My truck is my baby and like my dog, I don't trust her well-being to just anybody. Besides, we all know, most mechanics will shyster a female more often than not. I went to Yelp and found Freedom Automotive. The reviews were very favorable and the word "honest" was used A LOT! Brought my truck in and they looked at it. The power steering was leaking fluid, so they cleaned it up and really couldn't tell where the leak was coming from. Jose ordered the parts and I brought her back the next morning for repair. Do you know, these guys cleaned it up again, took it apart, found the leak was a loose hose, tightened it and then called to let me know just what exactly it was!! Didn't pull a fast one and tell me I had to have a new gear case or new hoses or both. Just called me, said it was a loose hose that they tightened and only charged me for labor. WHO IS THAT HONEST ANY MORE?!!? I am beyond grateful for Freedom Automotive. If God has a special place in Heaven for honest mechanics, Jose and everyone at Freedom Automotive have a golden seat. I provide a new 5-quart jug of oil and I get a little back as my engine takes four quarts. This time, I saw the young man pour the entire jug into my engine then toss (like end-over-end) the empty plastic jug in the trash. He shows me the dipstick, which looked OK after starting the car. But I was suspicious. The car's never required 5 quarts before. In the morning, with a cold engine, I popped the hood & pulled the dipstick. Sure enough -- over full. Took a crappy picture with my cellphone but it's obvious.

So I walked down the way to Firestone, talked to a nice young guy and five minutes later he was walking back to my car with the portable jumper pack and got the car started, and he suggested maybe I'll should bring it over there to test it the battery. I suggested possibly a battery problem or maybe even it was an alternator. So I drove it next-door to the firestone . He plugged in his machine underneath the dash to get the readouts and yes it was the battery. So in 30 to 45 minutes I had a new battery installed it was decent it was around $200 which is probably a standard price and I wasn't left stranded. Nice Guy I don't recall his name but very glad I went in there. Service is good there!

Called last night (Saturday) to double check the hours, good thing because they they were closed…read morelike 4 hours early.. called again this morning to make sure they were open until 8pm and they told me to call back 1-2 hours prior to service to make sure a mechanic was there. Apparently they close early often. The auto cashier said they close early due to understaffing but I'm confused why they let their mechanics leave early then? Moving on, I called at 5 to say I'd be there at 6. She told me I had to come NOW if I wanted an oil change. I left my shift early and headed straight there and arrived ten minutes later. Upon arrival, I almost pulled into the garage but KEVIN was FLAILING his arms at me in a jumping jack form like it was absurd of me to pull in which is literally what you do at every car shop.. maybe Kevin should put up some signs to not pull in before he hurts himself. Cashier was nice and told me it would take less than an hour and I ended up being there for almost two hours!!!!! Therefore I was MEGA LATE for Dinner reservations due to the young mechanic struggling on every step because they let the experienced mechanic leave early. After, they pulled my car back to the front of the garage which was annoying to reverse next to all the cones when I could've just pulled out of the DAMN garage. One star.

I was truly disappointed I'm this place, mostly the uncaring kids that work there. Six days after…read moremy car was towed there (including the weekend, to be fair) I stopped in to take a picture of the codes necessary for the correct part. Kraig was good to tell me them over the phone the day before, but it sounded like he said it was a PCM, when in fact, it was a BCM. Wish he would've been more clear, but not a big deal. When we were walking out there, we noticed the right rear tire was flat, even though my car was towed there & was a-ok at that point. Kraig stated it must be a slow leak; wasn't like that a couple of days ago. This was a Tuesday, yet they're closed on weekends (??). In checking out the tire, he then said it was getting low in 3 hrs. Be that as it may, When I picked up the car after it was done, immediately I saw big white scratches on my rear bumper that was not there before. Went in to inform Kraig & while we were looking at it, I then noticed a smaller mark on the front bumper, which was completely repainted just a few months beforehand & was also fine when it was towed there! He tried to downplay it & said he'd get ahold of the owner. In the meantime, I received photos from the tow truck company proving it was fine upon arrival there, yet Kraig said the owner was only willing to pay for the back bumper! Thankfully I disputed the charges with the AMEX (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED), so then he caved in & paid for both bumpers. I later found out they will actually use a quad runner ATV to push in and out cars if necessary!! The tire was suspicious since it happened well into their possession, but I let it go since I wanted nothing else than to move on & put this behind us. If all this wasn't enough, they didn't even have the courtesy to use a paper floor mat, so my car was rather filthy especially on the driver side. Unless you want your car treated like this folks, there are places very close by (Ewerts Automotive, Art's automotive) that treat their customer's cars with more respect & are much more reasonable. Low integrity automotive charges approx $185/hr, which is comparable to dealers!!

Integrity asked us to bring it in immediately. Upon inspection, the car had blown a gasket. Integrity is fixing this for us for free today. After all that we've been through this week with my daughter being in a car accident and the secondary emergency for a pre-existing condition, I cannot emphasize what a blessing this is.
