Brooks Huff totaled my car from a simple oil change. It would not be a big deal if my expenses were covered, but their insurance is refusing to cover all of the expenses and Brooks Huff (Todd himself) have ignored my requests for payment. I'm down several thousands of dollars from this. Brooks Huff even refused to reimburse the $141 oil change charge, then their insurance, Erie Insurance, refused to reimburse the charge as well, so I filed a chargeback with my credit card company. Brooks Huff literally fought the chargeback request and attempted to get it denied so I couldn't get reimbursed. That's the kind of company that Brooks Huff is. Keep that in mind when you trust them to not total your vehicle during routine maintenance. read more

When looking for tires you want to trust the place you go to. As a chronic cynic, trust requires answers that can clearly be shown, or answers I want to hear. So, this place has nice people. I asked if I needed tires and the answer was yes, at least two, you can do on the other 2 for some months. And yes to front breaks but no need for new back breaks. I purchased tires for my 2022 Rivian R1T truck from Brooks-Huff and all was good. I called up and made an appointment for a tire rotation, and specifically asked if they could handle a Rivian. They said no problem, do it all the time. However, when I brought the truck in, they did not have four pucks to get the truck on a lift and could NOT do the tire rotation as promised. I'm so thankful for these guys! My tire warning light came on during a drive from PA to VA. I pulled off at the closest exit, which, thankfully brought me to Brooks-Huff Tire & Auto Center in Hunt Valley. They checked all my tires and concluded that a couple of the in-tire sensors were low on batteries, giving a false signal. The gentleman who helped me even took the time to show me an example of the sensor as well as the device they use to detect them. No repairs were required and they sent me on my way...... free of charge! As a single woman, who knows enough about cars to be dangerous, I can be a bit skeptical about the honesty of some auto repair places. So, their honesty and kindness were doubly appreciated! I took my car into them because I had a screw in my tire that was causing it to go flat. The gentleman at the front cpunter was extremely helpful and was able to figure out what I needed to get done. They did try to patch my tire but unfortunately it couldn't be done because of the placement of the hole. Even though they took my tire off and put on my spare tire, I wasn't charged for there help or time. I absolutely will be going back for any further issues I have as they were very knowledgeable and had a great experience overall. They even were kind enough to give my 4 year old son a doughnut and let him play with their toy cars while we waited. read more

I recently took my car to Brooks-Huff Tire & Auto Centers to get new tires, an alignment and an oil change. I requested that they check for any other issues with my car. After I picked up my car from their shop, I found that my car sometimes pulls to the right when braking and that the noise from the front of the car is still there. They indicated that they had test drove the car but did not indicate any issues with the car during the test drive. About a week later, I took my car into their shop again and complained to them about the two issues I noticed after I had the new tires installed. They indicated that they test drove the car and that my brake sliders were bad and needed a complete brake job done with new pads, calipers, and rotors. Also, they said that one of the bearings were bad. They quoted the total cost to be $1721.28 to fix. I am upset at their failure to indicate significant issues that would show in a test drive after installing new tires and the ripoff price of the repairs. I got a second opinion on the repair cost which was about $850. This place reeks of a ripoff! read more

I think I will be indebted to these guys for a long time. While I was driving my 2001 Jeep Cherokee back to Virginia from Pennsylvania, my check engine light started flashing--no just on--flashing. Eventually, I made my way to Brooks-Huff. They could have gotten me to agree to just about anything, as I told them I had to get home that evening. Instead of taking advantage, they had their Jeep expert take a look at it and explain the computer was showing that cylinder #5 had been missing. They couldn't replicate the problem (it wasn't missing while at the garage), but rather than take my whole engine apart they looked for the most likely problem. I ended up paying for labor an a new sparkplug, while they could have also told me I needed new fuel injectors or coils. Two hours later, I was back on the road with my car running as well as it has in the past few years. read more

Horrible. No pathetic is better. I brought a tire to them for repair. Simple nail in center. When I got the tire 24 hours later, I went to check the pressure. The cap blew off when I unscrewed it. They didn't have a core in the valve stem! How they managed to get air in it i don't know. As a DIY, I had spare cores and the tool to insert them. No call it was ready either. Thank God I didn't bring them my car! I'll never go to them again. read more

I have taken my car in twice now, to have them look at an estimate I had received to make sure what repairs were needed, were valid. Every single person there is so courteous and respectful, and their work is impeccable. If anyone ever needs auto repair, their oil changed or their tires rotated, this place is the only place to go. read more

I guess they don't like people who use Groupon's but if that were the case then they shouldn't offer Groupons . FinePrint on the Groupon is I had to make an appointment 24 hours before which I did for 11 AM. I arrive about 10 minutes early explain to them I have a Groupon. I'm just there for an oil change, 20 point inspection and tire rotation. I asked how long it will take he said about an hour. Then I'm told they're running a little late...... 2 1/2 hours later I'm getting my vehicle which I really think that they didn't even start until well after an hour I was there. After an hour and 15 minutes I was told they were still working on it. Whoever was at the front desk was condescending not very nice they certainly don't have enough time to laugh and joke up at the front desk for at least a half an hour. If he would've at least had the courtesy to tell me that they were running very late I could have simply opted to come back at another time. As it is now I'm never coming back and would never recommend that Brooks huff Goodyear to any one for anything..... not even to change the oil in my deep fryer!!!! read more

This is the best tire center I have ever been to! It is a family owned business with family owned values and service. Everyone who works there is polite and helpful. When I was waiting, the owner even came to the waiting room to greet and check on us. There is a free shuttle and they have complimentary donuts and coffee, which is a nice perk. Due to a sudden out-of-state family need, I needed an immediate oil change and tire rotation before embarking on the long drive. Called my the car dealership where I usually go for service but, couldn't get a quick appointment. Found a groupon for Brooks-Huff in Hunt Valley and decided to give it a try. They were courteous both on the phone while making the reservation and while at the facility, where attention and help for each customer's needs was readily seen. The waiting area was clean, had an array of fresh free snacks and drinks, and also had many NEW magazines to read (not years old like other places), in addition to television. It was suggested that I should also think about changing the air filter (I knew that it was about time to do this) and when they mentioned the cost, it was half of what the car dealership charges for using their no-name brands! So I spent a little more than the groupon but far less than what I would have paid at the dealership! When I left I was also pleasantly surprised to find that my car had been washed and dried!!! This place is a joke. I took my car here for the MD state inspection, which I was already hesitant on because they were the most exspensive in the area but because they are down the street from my work, I had to take convenience over price. My car failed with only two things that needed to be fixed, (front right torque motor mount, and return power steering hose had a leak). They gave me an estimate of almost $900, I am young (21 yrs old), I couldn't afford that. So, I called a few other garages to get an estimate on the job, every single place said "Typically the return hose can be sealed, and patched, not replaced completely" so, with that being said the job at almost every other garage was only $215-$350. So, I took it to Padonia Auto, SUPER NICE company and fair very fair in their pricing. I took it back to Brooks and Huff for the reinspection, I was told there would be a lift fee.. I asked why I was never told about this fee, that I was only told that it wouldn't cost anymore if it was within 1000 miles, and or 30 days whichever came first. The guy I was talking to seemed to care less that I was mislead on the cost. Sure it's only $35 but there was no communication beforehand. And to top it all off, their customer service over the phone sucks! I called yesterday with a couple questions, and before I could ask my second the guy hung up on me. NEVER NEVER again will I do any service with Brooks and Huff. Over priced, and awful customer service. Save your time and money, go else where. read more
