I called them on a Wednesday afternoon asking about how free they were and how long an Oil Change (~$75) would take. They answered immediately, Upon arrival I was immediately checked in and they confirmed the price of the oil change before completing any work. They did also find that my battery needed to be replaced which was fair as you could see the salt crystals on its exterior + it was around the time to replace it. They told me they only tested it because of the visible crystallization on the exterior which I felt was very honest service of them. This was ~$210 for the battery + ~$65 for labor. They did also note that the part of the oil tank at the bottom had lost some of its whirls and didn't try to upsell me, instead let me know about the issue and how they would be working around it to change the oil. They actually managed to replace it for free! I would definitely recommend this Jiffy Lube location. read more

I was sick and needed help with air in a tire - they said they would help but after 15 mins plus waiting they just kept taking in more and more oil changes with employees strolling past me - this is why I go out of my way to other locations - I tip too - oh well read more

I do not recommend. Our daughter could have died driving to SC. We have a report from another Jiffy Lube showing the egregious errors made while doing her car. The manger only offered a free oil change...so I guess she would of had to die or get injured in order for them to do right...right along with suing them. Waited for an hour and then they serviced the person behind me before me! The "manager" said he would service my car "momentarily"... 10 minutes later my car was still sitting outside. I had to run so I just left. The waiting room was warm and had many complaining customers who all were waiting too long. I am shocked that there are not more negative reviews about a place that was so slow to do basic oil changes. Only go here if you have a lot of time to kill - BE FOREWARNED :) read more

Excellent service from the guys here. Everyone was friendly and personable and the whole place was organized and clean. One star off for the dirty fabric on the waiting room chairs. Very very veteran friendly so I got a discount. Had to produce discharge docs. Loved my experience here. Was better than the last many years ago when someone didn't replace my filter. They were super efficient this go round. The main thing that I hate is the flagrant upsells here. Where they call you out to the bay and tell you that you need filters and windshield wipers and other crap that you can replace yourself. So one star off for that. read more

They charged 54 dollars for a 10 dollar cabin filter which they installed incorrectly. It was vibrating when the air was on and had to be readjusted. Yeahhh never go here.. they are pushy and clearly don't look out for their customers. read more

Seriously. I've had my oil changed at this "we employ veterans " Jiffy Lube location for at least 10 years, and they've always honored a veteran's 10% discount for me. Today marks my last oil change with them because they demanded to see my ID card. From my 1992 discharge. They said they have no record of my discharge papers which they scanned into their system years ago. All my previous receipts showing past discounts weren't good enough. By the time I realized I actually had a copy of my DD213 on my phone, they said they could do nothing because the payment had already processed. First rate experience. I showed up on Saturday afternoon for an oil change; they had me finished and out the door in 20 minutes. Very professional; they have their drill down to "t". They found a cabin filter that needed changing; no pressure but very thorough - I would never have thought to check for that filter and appreciated that they caught it. I would never come back to the Pikesville Jiffy Lube and I wouldn't advise you to go there either. I brought my truck in for an oil change this morning and watched their 'tech' splash oil onto my engine, not into my engine. A lot of oil! Keith, 'the tech' opened quart cans of oil and carelessly poured them thru his funnel as if he was a bartender serving drinks. I no longer trusted Keith to work on my truck but there was nothing I could do. When I 'politely' told Keith to be more careful pouring he became extremely aggressive, yelling at everyone in the shop and pointing his finger into my face. His co-worker had to pull him outside because he lost his temper and was about to punch anyone that was near him. It is important for businesses that service vehicles to have their employees treat customer's vehicles as if they were their own. And it is more important for businesses that service vehicles to have their employees treat customers with respect no matter what! I've been taking my car here for several years and am always happy with the service I receive. Every time I go I'm impressed with their efficiency and professionalism...qualities you don't often see in the autocare industry. I don't feel like they are trying to upsell you every time you go in and they maintain your information between visits, so they know you and your car if you take it there regularly. Also, there doesn't seem to be a lot of turnover in their staff, which likely says a lot about their management and owner. I'd highly recommend this Jiffy Lube! read more

Need a quick oil change? Sure, it's a good place for that. They tell you that you need new brakes? Go somewhere else. Got my oil change done there this morning. It was great. In and out in no time but they said I needed new brakes. They showed me the brake with the gage they use. Had a buddy help me change them this afternoon and it turns out I actually didn't need them. Didn't need them at all. Well maybe in another 10-15k miles. But not today. Thanks for trying to seal $150 from me. Can't wait to bring the old pads in and show them. read more

I am not one to rave about car servicing. But this jiffy lube has the nicest guys working there, they are so eager and helpful and explain everything and they are so fast! I live on the other side of the city and I've gone here 5-6 times. The service is always top notch. Usually in and out within 15-30 minutes for an oil change depending on how busy it is. On the busiest day I was out in half an hour. The mechanics are also helpful and up front. I won't get my oil changed anywhere else. read more

I use to be a dedicated customer here at jiffy lube until I found out they were trying to get over on me. One day I noticed my car constantly making screeching noises coming from my front tires. I went to jiffy lube to get it checked out because I've had my breaks changed with them before. Once I arrived, like always there was someone right there ready to provide me service. I told the employee what I was hearing and that I assumed it was my breaks causing the problem. They said they would take a look at it and had me wait in the lobby. After a few minutes I had an employee tell me that my breaks were worn out and needed to be replaced. I said ok, I would like to have that done. After a few more minutes a different employee who I later found out was a manager told me that my breaks were fine and they did not need to be replaced as of now but will possibly need to be replaced soon. I asked him what could be causing my car to make such a loud noise and he told me that it could be because of the break sensor. I then asked him if I have the front breaks changed would it stop my car from making that noise and he replied YES! I said great, if that is the reason for my car making that noise then I would like to have them replaced. After they replaced my breaks I noticed an employee take my car for a test run. When he came back he called me and said it was fixed and ready to go. I paid for the service and went on my way. As soon as I pulled out of the lot and hit the breaks, i noticed that the loud screeching sound was still there so I went back and told them that I still had the problem. One of the employees told me to hold tight and he will get someone to sit in the car with me so I can show them what I'm talking about. The employee came in the car with me and I drove off. He immediately heard the noise and seen an ABS light pop up on my dash. Once he seen that he said "yeah you might have to go to a mechanic for this problem". When we pulled back up to jiffy lube the employee got out and another employee told me not to go anywhere. At this point I was starting to feel like they could not fix the problem that I had and I already paid them $190 for some breaks that didnt get rid of the problem. I left jiffy lube and went to another mechanic to get my work done. When the mechanic took the breaks off that jiffy lube had put on they noticed that my breaks were very sticky. The reason why they were so sticky was because jiffy lube attempted to hide the squeaky sound by spraying my breaks in hope that it would stop the noise. I attempted to call juffy lube back and get a refund for the breaks they put on my vehicle. I spoke with the manager and he was surprisingly very rude to me saying "I told you not to change your breaks in the first place" but he didnt recall me asking him "if I got new breaks would it stop the noises coming from my car". He said he will not refund me because I got my breaks removed from another mechanic and when I asked for the number to corporate he told me I can look for it myself. I will admit I'm not the best when it comes to identifying problems with my car but I put my trust and hope they would fix it or at least guide me in the right direction if they couldn't fix it. They stripped my oil filter cap and I needed to purchase a new one at the next oil change. More importantly, they overfilled the oil, which is NEVER good for your engine. read more
