They charged $300 to diagnose, which seemed high, but I didn't want to tow my car to another shop, so I accepted that. They got my car back to me five days later, and the alternator worked great but a dash light had come on for a bulb which was not burned out. I replaced the bulb but the light persisted. I asked the shop about looking at it, and I was advised well, we'll run some tests, which sounded to me like another $300 diagnosis. So, the alternator repair was good, but now I have a permanent dash light on until I can find a shop to take it to. All in all, I'd say they are an OK shop.

They not only solve the issue at hand, but will always note any other problems they see and ask if I'd like those addressed as well. They always give great advice and are happy to walk me through what they're fixing and how so I can gain more knowledge and independence when it comes to maintaining my own vehicle. They've spotted things other mechanics missed multiple times. Mustafa has gone above and beyond on several occasions by saving old parts so I could return or sell them, picking me up from where I was staying way out in Gaston because I otherwise couldn't get a ride to the shop for several days, and comping hours' worth of diagnostic time on a hard-to-find vacuum leak. He's always looking for a practical solution that works and saves you cash. As a petite femme my experience at the mechanic varies. Some places treat me like I'm wallpaper, not listening to a word I say. But Mustafa treats me with respect and talks to me like a human being, actually listening to the issues I'm reporting. However, when they finally got around to looking at it, I got a call saying the batteries and terminals needed to be replaced. The thing is, my batteries never had any issues -- a simple cleaning would have been more than enough. Instead, they went ahead and installed two new batteries and claimed to have cleaned the terminals. By the time they were done, my bill was nearly $800, and the original issue -- the fuel pump -- wasn't even addressed. I could have easily replaced the batteries and cleaned the terminals myself for a fraction of the cost. What's worse is this isn't the first time we've had issues with this shop. We brought our Jeep in multiple times as well, and it also never came back fully fixed. We've been loyal customers, but this last experience has left us feeling taken advantage of and extremely disappointed. I can't recommend this shop anymore and will be looking elsewhere for future repairs.

They did an oil change, changed all the filters, changed the windshield wipers, and did everything for the price they said, and within the time they said. I'm very pleased with their service and the waiting room at their property. Not only do I prefer going to a locally owned business, but it was much closer to me than the Honda dealership. Chris said he would do it for me and he would drop the car off in the O'Reilly parking lot after he was done (which is exactly what he did). Came in for a new transmission, broken AC and a leaking tire. Was told it would be a week, which sounds good as that was every time line we were told from other places we called. A week goes by and the parts still weren't in, again I mean that's just shipping and it happens, can't really blame the shop. After a week and a half they install the new transmission, but said there was something wrong so they kept working on it. Another week goes by and they say they need to order ANOTHER trans. At this point we are very frustrated as we needed this vehicle back 3 weeks ago. But I mean who knows what is really going on so we just hang tight. Finally, a MONTH later, we get a text that the trans was replaced and good to go but they didn't have time to fully fix the ac. Didn't have time? You had it for a month and decided until the last day to look at the AC. They replaced the blower motor but said they would have to take the whole thing out and didn't have time for it, so it was ultimately a temporary fix for a full charge. After asking for a price break down he gave us $150 off. Woopie after a $7,500 ordeal that didn't feel sufficient. They then charged our card for the second half of our bill after we explicitly said "we do not authorize this charge" and we also don't remember saying they could save the card on file..... if that wasn't all enough to make us never come back we then find out the tire was never fixed after it went flat on the road a few days later. To which the guy says "looks like I forgot" !!! Now the AC stopped working because again it was never actually fixed in the first place. Truly unacceptable from start to finish. They clearly do not care about doing a good job and just want your money. He asked us multiple times to pay the remaining balance before we even picked up the vehicle or had any work done. Avoid at all costs.
