When you pull up to get your oil change done and there's six workers in the bay vaping on their pens, chitchat and laughing joking around two cars that are there that they're barely working on and then tell you there's gonna be a few minutes late. OK no problem but then when I see you not working on the vehicles that are in there and you're laughing and you're continuously vaping and putting it in and out of your pockets and joking around punching each other in the arms and things I do not have time for this I do not have the patience for this and I do not have the gas to keep waiting grow up, be professional, and earn your money correctly. Two young men deserve a pat on the back, even a raise! I was amazed today at this particular Jiffy Lube. This was a first time event for me. Here was a service company, that told me my "oil didn't need to be changed"!!! The oil was crystal clear, and the level was perfect. This young man (Sorry I didn't catch his name) asked me if I was sure the oil hadn't already been changed. He even was willing to show me the dip stick, which showed the synthetic oil was clear and the level accurate. The 2nd young man, showed the Toyota Tundra air filter, which had so little dirt, that I could hold off from changing until the next service. I gave each young man a tip and thanked them for their honesty. Rarely have I celebrated a gen "Z" for being honest servant leaders. Being an old baby-boomer myself, I was pleasantly humbled by their kindness and amazed by their honesty. I was blessed to be reminded that there are still great kids out there, even at Jiffy Lube. read more

First off, "Jiffy" is a misnomer. My 5 minute oil change, with no one in front of me, took 35 minutes. They quoted me a price, but when it came time to pay the price was higher. The ever helpful guy in charge responded to my dismay with, "yeah, sorry about that." I was then told the extra charge was for the filter something that was included in the price in every other oil change I've had in 50+ years of driving Go somewhere else. I will. read more

These folks did a terrible job on my oil change. At first they thought that I had a check engine light on and offered to diagnose for me. Since I had just driven in I knew I did not and debated with them. They went away in a huff and 15 minutes later advised me that it was a misunderstanding with their "check list"! Yeah right!! Never am I'm sorry! In addition much later (2-3 weeks) I found oil spots in my pristine garage that I never had before as my vehicle NEVER a leaked oil. I finally got it up on my own portable ramps today and what I found shocked me; the leak seemed to be coming from the oil pan drain bolt. I put my 1/2 ratchet on it to find that it tightened a full 2 turns with zero effort! This bolt was barely hand tightened and nothing more! I am so happy I did not go on any major trips to have the bolt intimately vibrate out and have all my oil out gush out and seize my engine! This was the first and last time I go there. I will go back to the other place I used previously even though it is 15 miles away. Well worth it not to be scammed or have my engine destroyed! I hardly ever say this but I WILL NEVER GO BACK! Go at your own risk! I have attached pictures of the leak on the ground after I put paper to isolate where it was coming from and a picture of the bolt AFTER I tightened and cleaned the area! Update; Jiffy lube contacted me via yelp but apparently did not read my review carefully. They picture of the drain pan bolt I took was AFTER I tightened it and cleaned it. Wish I had the forethought to take it before but I did not. All I have is my word that the oil was coming in small drip from around the bolt and that I had to tighten it two full rotations with my ratchet. It's been 24 hours and no new stains on my floor!!!!I am NOT looking for anything from Jiffy Lube so I have no reason to say anything that is not accurate! read more

I had an oil change on the car and they did not put the oil plug back in correctly. Needless to say, we took our car to Walt's garage(they are the BEST at Walt's), and we were told that if the car had been driven much further the engine would have blown. so we paid for the repairs at Walt's and asked Jiffy Lube to reimburse for the oil change. NOTHING!! Don't go there unless you are ok with having your car destroyed and paying them to destroy it. read more

So I decided to change my oil myself which I normally do but I was in a rush and I would let Jiffy Lube do it since they did it on my last oil change. This was the first time I visited this Jiffy Lube here in Punta Gorda and, most likely, my last visit. Not that they didn't do what I paid for but that the quality of service was lacking. I was the only vehicle in the shop and there were 3 men working at the time. All they did was do the oil change. Didn't check the air filter or any of the fluids as the competition does. The one fellow who's only job was to "clean the windows" only smeared the dirt and dust all around resulting in the clarity ending up worse than when I arrived. I found out during check out that a standard function of their "service" was to vacuum the floors which was not even offered. Seems like management is uninspired and uninterested in training or providing any extra service. I will look elsewhere next time! read more

Called ahead for a price on a 5 qt. conventional oil change and was told it would be $49.00. I also told them i had a $15 off coupon and was told no problem come on down and i did. When i arrived man bun came bouncing down to my truck and informed me the 5qt. conventional oil change would be more like $89.00. I asked why. Man bun said additional oil, at which time i assured him my 4.3 engine only used 5 qts. Man bun then regrouped and started telling me that there would also be an additional charge for the filter and filter gasket and i could come inside and watch him add it up on his computer if i wanted to. I drove off and went directly to WM where the same oil change is $32.00 with no B.S. up-charges for a filter and gasket. Unbelievable. read more

They seem to be overpriced, especially for anything other than the basic oil change. The girl handling the desk told me that I had to pay for the oil filter in addition to what I was quoted when I asked why the price was higher than what was quoted. They were suppose to rotate my tires, but after waiting for an hour, they didn't have anyone who could do it. I forgot a glass, so tried to call to tell them to hold it. I have been going to this Jiffy Lube in Punta Gorda for 2 years now, the service has been ok, mostly low-energetic gentlemen running the front desk, who seemed to know what they were talking about, but just recently they hired a new girl to run the front desk, Sara, who was extremely nice, fast and energetic. She was confident in what she was talking about, no pressure on the upsell and made the experience a lot greater then my previous ones. I ended up spending more money then I used to but ended up leaving more confident in the service that my car received. Great experience ! read more

We were escorted into the lounge where we met Sara who offered to make us a fresh pot of coffee. She let us know our options and wasn't pushy with the upsell. Don't take your car or truck here, they charge a ton of money and do as little as possible. The last two trips, (which will be my last two trips) I've made to this shop I requested a tire rotate, the first time I was advised the tires didn't require rotation, the second time I was then advised they didn't recommend a tire rotation because the truck needed an alignment, (that ole gag). On the receipt it indicated that the air pressure was checked, which was false. I checked the air pressure when I got home and every tire had less than the required amount. Basically was charged over hundred dollars for excuses, lies and bad service. read more

Wonderful experience this morning. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. During the courtesy check it was discovered I could use some coolant, an air filter replacement, and I had a burned out license plate light. I was relieved to be able to handle all in the same visit. How about NO STARS! I was charged $108.96 for the same oil change I paid $67.19 for last year at the same place for the same vehicle. That is a $41.77 price increase. The manager that was there last year and is still there did not inform me of the huge price increase nor was there any visual posting of pricing. Awful, expensive, slow will not go back and will let everyone I know know about my experience. The first time I went I had a poor experience and didn't go back for a long time. Saw the new building and though I would give it a try, bad choice. Thought well maybe it is just me sent my wife and daughter there with a $20 coupon I received in my email and I was right they were there over an hour moved her car so another person could go in front of them, not because they made an appointment or anything, because they thought they were next.... hmm there is a line of cars how does that work? Great place to go if you're looking to get a oil change fast and without all the BS they did a great job

To make a long story short, my car has been in and out of this shop starting January 31, due to and engine light being on. First fix ... said wire needed replacement . Drove a couple of weeks, engine light on , brought back. Said wire came loose needed to be crimped. Went out car died 1 mile from home same day. Had towed again. I was told fuel pump needed. Two days later , Saturday, get my car back and drive home . Get ready to go out that evening, same problem. Went online , researching problems and found a reputable automotive shop near me. Car was towed there Monday. Engine light back on. The results of what he found and will attest to are scary . Loose wires under the back seat . The 2009 Lucerne has the battery , etc located in the back. 30 fuse in 20 slot. Fuse box had melted spot ( I have the box) water pump leaking. The concern here is , why would someone who is supposedly a certified mechanic miss these or worse yet , see them and not bring them to th customers attention. This was a major disaster waiting to happen . There used to be true mechanics here who showed you the problems and let you know the alternatives and if they could do it or not These good local guys are gone . Needless to say I will no longer be a customer . Regardless of if they could fix it or not , I would have accepted an honest answer , which I never received.
