both extremely nice! We were very impressed. But after the drill sergeant and Mr. Angry Manager WOW, it was THE worst customer service experience we've had in a very long time. It made the DMV seem downright friendly. If you're looking for a hostile environment, I'd recommend this Jiffy Lube. If not, steer clear. Last positives: First, the 15 dollar off coupon we got online from Jiffy Lube online worked. Yay! Second, If you need your oil-change done fast, AND you don't mind being pushed around, they turned it around pretty quickly...GIVEN the blackout in the midst :o) Not quite sure what they did, but all-things given, was pretty fast. read more

I brought my Cadillac SRX in for a simple oil change. The car has only 44,000 miles and was running perfectly when I pulled up to their Bay. When I got the car back the engine light was on and it was only running on 3 cylinders. The manager argued that they only did an oil change and it was an unfortunate coincidence. They refused to take responsibility. I have visited this jiffy lube for 10 years with multiple cars, my truck, my wifes car, and my kids cars. I won't be back. read more

There needs to be a feature to give 0 rating Beware This experience once again proves that I rather go to a dealer to get my car worked upon then a small auto shop I drove in here on a weekday for a simple oil change since I was in a rush the sales guy pressure me into an upgrade and getting getting additional work done I chose the simple conventional oil change since they were expensive by the way their prices are way more expensive than a regular dealership or even other jiffy lubes I declined all upgrades and presented my coupon and his comment was so I knew you would decline the synthetic oil change on the screen they advertise clean the car topping the fluids etc is included in their oil change service but instead I got my mats moved around and a pretty bad smirk on his face as he signed me out What I did get is a very quick oil change since the sales guy was mad at me While signing me up he asked me should I change the sticker on your windscreen windshield and I said yes well the sticker is still there Since I was now concerned if that actually did the job or not, I opened the hood to check if at least the oil was topped off. Do not go here!!! I got ripped off! The mechanic asked me if I wanted the same service as last time and then they charged me almost double what I paid and would not make things right. It took 3 phone calls to get the district manager Rich to call me back and then when I called corporate to complain this morning they referred me back to Rich. I asked if they was any kind of quality control at the corporate level and they basically said each store could do their own thing. Then when I was explaining how wrong I thought that was, she hung up on me! Terrible treatment. Fyi, although someone from Jiffy Lube responded to this review on 6/1 and asked me to contact them via email (which I did immediately) I have not heard back. I went to these guys 3 times and had a horrible experience. Shame on me for going back 3 times. I have a 2012 subaru impreza. The first time, they rotated my tires and later that day one of the wheels had a rubbing noise so I had to go back for an "adjustment." They said some plate got bent when they rotated the tires. After the second oil change, about 7,000 miles into what should have been a 7,500 mile change, my low oil light came on. I figured it was normal so did not think much about it. After the third oil change, the low oil light came on 3,000 miles into a 7,500 mile change. I had to put additional oil in on my own. I went to the dealer because the car was under warranty and I thought something was wrong. The dealer performed an oil consumption test and everything checked out fine. In fact, the car barely uses any oil at all. They told me that Jiffy Lube probably did not put in enough oil and/or did not replace the required gaskets which could have caused a leak. Needless to say, I believe Jiffy Lube was trying to cut cost and performed shotty work. I will never go back there. It shows how these places can rip you off. read more

They are efficient though, and when I expressed my dismay at the transmission service pricing the dude immediately took $20 off so I give them that. DO NOT GO HERE !!! 2 times I had my oil changed. First time they broke the glove box on my 2017 CRV while checking the cabin filter and did not say anything. Second time they forgot to secure the engine splash guard and after I left it dragged along the highway. Incompetent, sloppy and over priced amateurs that should not be allowed to touch anyone's vehicle. Plenty of other options for a quick oil change at a better price in the area. They said I needed an air filter change and presented me with the one they had already removed from my car (probably a tactic for me to just say ok, rather than being put in the position to say no, put the old one back in) but if it really did need a new one I just went with it. I enjoy the speed that I am in and out of the service shop. I don't like the hard sell on secondary services and even with a 15 % coupon the cost is above average. Service was fast and friendly, pros and cons of all options were thoroughly explained without any sales pressure (I had my oil changed as well as my brake and power steering fluids). They checked several other things (ie tire pressure) with no additional charges, and now I feel much better about my car going into the winter season. Extremely dishonest place. When getting an oil change, the technician informed my girlfriend that she needed a new air filter. He showed her an extremely dirty filter and said it looked like it had never been replaced. The air filter her car was actually brand new and had been replaced 2 weeks prior. First timer--I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Everyone was polite. I told them my tire warning light was on. My invoice says y tires are inflated to the recommended level. When I got home I noticed the warning light is still on. I don't think my tire is loosing air that quickly. read more

I have gone to this place multiple times over the past 4 years, and it has continuously gone downhill. I cannot stand it, and I recently started going elsewhere. The prices are a rip-off ($60 for a basic oil change?!), and the guys that work there are not friendly, they're always trying to sell you a service/product you don't actually need, and I have little faith that they're actually doing what they say they're doing.
