My wife went to this Jiffy Lube on 4/11/19 and I am not happy about what transpired while she was there to simply have her oil changed for $29.99. She went to this Jiffy Lube because of convenience in Newberg. My wife was told that her car, a 2015 Honda CRV needed to have Synthetic oil, or synthetic blend, when the Honda owners manual for her vehicle clearly states that her vehicle does not require synthetic oil and is only an option if desired. Instead of $29.99 my wife was charged $69.99 for synthetic oil which was not necessary. My wife had stated when she arrived there that she was very tight on money. She was also sold a cabin filter for $39.99. These take a minute to replace and are $10 at a local auto parts store or on Amazon. Again, she didn't ask about a cabin filter and was told hers was in bad shape. Her car only has about 32,000 miles. This place reeks of upsell for profit and the owner/manager should be ashamed of their shady business practices. My wife and I will make sure that every other person we know will hear about this and to steer clear. read more

I went in for an oil change and rotation in my tires and everybody was absolutely just honest and caring and polite and willing to do anything for you they were just the nicest people here in Newberg Oregon that I would definitely bring all my vehicles to today I brought my brother's car and they just they didn't try and sell me stuff they didn't try and say you need this you need that you need this they check my brakes and let me know they were low and they did the most wonderful job that surpassed what I was thinking they should do that they did an excellent excellent job and they should be commended for it I really appreciate it more than more than you know they're an asset to the company good people I will definitely go again read more

Jiffy lube was super informative and helpful with my repairs today. The staff was friendly and chipper. However, the last two times I've gone I have had vehicle issues the day afterwards. The first time they incorrectly reinstalled the oil plug causing all the oil to leak out by the time I limped my car back to their shop to fix it the next day. The second time they also replaced my transmission fluid and now my car is threatening to shake apart at highway speeds. read more

Have been taking my car here for oil changes for a few years now. Even though the workers have been different...they always provide the same great service. I just love the convenience of this service, that I can show up anytime and get my oil changed when needed, and recently have used the "free top-off" service which was great as well! I had an excellent experience here. Quick, fast, professional service. I originally went in for an oil change but ended up needing coolant and transmission flushes too (It had been way too long since the last time). I did not feel pressured at all but was educated on why I needed these services. I don't feel I was being offered services I didn't need. Sent my inexperienced daughter in to Newberg Jiffy Lube and she was totally taken advantage of. She was up sold on the oil, and she asked about a tire rotation which they charged $60.00 bucks for on my new Les Schwab tires. Not their fault she asked, but anyone with a shread if ethics would have mentioned it to her that Les Schwab would do it for free. When I called to complain, the general manager said he would have given me the same advise and there was no coupons for the high end oil change they performed on my daughters car. Then when I logged in to yelp to write this comment their website had a coupon for $15.00 off any oil change. No morals... No ethics. No more my money!!!! read more

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. I had just stopped here to get my oil changed and no more than 5 minutes later, one of the guys came in to tell me that he couldn't change my oil because I needed a new oil cap. Then one I had was apparently "chewed up pretty badly." The said he would've given me one for free but he didn't have any and that I needed to come back once I had a new one. I took his word for it and ordered a new one and went home. I went out to my car later to get a look at what he was talking about and everything looked like it was in perfect condition. After going to pick up the cap that came in today, I decided to go to the Jiffylube in McMinnville instead. No only did they not mention anything about the cap, but after bringing it up, they said it was perfectly fine. So I bought a $27 cap for no reason, completely my fault. In addition to lying to me, these guys told me my oil change would start at $69.99 right off that bat but after going to the McMinnville location, the manager gave me a choice out of all the packages and types of oils, regardless of what would've been the best for my car. That's service. I don't know if it was the fact that I am a young woman or what, but they mustve thought I was stupid and it didn't work out in their favor. The "Manager" treated my girlfriend like an idiot and then when she finally had enough of his BS she told him to stop talking to her with such disrespect and then she left. I have been servicing my car at jiffy lubes in other states for many years without a problem; they usually go above and beyond. However this time I was disappointed. The Man at front desk tried to sell me service at a "discounted" price when I'm still not even sure what I was paying for. Was vague and tried to appear like he was cutting me a great deal but when I asked him to repeat and clarified he seemed annoyed that I hadn't understood He then proceeded to tell me that my car had been vacuumed and a new sticker put on my window reminding me of next date of service. It wasn't until I drove away that I realized the car had not been vacuumed. I drove back and was on my way home only to realize they had forgotten the sticker as well. He didn't offer me any discount for next service or anything to remedy the situation except an apology even after I had dropped quite a few dollars. Everyone here seemed scattered brained and confused. I do not recommend. read more

Let me count the ways- last oil change I asked them to check my tire pressure- after they said my car was ready, they hadn't checked the tires, rather, they were near the dumpster vaping and smoking. Only the African American employee bothered to inflate my tires. In years past they have suggested fluids and other fixes that were bogus, and when flushing the radiator, blew a connector that eventually drained the radiator and caused it to crack, and they refused to fix the radiator. WEll it was Jiffy alright! I wish the guy helping me would have taken the marbles out of his mouth so I could understand what he was saying! Who knows what I ACTUALLY purchased as far as extras or up grades.. It was so bad I just had to say no to everything. There is pretty much negative ZERO customer service there. If you want your oil changed quick and to be made to feel like you are pretty much a bother then go ahead.. at least your mind will be at ease that your car isn't going to explode or something but I won't be back. read more

Took my SUV in for an oil change. Was told my car needed almost $1000 worth of work. Including new brakes. I was told the fronts were almost metal on metal and needed immediate replacement. The rears were in a little better shape but still needed attention. Took it to a brake place in town. Fronts were five mm and rear at seven mm. They start at eight mm. They didn't recommend doing anything to them. Said they have been getting many, many people in per week asking for unneeded brake repairs. All told they needed them by Newberg Jiffy Lube. Gave two stars because as far as I can tell the oil change I paid for was done properly. Not a fan of the unneeded repairs they wanted to do though. read more

Wow! All I can say is never again. I've used them several times and when I went into get an oil change they had no record of me or my vehicle. The customer service was less than adequate. We got no more than a couple grunts and demands. No one told us anything about the services. 2 cars went through in the other Bay while we sat there waiting. It was a painful experience. read more

When there are No less than four signs saying 'OPEN' plastered on building, one would expect the business to actually be open. The employees were there and one came out and said they open in 30 min if I wanted to wait. I was a bit irritated due to the fact the open signs were the reason I pulled in off the highway in the first place. I took my truck elsewhere. I went to this place once after Aldo's closed in Sherwood. I declined their recommendation to replace my air filter. The next time I had my oil changed (somewhere else), they informed me that my air filter had been shoved into the housing incorrectly. There was a big gap that allowed unfiltered air to be sucked into my engine. They said there was no way an auto tech would do that except with intent. I believe that the person responsible was the shift leader/manager since he was operating the computer to check me in and was the one who brought the air filter over to show me. Kathleen B read more

Went in for a quick oil change, left crying. The service people harassed me so badly about changing some belts on my car. They said if I didn't change them now my car would not be driveable and I wouldn't make it the mile home. Needless to say I refused and they were short and rude for the rest of the time. After getting an oil change at this location our engine started making noise. The car only has about 45000 miles and was running perfectly before our visit to the Newberg jiffy lube. I change my oil at the manufacturer recommended intervals and I have the paper work to prove it. Took the car into our local mechanic and they said the oil was very low and extremely dirty. I told them it was just changed by the newberg jiffy lube and they didn't believe me until they where shown the receipt. Their next comment was it was very unlikely the oil was changed and I was told to get another oil change. The oil change business I took our car to said it didn't look like they changed my oil as well. After the second oil change the noise stopped and after driving quite a few miles the oil has not dropped at all and still looks very clean. I highly recommend you avoid this dishonest or at the very least incompetent shop. They also did not put a sticker in my window or reset my computer but, they happily charged me. I've also had other family members have issues with this particular jiffy lube. If you like playing Russian roulette with your vehicle then by all means visit these guys. read more

Oil change on the fly before returning to Eugene. Incompetent installation of oil filter caused oil to drain out on the freeway, oil light came on. Refilled with 4 qts Walmart oil (4.3 qt capacity) to get me to JiffyLube on Coburg Rd who would not help with another franchise's problem. Jiffy on 7th in Eugene was very kind, did a fresh oil change at no charge, vacuumed and washed my car to boot, won a new customer. But the Newberg manager at first wouldn't respond to my attempts to contact, then when I finally reached him he told me it doesn't hurt an engine to run it dry of oil (yeah, right!). Then he agreed to refund his charges and stand up to my modest expenses incurred to correct their mistake, but I haven't heard a peep from him in weeks. So I'm not holding my breath. Everybody screws up, but it is very difficult for me to do business with dishonorable or irresponsible people. read more

My husband went to add some oil to my car and he could not get the oil cap off. I had went to to Valvoline last to change my oil and had problems with them before. A friend had recommended Jiffy Lube before and I thought that maybe they could help me get it off. Right away when I pulled up they greeted me with smiles on their faces and were really polite. I explained the issue I was having to the employee named Francisco. He attempted to remove the oil cap, after ten minutes despite his efforts he could not get it off. He called over his manager to help I think his name was Sky. After talking to him for a minute or so he came back with a tool and got it off. Since I was there and due for an oil change I had them do it. They told me it would be about 20 minutes but they had it done in 10. The entire experience was great. Great customer service and I appreciated how much attention they put towards my car. read more
