I found out where customer service went to die. So the premise is that someone walks up to you and gives you a QR code to scan so you can check yourself in. Cuz, heaven forbid the staff would have to actually do the task. While I am not yet victimized by the digital divide, I really didn't want to spend my time figuring out their POS system. Each service is nickel and dime. At my last oil change, ( different location) I was able to order a 'high mileage vehicle synthetic oil". Here, nah but you can buy a synthetic oil and add on a high mileage pour-over for a fee. In the olden days, they would show you the parts they recommend to be replaced and offer the chance to repair. Now this location states there is a problem on the invoice but by the time you see it, your car is already pulled out of the bay. Once upon a time, all windows would be cleaned and the floor mats vacuumed. Here, they proudly tell you the front window was washed and offer you a moist towelette to do your own dashboard. Whee; such a treat. I know everywhere is doing less and charging more, but I will remember what good service was like until my dying day. (Hint: it's not at this location.) Jiffy Lube in Paso Robles is my "go to" if I need an Oil Change. Curb appeal is better than normal. This particular location is not on a main thoroughfare...it has greenery surrounding it. Two outside sitting areas and the normal waiting room inside. The customer service here has always been very good. Today was no different. An associate named Andrew was top notch...from receiving (writing up service needed/requested) vehicles as they came in, to working hard in the "garage". Then of course was the Manager (Jose) who has helped me several times in previous visits and is also extremely Customer Service centric . Normally, when I need an Oil Change , the Crew at this location get me "in, done and out" within an hour...which really isn't bad. At the register, they "run down" the services and "checks of the vehicle" that were provided before they present you with the bill...which also seems pretty reasonable. Personally, getting an Oil Changed done is about as thrilling as going to the dentist, but the Jiffy Lube in Paso Robles makes the experience more than tolerable. Jose campos store manager of 2911 is always working lower bays without a hard hat and proper ppe.Employees consistently risk customer safety for quick sales and quick money. Very obviously a money hungry corporation not worried about the customers best interest. For example rotating tires with unsafe tread levels and lying about the quality of customer filters and car parts. Employees do not receive 10 minute breaks typically. If you do wanna take a 10 there is a lot of push back from management team. They schedule meeting and shifts without notice. The management team is all stacked with overtime however the employees barely scrape by with 17 an hour and less than 30 hours and week.If you value time money do not come to any jiffy lube they only view customers as a sale to add to there statistics. read more

Last time I came the oil filter was improperly installed, and so I beefed up with a "oil leak" a few weeks later. I am pretty forgiving so I came here again today to give it one more chance. I started out with a 20 min time quote. That quickly turned into "45 or an hour" even with a simple oil change and 5 people looking in my engine all at the same time.. I've always had poor customer service at Jiffy Lube. Once they said my wipers needed replacing when I just got a new one installed that week. Now I'm unsure if they told me the truth about the "problem" that need fixing. This morning when my mother in law, who is almost 70, accidentally parked in Jiffy's no parking. She didn't see the no parking sign amongst all the other signs. When she got out of the gym, in less than hour, she realized jiffy lube had her car towed.... she understood why, but what's incomprehensible and rude was that they wouldn't help my sweet mother in law. Her phone and purse was in her car! She was wrapped in a towel and cold. She was scared and didn't know what to do. She asked if someone could drive her to the tow yard because she didn't have any number memorized or have money for an Uber. They told her no because they were too busy. There were 6 employees standing around when we got there looking for her. It's unbelievable jiffy lube wouldn't help an elderly lady with no phone, no money, wrapped in a towel, stranded in a town she doesn't know. i went to Jiffy Lube Paso Robles today for oil change and tire rotation. I was told they could not do tire rotation because of lugs different sizes and need to be replaced. The only company that has touched my tires in past year and half is jiffy lube in paso. They installed new tires and they have done all tire rotations. it does not make any sense why they could not do tire rotation. I told lady all of this and she did not seem to care. I was told that my service fee to install 2 oil filters was $13 total for 2 of them. So they ordered the 2 filters. They called me and said come in so we can install the filters. And they reiterated that I would have to pay $13. So I went in and they told me the cost to install was $14 each and that I owed $28. The guy in charge wouldn't even talk to me about it. This place just blows my mind. I finally went there the last time. I have taken my car here a few times and each time they disappoint. The last was the final! I think the only qualification to work here is you must be an idiot! My car has new tires, and they should know because I bought them there. The girl still asks me if I want to get new tires. Did she even look? Then you ask a question and all they do is huddle in the bay and visit and talk about what you just asked. I am pretty good at reading lips and wow! Even the manager drives in towards some employees super-fast to hit his breaks as a joke that he was going to run them over. Even the manager is an idiot! I think that is why he hired idiots...now it makes sense. Avoid this location if you can. The two girls that do work there are not very nice. And I try to be nice to hope to rub some kindness off, but nope! I have to remember they are idiots, and this is why! Owner, you have a group of bad apples here. Went to get an oil change at this place. I didn't use the truck only on the weekend. Once I moved my truck I see a bunch of oil spilled on my driveway. Brand new truck with no issue. Went to speak to Jose and he whipped away the evidence of oil leaking. All he could say is I'm wrong there's nothing wrong with my truck. I wake up this morning and there's even more oil on my driveway and my valves are making noises as if it is low on oil. I will be filing a law suite against Jose and jiffy lube for the poor quality of work. My Senior Citizen mom parked in a no parking zone in the parking lot and went into Kennedy Club to Swim. They towed her car then did not help her track down her vehicle. She had no purse, No Phone, and No car. Being from Atascadero she was stuck and scared. She asked for a ride to her car and was told by the employees that they could not give her a ride as they were too busy. So unbelievable that an organization or person for that matter did not help. Charged for services they cannot perform on "Asian" vehicles but still dull price. Can't vacuum car for COVID or do windows. Don't have proper fluids for "Asian" vehicles ... coolant and other fluids. Out of fluids for "Asian" vehicles. I have a Toyota Camry. It's not an exotic car. Very vanilla and common. So why did I go here and pay full price? So my service was 1/3 less than it should have been but they charged me full price. Got my oil change at this location a couple months ago. Everything seemed fine at the time although it was very overpriced. Got in and out pretty quickly. Today I am getting my oil changed again at the place I usually go and they told me and showed men that when I last got my oil changed they didn't completely tighten the oil filter. So now the undercarriage is covered in oil and I was told is was 2 quarts low because of this. I would not recommend this location. I hope management see this and the employees know that it is better to complete the job then get the customers out a few minutes early. read more

I got right in. I asked them to check and top off all my fluids and do an oil change. They were very quick. Very polite staff. I was told to wait in the lobby which looked dirty and unkept so I didn't want to sit anywhere. I watched them work on my car and as they were almost finished, one staff member actually checked my coolant and told the other staff member that it was low. So he obviously forgot to check that but he filled it up. Then I paid and they said we didn't clean the windows because of the rain coming soon. Which is fine. But then they said they vacuumed the car and I never saw that. When I got back into my car, it was obviously not vacuumed. So it was good up until that lie. And when you lie to a customer, that takes a lot of integrity points off. Because what else are they lying about??? read more

Quick and easy oil change. They do try to up sell other things but I declined. $96 for synthetic oil change but I had to get it done. They give you a checklist of what they supposedly do and vacuum was on that list. Sad to say they failed as my mats looked exactly the same as before, dirty. read more

Stopped in for an oil change. Staff was very friendly and adequately efficient. But, as I anticipated, the diagnosis's and upcharges began with a "needed" repair costing $1500. After saying thank you but no to the repair, I left and immediately took my truck to a actual repair shop where they found nothing needed. I believe Jiffy Lube should stick to their specialty and leave repairs and diagnosis's to others. read more
