Ive come to this locatiom for quick tire puncture issues. Today, I pulled up and immediately a servicw tech approaches kindly and assist right away. He located the puncture and informes that the tire must be replaces as they could not repair the puncture due to its location. Eventhough I did not get any other service, I can alert that Jiffy Lube is not just a oil change business its a multi service auto shop. My visit was quick and easy. Shaun walked to my door asked me to pull up and opened my door for me. This is my first oil change outside of the dealership so I know my car is pretty well maintained. There wasn't a hard sell to perform any service even the one they recommended. I was in and out in 20 minutes or less. I was quite surprised at the current fees for certain services; $6.00 to top off anti-freeze when the oil change was $77.95? Seemed excessive...The waiting area was dirty, there was a Keurig coffee machine sitting on a small sticky counter ...very little powdered creamer, no sugar or sugar substitutes. For the current prices, the very least the franchise owner should assure a clean waiting area and adequate coffee for during the waiting period. On a positive note, the employees were very friendly and the service did not take too long. I don't think I'd patronize this particular location again, even though it's most convenient to me. read more

I came to Jiffy Lube for diagnostic test because I heard " grinding" in the front of my car and stated my engine light came on the night prior. I was told I could not have a diagnostic test ran on my car be because my engine light was no longer on. They proceed to tell me I needed an oil change with no oil light being on. Come to found out it was my starter failing making that " grinding" noise. They will tell you anything to get money out of you. read more

We gave them our car for a checkup because of unusual noises and were told to replace a certain part. I thought it was kind of high so I went to another mechanic for a second opinion. Found out that the parts the JillyLube was suggesting to replace was not what was causing the noise. I'm frustrated that they tried to push on me a repair that was not needed and avoided the real problem. Good thing I went for a second opinion and fixed the right problem instead of wasting money. I just finished stopping in Jiffy Lube Owings Mills (near Tollgate) on this rainy day because my light came on saying low oil. I drove up back to get the guys names who helped me. The first guy (Raheem), told me he would be right with me. He was helping a marine veteran and said he would be right with me. Side note: I got a chance to thank the veteran for his service to our country. Another team member (Chaz) came over to my vehicle and offered help. He politely requested I turnoff my vehicle and open the hood. Once he saw I had recently been there, he told me I would be topped off for no charge. After he filled my oil, he requested I turn the car on to see if the light came back on then he had me turn my vehicle off and sit to ensure the reservoir was where it needed to be. After he checked again, he gave the thumbs up. While driving away I thought about how much I appreciated both of them and their going the extra mile with a smile . I decided to drive back and get their names so I can write a Google review. Im around the corner right now typing this review because I don't want to put it off. This Jiffy Lube location is ALWAYS on point with Professionalism, Kind Service and Truth (that's saying a lot for a car place). Recently, they put my moms spare tire on her vehicle for no charge. I think this location must have a different vetting process for employees or customer service training because it's unlike any of the other locations I'm been to in my 30+ years of driving. 5 stars to this location. Please know that I'm speaking specifically about THIS LOCATION! If u don't live close this location -- it's worth it for you to drive to this location if your within 25 miles. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for the past 2 years getting oil changes. Over the last year I noticed my oil pressure light came on. Recently on 3/5/23 I went to get another oil change. I specifically told the agent that my oil light is on & ask could they check it. After my oil change they advised it's was a censor and that they didn't see a problem. I said ok i'm scheduled to go to the dealership that following Tuesday i'll get them to look at it. while at the dealership they advised me that whoever has been doing my oil changes has caused me to need a replacement oil pan because they stripped it. I contacted Jiffy Lube and there has not been any accountability. I spoke to the district manager and he wasn't very professional. I did not come to this conclusion myself, this was what dealership told me. Not to add Jiffy Lube uses red sealant and its on my oil pan and they replaced my oil pan top. Now i'm stuck with a $700 bill and its no accountability! read more

I stopped at this Jiffy Lube in August for the first time. I was tired of making service appts elsewhere (Goodyear, Mr. Tire) and still having to wait and wait and wait for an oil change that shouldn't take that long. I was impressed at first. When I pulled up, a gentleman greeted me opened my car door for me and led me into the waiting room. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. They do have coffee, magazines and tv while you wait. The agent asked me to come up to the counter. He offered a booklet of coupons for $3 and said the money went to MD. I agreed. He then informed me my antifreeze was low. I though that was kind of odd since it was just done back in the winter months. He said to top it off was $4.49. I agreed since I was a little scared driving around low on antifreeze. Visited same site again on 11/23 because I still had those coupons to use. This time, I was pulled out into the garage and told I was low on antifreeze. I declined to top it off this time. Something didn't seem right and if I had a leak, I needed to get it fixed. Not keep putting a band aid on it. I declined all the extra stuff paid and went home. My boyfriend checked the antifreeze the next day. It was so full, it went a little up beyond the line. Really? I was low? I am not sure if this is a scam they run on everyone or just women, but it's really pathetic. I tossed those coupons out and I won't be returning to this or any other JL again. I don't deal with liars or give them my hard earned money and have reported this store to their corp office. read more

As I'm sitting in the small waiting room I look over and notice the guy working on my car is pushing on the top of my engine. It's making the whole car go up and down. Or is it just me? I step out into the shop area and they look back at me like idiots. I won't go there again like they want me to. Like when I did pull up the ignoramus was like, "nooooo". My mother was in town visiting and I noticed she needed an oil change. Pulled my trusty Yelp app for a Jiffy Lube near by and waalah. Our experience was stellar! I pulled in, they got the door for me as well as for my mother - whose moving rather gingerly lately, so they had to wait a few more seconds. It was after 2PM on a Saturday and we pretty much were in & out. No additional services were needed so we didn't have to decline anything extra. They even apologized for the disgruntle lady that was upset over the length of time for her brake job. And they apologized over & over to her for the long wait. But she wasn't having it. ANYWHOOOO...again, we were in & out. The waiting area was clean and neatly stashed magazines and collegiate football was on the TV. Great customer service! Wow! My brother was right go to THIS Jiffy Lube! I pulled up at 8:45 am for an oil change and was out by 9:00 a.m. Upon arrival the staff was so welcoming! They told me where to park then escorted me to the waiting areas (outside benches or lobby). Complimentary coffee and water are available inside. Within a few minutes, Tashawn asked which oil I would prefer, but explained the various options. He then reviewed the other findings on my car and answered all questions. He was very knowledgeable on the products and procedures at Jiffy. The rest of the crew James, Timothy and George were also polite. I paid and went on my way! I am very disappointed with my visit which was my last at Jiffy Lube ever. The technician advised that my front break pads were very low and in danger of getting to the point of scraping the rotars. So, 30% into my oil life I came to HONDA OWINGS MILLS SERVICE to do a Free diagnostic check. The tech came out and said, I would love to sell you breaks, but you do not need them. You actually have 60% life to your front breaks. The integrity of Jiffy Lube has disappointed me. Not sure if this word is in your companies mission, as I do not think so. Had to stop in bc the car's engine was knocking and when I checked my dipstick...dry as the Sahara! Needless to say I was feeling stressed but this JL was 5 minutes away from my job. Chad very nicely put my fears to rest about my engine seizing since I had made it there and I apologize that I don't know the names of the other technicians but I arrived there at about 4:20 and had an oil change, tires rotated and other diagnostics run and was on my way by 5 only $122 out of pocket. I didn't feel the pressure that I sometimes get from other JL outlets to change out everything (air filter, cabin filter, etc.) to boost their sales, they told me what I needed and let me make the decision. Despite having two other people ahead of me I was in and out within 40 minutes not even having time to fully check my email on their onsite wifi. Would definitely recommend and wish I hadn't been so frazzled so that I could thank the staff that was so efficient and nice. read more

I went in today for an oil change and was greeted at my car by a gentleman who opened my car door for me AND held the door to the shop open for me as well. The attendant who rang me up (Moe) explained that there were a few other things that they spotted while changing the oil, but didn't pressure me to purchase anything else or try to scare me into getting the work done today. I was in and out of the shop within 20 minutes AND they even vacuumed my mini-van and cleaned the windows for me!! Everyone here was super nice and it was an AMAZING experience. There isn't really anything special about a Jiffy Lube. I get my oil changed here. It's nice that they wash your windows and vacuum your interior with an oil change. The staff always opens the lobby door for you when you enter and leave which I think adds a little charm to the place. The lobby usually smells like stale coffee, but it's not a huge deal. I kind of feel like they try to sell you on things that you don't need, but that's part of their job, so I don't fault them for that. You can go anywhere for an oil change, but I go to Jiffy Lube because the customer service has always been great, the service is quick enough that I can get it done on my lunch break and that you can usually google a $10 off coupon for an oil change. read more

I love this place. Picture this: A cold rainy/sleety day in early March. A woman comes in for an oil change, she knew she was over due by 2000 miles. She parks in the lot, but no! A service person greets her as she opens her car door, asks her what she needs and asks her to pull into the garage. He escorts her, umbrella overhead, into the lobby where there is hot coffee and warm service. The people here treated me as if I were the only one they had had all day. Service was prompt, efficient and not pushy. The person in charge of my car notes most of the things I wanted fixed and did what he could within my price range. Update*** 8/24 I was contacted by the head manager Tennison. A very nice and professional gentleman who received my review. He 1st apologized for my experience and says it was their responsibility to fix it. He explained that I should have been properly informed about the price prior to the work. It's important to him that they maintain the integrity of their facility and ensure that their customers get the best and most honest service. He wanted to make sure they honored my original quote and asked if I could come back so they could refund the difference. Now THAT'S the Jiffy Lube that I've entrusted with the care of my vehicles for years. He really made sure that this situation turned around for the good. And I really appreciate his kindness and the accountability for the mishap. Mistakes happen for sure, but I'm very appreciative for how the head manager handled the entire situation. He was completely different from the mgr yesterday. So with that being said, THANK YOU TENNISON! Thank you for your professionalism, kindness, and attention to your customer. 8/23 I've been a customer there for about 8 years. Usually the service is great and I'm satisfied when I leave. Well today they have lost a customer. I went in for brake pads. The young man I spoke with was very kind and explained that I also needed new rotors (not what I was wanted to hear of course). He quoted me $379.00. Well okay I know it needs to be done and as a long-standing customer, I know they are giving me the best price for what I need. Well time went by, I saw that my car was finished. Another gentleman (the manager) came and I noticed there was hesitation to call me up. Next thing I'm told is that I was misquoted. The rotors that I needed were more expensive and that my new total is $517. But they got it down to $465. That is still about $100 more than what I was quoted. Plus that really put me in a bind because the work was already done. The manager looked for other coupons as I asked. I actually saw a manager's discretion discount which actually would've put me around the original quoted price. The young guy even asked the manager about it (since it was their fault), who says he's trying to avoid it. I'm very disappointed. And I'm not an argumentative person. He ended up giving the price of $456. So now I'm left with $40 in my account. I'm putting that out there because that's the position their mistake put me in. No sympathy from the mgr. This is a great place to get an oil change. I have never waited more than 20 minutes. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I never feel like they are trying to trick me into buying services or products that I do not actually need (a HUGE deal in any car service business. Five minutes later was greeted by store manager gave him my information and specific oil to use and sat in the waiting room, which thankfully had air conditioning.
