Besides they therefore were cheaper than most other places, the staff was helpful, patient, showed things about my car nobody else ever did and went above and beyond trying to figure out a few things. I've been coming to Jiffy Lube in Morris Plains for years for oil changes and basic car maintenance. I never have to wait more than 15 minutes for the service to be completed and to be back out on the road. The waiting area is clean and the staff is always friendly and professional...never pushy and never have I felt that they have tried to take advantage of me. In fact, my last visit I requested I have my tires rotated. After looking them over, they asked why I thought I needed them rotated. I explained that at the place where I got my tires (sounds like BLT) they told me I needed to do this every 5000 miles (or basically every oil change). At Jiffy Lube, they told me that's not accurate, with my tires, it is more like every 8,000 miles. I appreciated their honesty. They also always give me coupons, if I forget mine at home. It is a wonderfully run business where they realize that saving me a few bucks here and there will earn them a lifetime customer! read more

The man behind the counter was very courteous and friendly. He explained the service and future recommendations. He was not at all pushy. I've been to this Jiffy Lube many times and always get great service. During each routine oil change, they always let me know when maintenance is due, but never sell me something that I don't need. The people there are great and the wait is never too long, even when they are busy. They even vacuumed by car for me after my last oil change! Will keep coming back. read more

Brought in my car for an oil change and was happy with the quick and courteous service. Took my wife's car the same day for an oil change. The car had 15K miles and the tech told me that the car was due for a brake oil flush and a fuel system flush as per the maintenance schedule. I was naive enough to believe the tech and accepted an additional $200 bill. Came home and checked the maintenance schedule only to find out that these items were not due for another 15K miles. Lesson learnt. Will take the car to the dealer next time. read more

I am writing an updated review here and the next paragraph is what I wrote before. Yes jiffy lube has always been efficient time wise and everyone is always nice I am now seriously questioning their values. 3 days and about 100 miles after I got an oil change, among other services, which include tired pressure check and the bill ended up being over $400!!! I realized after talking with a friend that I had been talked into getting services that I didn't need AND 3 days after all this (I physically saw them filling my tires with air) my friend noticed my tires looked almost bald. Upon further inspection, ie a close look, we realized that 3/4 if my tires were almost completely bald and needed to be replaced. Yet no one at jiffy mentioned this, I'm assuming they don't sell tires because if they did they would have checked and tried to sell me on this too. Not too happy. OLD RECIEW: I have to review this place since I have only had amazing experiences here. I've come to this location at least 5 times for various services anything from oil change, to getting a tire patched. Every single time they have been incredibly nice and efficient. (There are some times during the day where the wait is way longer than others) They have assessed other issues that my car has had and I haven't felt like they took advantage of my somewhat little knowledge of cars. The guys have always explained issues to me in terms that I understand and given me multiple options that sometimes involved me going somewhere else and not spending more money here. The staff is super nice and they are always pretty quick and thorough. Overall I have had nothing but great experiences here and will continue to come for all my car maintenance needs. I took my car into the jiffy lube in Morris plains this past Friday for an oil change, they were very quick. Two things that I had a problem with--when I pulled out on rt 10 I relised that my hood WAS NOT shut completely, just as I managed to pull over it popped OPEN!! Not a good feeling!!! and when I got home and looked at my receipt -on the service checklist the second one down change oil filter just listed ok. Does that mean the oil filter didn't get changed when they changed the oil??? Not sure if that is common or NOT! With the coupon it was $36.89. I have always thought oil change the filter was included? read more

These guys are great. Always super nice and helpful and don't try to take advantage of the fact that I'm a woman and may not know everything there is to know about cars. I got a free replacement light bulb from them when my tail light had been going on & off (and of course was working fine when I brought it in) so one of the guys gave me a new bulb to hang onto. Of course later that night I ended up having to change it! I brought my new car in today which seemed to be leaking something & they took a look at it for me & let me know what they thought it was, free of charge. I will always go back to them and tell everyone I know to use them! read more

My wife went in for a simple oil change (plus the checks they perform). When she left, a dshboard light was lit. She didn't know what it was for initially. I saw it was tire pressure and assumed it was low due to the cold. About 8-9 days later she stopped in to JiffyLube to have them check the air. Three tires went quickly, a fourth took a long time. When she asked why, te employee said the tire had 75 psi in it (32 psi required). "Very Dangerous", he said. When she complained that the person a week before had over inflated her tire, al she was offered was a week excuse and free oil change. The tire at 75 psi should have blown off the wheel over the 600 miles she drove that week and killed her, since most of her driving is highway speeds of 60-70 mph. OUTRAGEOUS that he had no explanation or apology. District manager just as non-responsive and owner (who we asked the District Mgr to contact) never called. AVOID JIFFY LUBE location!!! District Mgr tried to blame my wife for over-inflated tire (she never touchs an air pump. Maybe my lawyer can reach the owner? read more

I must say I haven't been to a Jiffy Lube in a long time and I was pleased at how efficient they were. Everyone was clear and straight forward with recommendations for services. This office had a decent waiting room with a TV. I could walk next door to a strip mall where I had lunch at some beagle shop which was convenient. So I had a good experience. read more

if i was there for 12 minutes - that would probably be an exaggeration. ran through some diagnostics about current levels and what might be expected/recommended for the next visit. the greeting at the car and escorting to the customer waiting room were pluses. read more
