I don't often review auto shops, but for me this was worth a mention. I had to take my car in for an oil change and I needed some brake work, and this spot was convenient. I've been here before with hit or miss service, but it appears they have upped their game, and I was more than pleasantly surprised The staff was friendly when greeting me, opened my door with a smile, and ushered me to the lobby where they had waters, a restroom etc. they almost immediately came in and gave me options in layman's terms and with no pressuring or "scamming" tone. There are windows where you can see your car, the workers, and everything is transparent. In the last k could see employees acting unprofessional, but everyone working this day was efficient, professional, and highly skilled At checkout I presented a coupon, but it was no longer valid. The staff member quickly looked up a discount code on their computer and marked my service down to more than I was going to get with my coupon. I was going to have to comeback for additional work an they quoted me, offered an additional discount, and quoted me an approximate time The services were provided in a skillful and timely manner for an affordable price. Again, I don't usually have a reason to report service at an auto shop, but I feel like the staff here treated me like a valued customer, and I really appreciated it. Some tips: Look online for valid coupons to use on oil changes and/or other services. If you don't want to wait in their lobby you can walk next door to the CVS to browse while you wait. If they need to do additional work and you're hesitant they will often try to offer some sort of discount, and it never hurts to ask if they are aware of any deals or promotions Cheers!! read more

I have been going to this location since they opened in the early 90's. This morning I went in to get my car inspected. Was in the waiting room looking into the garage where I saw three employees, two not wearing masks at all and one just covering his mouth, not his nose. I saw both unmasked employees go into different cars, one to do the vacuuming service and the other to start a vehicle after an oil change. I left immediately and won't be back. If these guys won't take covid 19 seriously, they don't need my business. read more

Normally I bring my vehicle to Take 5 for state inspections. They were unavailable so I brought my car to Jiffy Lube. I'll never go there again. Customer service was horrible. They forced me to pay $16 for light bulbs I could purchase at Walmart for $4.95. If I didn't purchase them they were going to fail the inspection and make me pay the fee again. Almost two hours for a state inspection! We waited about half an hour for the car to be inspected. And had to wait over an hour for them to complete the inspection after the test drive! Just ridiculous! I never had to wait do long for a car inspection! This is absolutely ridiculous! read more

I came in at 7:33a for an oil change after patiently waiting until 8:15a I get called in to be told I need to change air filter which I changed 6mos ago and that I need to change wipers which I also recently replaced after a ridiculous quote I am still waiting for my car to be ready at 8:45a I'm so glad that I came in at open to try and save time- I recommend going to your dealership at least Toyota(in my case)is more professional & realize that your time is valuable-did I mention 4 staff members in shop area & that I'm one of two customers that were here since they opened? I will not use Jiffy Lube at all in the future nothing Jiffy about it but a complete rip off and waste of time!!! Also worth notting I only gave 1 star because 0 is not an option. Allowed me to leave their location after an oil change without notifying me that my oil plug was stripped and leaking oil rather profusely to the point of being a quart and a half low within a month of having it serviced. Called the Pasadena location on Burke and the manager was less than friendly about things, suggested he could come to my house after 7 pm to look at it (weird/unprofessional) because they do not offer tow service. My stick was getting ZERO read on the oil level, so i was not going to risk driving to a location that is 20 minutes from my home because they don't feel like picking up the slack. Thankfully i have AAA and was able to have it towed. Had the issue rectified by the awesome guys over at the El Dorado location who informed me that as part of the Jiffy Lube quality assurance check, they are supposed to inspect every vehicle they service for issues like this before they are cleared to leave the shop. Corporate will be advised about this dangerous lapse in judgment/obvious neglect. This location had better be glad the leak was caught before any serious damage was done to my car. read more

I DO NOT recommend a tire rotation from this company. Unfortunately, I found this out the hard way. I went there two days ago for an oil change and decided to have my tires rotated. Now my car's alignment is off. I went there today to have them put the tires back. The black guy I talked to was rude, insulted my intelligence, and was full of assumptions and excuses on why my car no longer drives straight. At the same time, he - a representative of the company - did not take responsibility for what Jiffy Lube clearly did. Big surprise. When I asked if they could put the tires back, first he looked at me like I was crazy then said they could for another $21. I don't think so. I should not have to pay for them to fix a problem they caused. The customer service at this location has been sub-par in the past, but this guy was flat out rude and insulted my intelligence with what he said and how he said it. They have lost my business which is a shame because they are so close. So people beware. If the people at Jiffy Lube mess something up on/in your car, they will not take responsibility for it, they have no warranty on their work, they'll make excuses, and will try to pull more money out of you to "fix" it (and I use that word loosely). So if you need an oil change, or other minor auto work done, I suggest going somewhere else, find a trusting mechanic, or just do it yourself. read more

Went in for an oil change, last service was great but this time was far from great. I was charged the right amount but a mistake was done on how they coded the payment, their mistake, not mine. The amount I paid was correct but they wanted to reverse my charge which was going to take a couple of days to go back on my card but wanted to run a second charge. I refused because I had already paid. The other employee made the comment "Just let him walk", I wasn't walking without paying. They made it seem as it was my fault for them not knowing how to use a register. Then I drive off and notice all my other service sticker were gone, Transmission Service, Radiator Flush and other services I had done before, when I called back they said the just thought they were all for oil changes and removed them. I came in at 9:30 am yesterday for an oil change and they suggested checking my breaks. At 12 they told me it would be an hour to get my breaks changed. At 1 I came back and they told me it would be another hour.... 23 hours later.... I'm still waiting for my car! You just lost a 8+ year customer. read more

Beware when taking your vehicle here for anything.( oil change ,inspection exc) they try to nickel and dime you for any thing they can . They look for any thing just to charge you more even when it is not necessary. And you can get the part cheaper some where else and do it your self. I took my truck to get it inspected for the tags,and of course they said, my wiper blades were bad and I just changed them like 12 weeks ago the truck is 2 years old and when I got mad because they do this all the time. they said I would still have to pay for the inspection but they would not pass it till I re-replaced it. And there was nothing wrong with the other ones . They did the same thing to my wife when she went in to get a oil change )because they had a special going on) and $300 later. so beware !!!! I feel dumb cause I know how they are and told my self don't ever go there again. I always tell family friends not to go there and I didn't listen to my own advice. Terrible service. Tried to sell unnecessary parts when the parts on the car were new. Over inflated tires. Guys weren't rude but not willing to provide good customer service and make things right.
