Slow and pricey, Jiffy is just a marketing word, and please turn a heater on, last weekend it was warmer outside then in the waiting room.

The staff is unresponsive and unconcerned about safety. An employee insists on parking his car at the very front corner, creating a severe accident risk for cars turning left out of the Kennedy Fitness Center. There is just no line of sight when his large, dark car is parked in that location. Many people have complained about the issue. When we talked to the man at the front desk, he said the car was his, and it has to be there because he "has been threatened by a customer." (Wonder what happened there?) Apparently, there is an outside camera that is focused on the area where he parks his car. So we talked with the manager, suggesting perhaps the employee could park his car in the Jiffy Lube lot, where it would be visible. The manager said he cannot tell his employees where to park. Period. No one seemed concerned about the accident risk. No one cared. I would expect better from a place that's in the business of taking care of cars. read more

I always go to this location, and have excellent service, but this last time was extra good. Reason #1: I had my 3 year old with me who was very interested in the entire oil change process and was asking tons of questions! Cody was very obliging to my curious kid and even got her a step stool so she could watch the process out the window. He even showed her the air compressor that was making the noise she was interested in. She was beyond thrilled. Reason #2: There was a current People mag in the waiting room. Reason #3: I was out of there in 11 minutes. I counted. If I could give them 6 stars I would. Bravo! read more

I just had the best oil change experience at this location and had to share. I arrived at 9:00am for an oil change and was greeted by an employee opening my car door and welcoming me to Jiffy Lube. He walked me into the office explaining the oil services offered, pointing out the Keurig coffee (with flavored creamer!) station as we went. I waited less than 10 minutes in the office, listening to the calming sound of the fountain and before I'd even finished my cup of coffee, my car was ready. One employee held the office door open, another held my card door open and off I went with a smile on my face. This JL is awesome! read more

I am 'Livid' with Jiffy Lube Paso Robles!! My daughter just text me asking if $100.00 is a bit too much to pay for an oil change. I said What?? and where are you?? She replied Jiffy lube. I asked why are they charging so much?? She replied,they said her car needed ' European' oil. Being a VW I would've said it needed 'German'Oil!!!!! I wanted to go down to the store and Chew on someone!! She woulded let me!! Probably good thing..Any ways I just wanted to vent and cool off. And let the manager know I will pay you a visit.. I'm sorry to say that after going to the Jiffy Lube in Paso Robles for over 5 years I will never go back. My last oil change was the second time my oil drain plug was not tightened and oil leaked on my driveway. I found out the hard way the new synthetic oil that is $100 per oil change also eats holes in pavement. Now I have a badly damaged driveway and no faith that I can have my oil changed at this Jiffy Lube and not burn up my engine from oil lose. read more

I've always paid about 30 for oil changes for my car. They charged me 60 for a basic oil change. I asked if the price had gone up and the girl at the counter said she thought it had. I asked if they could do anything and she said she would check with the manager. They did the service then she came back and told me they couldn't provide any discount. This is by far the most I've ever paid for an oil change so i wont be going back. if you buy the groupon its 32 which i could have done while i was there but didn't see it until i got home. Worst visit ever waited forever while a large heavy set male employee took his sweet time working on a red h2....only one other person was working under the hood of other cars. Watch out ladies!! If you don't know much about cars like I didn't, they will definitely take advantage of you! After having someone help me review the items on my receipt, I learned that I overpaid, A LOT! A 34$ up charge, "system cleaner," 39$, (my car was 6months old, did not need) , charged me for a full extra quart of oil to "top it off," (my car did not need) 94$ charge an hour for labor- I was out in about 20min?? I ended up paying over 160$ for an oil change!! I said I didn't want anything extra, and I was told this is "standard" to take good care of my new car. I went to Jiffy Lube for a vehicle inspection that was required for a volunteer driving job. The person that greeted me was nice and showed me into the waiting room where they have coffee and water available. I have a 2014 Subaru Forester and didn't expect any problems with the inspection, especially since I just had a check up in January, so I was quite surprised it failed for brake pads (2-3mm) and a tiny crack in my windshield (smaller than my pinky fingernail). When I got home I checked the Subaru inspection from Jan. and my brake pads were 7-8mm. I was concerned that there may have been a problem with my brakes so I went to Subaru again and got 7-8mm ratings for the brake pads! That JL was so off on this inspection I would not trust them to do anything on my car! Something that crossed my mind since I was the only women in the waiting room...perhaps they were hoping to take advantage of me?!? BEWARE if you bring your car here!! read more

The town I came from had such a better company (chain also) for this same service, it would take no more than 15 minutes while I stayed in my car reading a complimentary USA Today. I've been the this Jiffy Lube four times over the last few months and its some of the best service I've ever experienced. I've gone to Jiffy Lube's all over the country because I think it's a great value. The team at Oak Hill is great about informing me of all the recommended services but is not pushy about up selling. After being ignored by two Wal Mart employees (who were too busy admiring another customer's dog) for nearly 10 minutes without so much as a glance or smile to me, let alone a "we'll be right with you", I drove to Jiffy Lube. What a difference! So nice! So professional! Even offered me coffee and snacks! As it turned out, I need my starter repaired. I had a great experience getting my truck's oil changed at Jiffy Lube. They offered coffee and water in a comfortable waiting room along with a great outdoor table to sit while waiting. Super helpful and friendly staff! The service was quick, in and out within 30 minutes! read more
