I went in for an oil change. They tried to upsell services that I did not want. Showed me 2 filters that I agreed to replace. One of these was the air intake filter. They did not properly connect the air intake tube and left the wire connected to that tube unplugged. Immediately had the check engine light warning on the dashboard. I have a few complaints about my service from the beginning of August. Below is the exact complaint I filed with them the night of my service (Still waiting to hear back). If I could give them negative stars I would. I left about an hour and a half ago and told to come back tomorrow morning so the team could recalibrate my wiper blades. I was told I was fine to drive home and maybe drove for 5 minutes before my safety features like my antilock brake system, pre collision assist, and hill assist started going off saying they weren't working. Then, my entire dashboard zeroed out and I had no speedometer, mileage count, or blind spot detectors. I have photos of my dashboard (while parked to be safe) and the notifications from the FordPass App for the safety features not working. I also was made to feel uncomfortable by some male members of the staff. At one point I asked Roland how much more time my car was going to take. He asked how far I lived. He first offered to personally drive me and then pick me up when my car was ready. I said no and then he offered the ride-share option. I declined that as well and said I don't like to be in those alone as a woman. He replied that he could drive me and keep me safe to which I declined again and called my dad to get me. When I returned to get my car, Lando was trying to explain to me how tight it would be for 2 people to work in the bay on my struts at the same time and booty bumped into me which made me uncomfortable. When it was around 5:30 and he said they closed at 5 and I would need to come back tomorrow morning for them to recalibrate my wiper blades, I was very apprehensive about that and leaving with them not working if it rained. Lando said if it rained he would personally take me to dinner to make it up to me. As I paid he was asking me what kind of food I liked and then as I was leaving he said after they put on my other 2 tires on Monday he was going to plan a seafood date. Demetre said Lando needed to get my phone number. Lando said he would see me tomorrow and Monday. I am very upset that I have to return 2 more times for my service to be complete, I was left with a car that electronically was not safe to drive, and I was made very uncomfortable. read more

If only I could not give any stars. I took my car here after returning from vacation, it was not my regular location for an oil change. That was a BIG mistake. They changed my oil but did not secure the cap. My car leaked oil for weeks (without my knowledge) until my engine light came on as I attempted to get to work. My engine almost locked on me. At first, no one wanted to believe me until I sent the pictures of the spots where I park my car daily. The assistant manager (Ashley I believe) came to my house and fixed the problem in the rain, however there was NO refund offered for the original payment-even though the job was botched. This is the best Jiffy Lube I have ever been to. I usually hate and I mean hate going to mechanics of any kind. Today I had an issue the the under carriage of my vehicle and the fixed it easily and effectively. The gentlemen there were really helpful and respectful. They took me to a clean waiting area that had coffee, water, magazines and comfortable chairs. They got to fixed in no time which I was very grateful for. I used to go to this location. all of the time. On my last visit to this location, they told me I needed a cabin air filter that would take about an hour. After paying over $140 for it they were done in 10 minutes and I found out later from another mechanic that that particular vehicle does not even have an air filter!! I had an ignition coil replaced on my car yesterday. This morning my car was misfiring worse than before the coil was changed. I immediately pulled into The Jiffy Lube in Westminster because that was the closest place. They told me I needed a new ignition coil. I told them I just got it replaced the day before at The Jiffy Lube in Reisterstown. They told me I needed to take it back to Reisterstown and have them look at it because it is having issues. I went back to Reisterstown and Bruce absolutely refused to look at it. He said he replaced it like I asked and that he didn't care what Westminster said. He also said he would let his supervisor know that I was unhappy. So I paid $404.00 and the part should be under warranty. So how do I go about having the warranty honored if the shop is refusing to look at it and the another location says I have to go back to the place that installed it? My car is currently at another shop and I'm waiting for the repairs to be completed. Either Jiffy Lube should have at least pacified me and tested the part or they should have refunded my $404.00. Been here several times with my silverado and service was fine,So i decided to take my sons 1997 Powerstroke to them and called in advance to see if they could do it .Sean said no problum.So i took truck there for oil change only and advised Sean this truck takes 15 quarts and i dont care if its extra. He advised the tech and the tech argued with him that it takes 13.7 quarts. I advised Sean that is incorrect and to put 15 quarts in my truck.He would not do what i ask .So i told him this is bs now i have to go to auto zone and buy oil after paying $103 for an oil change.You have lost my bussiness on all of my vehicles due to your lack of customer satisfaction............ read more

I would like to see them update their equipment and services. The waiting area was clean but not well maintained (supplies missing, equipment not functioning). Comparing the services to similar providers, Jiffy Lube at this location was fast. I liked the convenience of not setting an appointment. Unfortunately, The cost to value was so very high, that I am not sure it offsets the convenience. Based upon the total cost for product and services, I would comparison shop before coming here unless you were in a rush. I will review my bill against other services in the area and if it turns out that I am being too harsh, I will revise. The staff at this jiffy lube were fast, professional, and polite. they have a system that is clearly working well for them. Everyone were great but Bruce gets all the praise from me because he went above and beyond. He ran the front desk and also worked on cars. Before taking my car in for the oil change, it had begun to overheat. I didn't mention this to him, I Just decided to get the oil change done and then go to a mechanic to see what the problem was. Bruce noticed that my radiator overflow hose was leaking and pointed it out to me. He suggested I purchase a hose, which turned out to be only $2.29 at AutoZone, and come back. He put on the new hose in all about 10 mins. He was honest and polite and saved me from paying a mechanic that probably wouldve gotten over on me. My car was running perfectly previous to my oil change at this location. After they changed my oil I noticed a leak. With the CVT transmission the loss of oil resulted in major damage to the transmission. Like I said, it was running perfect BEFORE it went here for an oil change, and as a result of their shoddy work, a significant repair bill AFTER they worked on my car. You get a little skeptical with the many auto shops around and if they do thorough, legit work. They definitely do here. I am usually not one to post negatives, but this is a little ridiculous. Oil change and tire rotation last Saturday. They broke a lug putting tire back on. It happens. Don't have the parts, bring it back tomorrow they say. Sunday I call to check. Still not parts, bring it back next Saturday. The earlier the better, it will take about 30 minutes. Show up at 8:20. It's going to be an hour or hour and a half (no line, just told me incorrectly). Well, I have a appointment at 9:30, so they say they will try. 20 minutes later they inform me the technician won't be in til 9! So I leave for my other appointment and come back at 10:20. I sit here at 12:20 and have been told no less than 3 times that it would be done in 20 minutes. Half and hour later it was 10 minutes. 25 minutes later it will be "literally 2 minutes." That was about 30 minutes ago. Car has been more or less sitting unattended that entire time. Look, things take time, but you have to set expectations accordingly, and stop making empty promises. I have basically been tied up for 4 hours to allow you to correct a mistake you made. Last week by the way. Oh, well they did offer me 20% off my next oil change, so I have that to look forward to. read more

I will give two stars ONLY bc the first time i came my visit was not HORRIBLE. that's why I went back. ..i won't do that again. I pull up and the first gentleman came asked what service i wanted, I told him..he then says (bc he saw me vaping) "awee momma you gots some juice i can get, im all out and im dyin here" (first off dont call me "momma" idk you, second where do you get off asking a customer such a question... UNPROFESSIONAL!) I mentioned something to the head tech and my concerns were pretty much dismissed with a "sry mame" only to be followed by seeing the two men laughing about it all...they thought i was sitting inside waiting, no i was just outside in front near the bay where my car was being serviced. I have just moved to the city and I was weary about going somewhere new. I pulled up because this was the closest location to our house and they greeted me with a smile and everyone said hello. I was in for a synthetic oil change and they did an awesome job for a reasonable price. I knew that I needed brakes replaced and Rodney just simply said that he wanted to make me aware that I needed a replacement but didn't push and gave me a price if I wanted to come back and get them done. Went to jiffy lube in reisterstown on 3/18 and today is 3/22 waiting for another jiffy lube to fix their mistakes. The oil leak caused me to be 3 qts low of oil and easily could have burnt out my engine. Not very cool read more

After I posted my earlier review, the owner contacted me. I explained my concerns to him, and gave him a pretty detailed explanation of how this $49 oil change ended up costing me almost $1200. He responded again, and I have to say, he was very reasonable: "I would like to offer you the $278.38 requested to cover 40% of tire cost as well as the $150 for the valve stem for a total of $428.38. Please let me know if you think this is fair and if so, confirm who you would like the check written to and what address to send it to. I don't expect to win you back as a customer, but hope that we can at least show you that we care. In the end it is up to me to ensure my employees are properly trained to spot potential hazards on our customer/s vehicles and either offer a repair or recommend to have it looked at elsewhere. " I am accepting his reasonable offer and his promise to ensure better training for staff to prevent potential safety hazards. I appreciate his attention to this and, more importantly, his commitment to improved quality. I guess then I would say they're okay to use, but watch carefully while your car is being serviced. read more

I pass other Jiffy Lube locations because this group of employees has the best customer service, and they are very well managed and mannered. I won't go to any other location, and I am a very happy customer. Whenever it is recommended that I do an additional service (clean fuel injector thing, change filters, new trans fluid, etc) I ask that they show me why I should do it now and not put it off for later (or even buy it somewhere cheaper). The crew has always been very upfront with me on their recommendations, and I appreciate the honesty above all else. I don't feel scammed here like I do most other car shops. read more

They forgot to reset the computer to 5000 instead of 3000 miles. So they topped my fluids and cleaned my car. This started out as a very positive experience. The employees were friendly and said "We don't try to sell you things at this Jiffy Lube." They told me that my rear brake pads were so bad that driving on them would certainly lead to damaging the rotors. I had all of my brakes replaced in the last year, so this seemed odd but I was grateful that they had spotted something potentially costly that could be prevented. I had my car savvy friend volunteer to change the pads for me, and it turns out there was nothing wrong with any of the pads. They totally tried to swindle me. They had offered to do it for $180. Worst experience I have ever had with an oil change. First I was yelled at by Andre because I changed my mind from synthetic oil change to a synthetic blend. Andre then tells me my coolant is low and it will be a total cost of $130. I can let you know that my coolant was still at a level that was perfectly acceptable. I have a 2016 Nissan Rogue that gets serviced every 15,000 miles. He then tells me that if I get the coolant and oil change he will take 10 dollars off for each of them. I tell him that I will get the oil change only. I then get to the counter and he questioned me about what the discount of my coupon was. I told him I would pull it up in 10 seconds ( he seemed very bothered by that). The coupon was only 5 dollars and he told me that if I got both only then would he apply the discount. However, the jiffy lube homepage has an oil change discount for 10 dollars. I then told Andre that he should learn to speak to people less condescendingly. He told me that I should as well. Left pretty annoyed and also concerned with my car. The fact that a hot head like Andre can speak to me in that manner and conduct business like that After I left I had a certified mechanic look at my vehicle and assured me the coolant as well as the brake fluid were perfectly fine (which I thought they were.) I will never return my car here and will do everything in my power to ensure this does not happen to future customers. read more

And the staff was very friendly and professional. They even cleaned my car while they gave me an oil change... Which by the way only took 20 minutes! This has got to be the easiest and smartest way to keep your car running for as long as possible, oil, oil filter, cabin filter, tire pressure, and my favorite vacuuming the inside of my filthy rugs as i get dirt and debris in there in between oil changes. The only thing that could get better is if they did car washes and wheel washes. I only get oil changes, once every 3 1/2 to 4 months here, but I go because it is more convenient than doing it myself, plus i get free coffee while I am there. like i said, i have to say i love that they vacuum my car out because I never do that and it's always nice and clean after i get an oil change. Not to mention when i fill my gas up after an oil change you can tell the difference in the way the car runs. Anyways, everyone there is always polite to me and we usually end up talking about something random if it is not football. I pay to not worry about things. I haven't bought windshield washer for years because of jiffy lube, and i have gone back to have fluids topped off before and have had no problems there. I have done a radiator flush and one transmission flush and my car runs great, it's a 2003, and i hope it lasts me for a couple more years at least. read more

Okay, I have gone to this jiffy Lube twice since moving to the reisterstown area. After this last visit I have decided to start going back to the Westminster location. The first time I went to this location they messed up the thread on my drain nut and now my vehicle leaks oil. So I brought it back like two days offer my oil change. They refused to take responsibility for my issue and charged me to replace the plug and refill my oil. It still kept leaking. So I went back and asked for a topoff because they offer it and now my oil is leaking. The people working there got all up set and sarcastically gave me half a quart of oil. For my vehicle a half a quart is like a shot. So I limped along until my next 4,000 mile oil change adding oil myself once a week. I went back there and this trip is what really earned them a one star review. I came in and the guy greeted me at my vehicle and walked me inside. In the waiting room was every employee of this location standing around the tv upset as if it were September 11,2001. The guy who walked me in asked what was going on as I quietly took a seat. One of the other employees turned to him and said, "the cops just murdered another N*****!" I am not a racist and I really try not to get caught up in racial issues now a days but for the sake of the story I need to say this. I am white and all the guys working at this jiffy Lube location are black. I have no problem with it I have many black friends. That said, the group must not have known I was in the room because what they said next really made me want to leave. One of them turned towards the group and said, "you see, this is why when the race war happens we need to take out the F***ing cops first! Then all the F***ing white people!" The group all said yeah as they all looked at each other. For the next couple seconds the group seemed to belt out any racial slur they could think of. "F***ing crackas, f*** da police, I hate white people." So I did what most people in my position would do. I pulled out my cell phone and pretended the game I was playing made me not aware of the truly horrible stuff they were saying. They changed my oil. They decided to make my sticker say 8,000 miles instead of what I have done for the past 11 years with this vehicle I always do 4,000 mile oil changes. Also my oil is still leaking threw the plug they put in. I will never go here again.. read more

There are so many reasons why I have been a customer of this Jiffy Lube location for 15 years. My most recent visit today prompted me to leave a review and share my experience as it's consistent with every time I've been there in the last decade and a half. First and foremost, the staff are professional, personable, knowledgeable, and always look out for their customers. They're fast and efficient and that's the standard for them. It's not contingent upon what day or time you get there or who happens to be working that day. Other places will try to push services that aren't necessary, overpriced, and usually benefit the business and their bottom line even at the expense of the customer. Not here. I've never questioned the quality of work being done as I (and other people I know) have at other locations. Andre specifically deserves recognition for being a stellar representation of that business however the other staff there are equally and notably as awesome. While it wasn't busy at the time of my service, they were so quick that I didn't have time to find my coupon before they called me up to check out. Andre noticed I was trying to find said coupon and spared me the search as he already applied a coupon to my service. I can't say enough about this location and these guys. Not having to deal with the typical nonsense usually associated with being young and female at a service center is everything. Being treated with respect in a friendly, neighborly way, by true professionals who don't mess with your time, money, and vehicle is everything. I wish they were the rule and not the exception. I am a customer for life at this location even though I've since moved and it's a hike to get here, I try to maintain exclusivity if I can help it. Thanks guys, you rule. read more
