The manager tried to tell me that it was broken before hand which was false, then tried to get me to purchase and replace all 4 sensors due to all of the sensors "dying when one is replaced". I came in for a flat tire. Unfortunately couldn't patch the tire so had to buy a new one. They told me they ordered the one and it would be in a couple days. I left my rim and get a call that the new tire is mounted. I specifically asked if it was the exact same tire and size and was told yes. I rush over to get it mounted, I pay for the tire, then come to find out there is no tech there to mount it and of course the tire is the entirely wrong model. Not even close. I have been a customer here for decades, tires & oil changes for all 3 of our cars! They are just going downhill fast. We were not happy with the last time we were here but we thought that we would give them a 2nd chance. This time we went in with the reminder for an oil change for $74.99 which includes a Free Tire Rotation. When I was told the price it was now 119.65 which had 29.99 added for a 4 wheel balance. I said that I buy my tires here with the protection and I was under the impression that that is covered. I was then told that the $29.99 was removed and so was the balancing. When I came to pick up the car I wanted to confirm "We did an oil change AND the tires were rotated"? The response was "Did you ask to have the tires rotated"? I said that we discussed it and that it was in the paperwork that I walked in with! I was then told that if I did not specifically ask for the tire rotation that they would not have done it!!!! The circular I walked in with said FREE Tire Rotation with EVERY Oil Change!!! FEELS LIKE A LITTLE "BAIT & SWITCH"!!!! Do NOT trust the service at this location. I purchased 4 tires. After I picked up the car, I saw that the psi was wrong on all four tires. No big deal. Then, the next day, a warning message appeared saying that my Tire Pressure Monitor had malfunctioned. I took it to my dealership. They discovered that the monitor was actually snapped in half and rolling around inside my tire, and that a lug nut was missing from one of the tires and another had been stripped. ($500 for the fix!). I went back to Mr Tire and the manager said that they clearly owed me something, but that he had to call his district manager. Days go by. I called back and he said he had misplaced my phone number, and the district manager would not give me any compensation because they couldn't verify when the damage took place. I asked for the district manager's phone number and was told that he wouldn't give me the number that I should call customer service. That phone number is the corporate 800 number with no customer service option. I have never deal with a company that is as incompetent and unconcerned with customers as this one. I recently went to Mr. Tire in Reisterstown, MD to take advantage of a tire special. At the time all four tires were replaced I was told I needed rear brakes. It was more than I expected to spend but I agreed to the repairs in the interest of safety. A few days later, I noticed a rather loud thump coming from the rear of my car as I passed over small and large bumps in the road. I took the car back to Mr. Tire and explained the symptoms and was told it was a suspension issue and was referred to Monroe in Reisterstown. After inspection at Monroe, I was told the thumping issue was due to misaligned torque when the rear brakes were replaced. I was also told it was a potential safety issue. Thankfully, Monroe made the correct adjustments and the car is riding fine. I'm very disappointed with the quality of work done on my brakes and cannot recommend Mr. Tire to work on anything beyond oil changes and possibly tire repairs and replacement. read more

Had my car towed here last after two deer ran out in front of me. Drove into a ditch and tore open my two right sided tires. Showed up this morning at 08:01 and Eric and Arno were already slammed with business. Eric was very polite and professional. I was about to ask about checking the alignment since I figured there was damage. Eric told me they would check, and make the repairs if needed but assured me they wouldn't do anything that wasn't needed. Arno busted his a$$ getting my car done. The phone didn't stop ringing the entire time I was here and there was a steady stream of people coming in and out WOW all morning. Huge props to these two guys. Diamonte, Harry, and Charlie were so helpful! I had come in for an oil change, alignment, and transmission fluid change, and the next day I realized a pin had come out of the bumper. I went back to Mr Tire and they took full responsibility with no questions asked. They fixed it in less than a week, the day the part came in they called to set up an appointment. It was completely free! And it took less than 15 minutes. Additionally when I came in for an oil change in November, Harry gave me my oil change for free, since I had a $10 off coupon and signed up for the credit card. They also do my tires anytime I need it for free. I highly recommend this location, they make you feel like family! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would! I pre-ordered a tire and was told that it would be in the next day. Days later I received a call saying it had arrived. After sitting in the waiting area for 2 hours I was told that the tire was lost. They called hours later to say that the tire was found so I came back to have it installed. I parked my car in my garage (2 blocks up) and the next time I drove the pressure was dangerously low again. I took it back to Mr. Tire and they said that it was because of the "cold air" outside. They put air in it and sent me on my way. (They never inspected the tire) I took my car to my dealership and they said that there was a nail in the tire. I again went back to Mr. Tire to have the issue addressed and after it sat overnight I was told that the tire wasn't repairable and they had no way of knowing if it was the tire I purchased days before (even though it was in the same spot!) When asked why they could've give me an answer. I'm pretty sure that the tire they "found" and sold me was defective which was bad enough but the fact that they had the nerve to try and tell me that my brand new tire UNDER WARRANTY may or may not be the one I just purchased is unacceptable! Never Again I've used Mr. Tire for the pure conference for years, but due to how they are handling my issue I'm not going back. I bought 50,000 mile tires and only have used half their life. I've had three blow outs in 6 weeks on three different tires. The first two times they replaced my tires and credited me the half value for the tires. The third time was the clincher... This is pretty bad. I go to Mr tire because they have my size tire. I'm told we do not have a jack to lift your size truck. At least they let me change my own tire using my own jack. I have been a customer of Mr. Tire for many years. I have trusted them with everything. There is a new manager that started recently, Eric Walder. My engine light was on. Previously when this occurred Harry had someone do a quick diagnostic to get a code to see what was needed. Eric wanted to charge me $145 for a full diagnostic. He told if I wanted a free check to go to a competitor up the street. It is a shame they could not find a way to keep Michael the previous manager. Avoid using them. They are incompetent and will miscommunicate and misrepresent what they can do. I have used them for tires and brakes and have had minor issues. This time they ordered a wrong part and blamed the part company. Then they told me that my car was done and it wasn't and it was the store manager Jim Smith. The evening manager Diamanté I think is a nice competent young man but the other staff are to not be trusted. Will file a complaint with the corporate office but avoid them if possible. I came in to only have my tires rotated and asked them if they have torque sticks or torque wrenches to properly torque the lug nuts; They do! The guys working at the reception were very polite and welcoming to any questions I had. I consider myself a pain in the butt customer because I am very picky and skeptical. I went to this shop today after reading glowing reviews on the Reisterstown group website. I called the shop and they told me to come in.I needed front wheel hub/bearings replacement. I purchased my own assembly and just needed them pressed and put on. Mr. Harry told me he doesn't trust parts not ordered directly thru them and that I needed a preassembled part. There are no preassembled parts for my model of car (2009 Toyota Corolla) , the bearings must be pressed in. 2nd issue, I made the call but Mr Harry only wanted to talk with my boyfriend because he thought he was in the industry because he had on a blue mechanic type outfit that said "car rental operations". I thought that was incredibly sexist because I made the call, I'm paying for it, and it's my car. He told me to stay behind while he walked my boyfriend thru the garage. 3rd issue, Mr Harry gets on the phone with his parts guy and tries to prove the point that we are wrong and that he can order a "all in one part" because it's better to do it that way instead of the $500 labor cost of doing it with pressed bearings. Even I knew that cost was comical and astronomical. I felt as if he was insulting my intelligence at that point. This is the first time in all of my almost 50 years on earth that I've experienced outright sexism, gaslighting, and inflated labor quotes. I don't mind spending my money, but I won't spend it somewhere where women are expected to sit pretty and let the man handle it. I know Mr. Harry is older and probably has a different mindset of how women should navigate the world, but it's quite off putting. I can't recommend this place to women. read more

A reprehensible " business" . I was a customer of this particular store for many years, no more. In October 2010 4 tires were installed on my car- they were waranteed for 50K miles. In October 2012 my mechanic told us to replace them, they were worn out. Replaced the tires on 11/1/12. Informed Mr. Tire management that the old tires did not live up to their warranty. Mr. Tire told me that I should be entitled to a 20% discount if I could produce paperwork that the front end was aligned once yearly, and that the old tires were rotated properly. Mr. Tire told to call the tire manufacturer's customer service operation. I went home to check my service records after the new tires were installed. I did have the necessary paperwork, and called the manufacturers customer service #. I did so and was told that if the tread depth was 2/32" or less, I could avoid the paperwork dance, and that the discount could be applied post haste. Big problem, the old tires were off the car. I called Mr. Tire and informed them of what I'd been told by the manufacturer. I was told that the old tires were "out back", and I would be called as soon as they found them. I am still waiting for that call. P.S. I continued to speak to the manufacturers customer support. They asked the make and model of my car, and what tires were put on. Turns out the wrong tires were put on in 2010. Due to Mr. Tire's incompetence, the tires wore out long before their warranty expired. I think the problem with this organization is that they were bought out by the huge Monro Corp. I have filed a complaint w/BBB, but to get anywhere I may have to go to small claims court. Bottom line- store needs a new name- Mr. Liar! read more

Welp. Not so great of an experience at this Mr. Tire location. I took my car in for a routine oil change and they ended up using the wrong kind of oil and my car wouldn't start when I went to pick it up. The only positive part of the experience was the employee who jumped my car and reassured that my car would be ok until my next oil change. There were no apologies given by any of the staff and I was still unsure why my car's battery was dead when I went to pick up the car, especially since the car was running fine the last 3 years! I know not to expect fabulous service from a chain auto service facility, but this was ridiculous! I dropped my car off at 8am for a state inspection, expecting that it would only take a few hours, but realized I should've arranged a ride...or brought a sleeping bag. I had a few items that needed repair in order to pass inspection, but had to have it done here, or risk having to pay a re-inspection fee. I was charged $60 to fix something I probably could've fixed myself in 5 minutes, but like I said...re-inspection fee wasn't worth it. I called a few times to get an update and to find out if it would be finished soon, and was told that it was next in line for something, but should be done by the end of the day. I ended up paying for something that Jiffy Lube claims to have fixed a month ago, but that's another yelp review. Finally...8 hours and $160 later, I'm ready to retitle my car. read more

I want to give feedback on Brandon's above and beyond service at this Mr. Tire location. This past Friday around 10 AM, I was all set to head out of town for the night when I saw a bulge in one of my tires. I knew I had to get it fixed before making a 130 mile drive, so I called around and every other tire shop nearby couldn't see me until 4:00 PM. My husband called this location as a last hope and Brandon, right away, jumped in to help. He said he could see me right away and would look at my tires to assess if they needed to be replaced that day or if we could wait until Monday. I got there maybe 20 minutes after the phone call and he was eager to help me out. They began working on my car right away, and after realizing they only had 1/4 tires I needed (I've been putting off getting them all replaced for months and wasn't surprised he wanted them all replaced) he quickly drove down to another location to pick the other 3 up for me. They finished about an hour and a half later and sent me on my way. The whole time I was there, Brandon made sure to update me on their progress and gave me estimated wait times- I felt prioritized the whole visit. When you go in for an oil change a tire rotation is free and all fluids are to be topped off. Make sure you check your tires to see if they have been rotated. Mark each tire A B C D so when they rotate them the letters will be out of order. Perfect way to check to see if they are honest (apparently this place aint) I just had my oil changed $54 and they didn't rotate tires and the only fluids that are topped off is the windshield wiper fluid. No other fluids are topped off with this "courtesy". Be careful at this location read more

I WAS a repeat customer until today! I scheduled to have my new truck inspected on Tuesday. They said it needed a LOT of work. We approved repairs that Tuesday and was told the part would be in Wednesday. I called them Wednesday, and they said the part was not in and wouldn't be until Thursday. I called them Thursday, and they said the part was not in and would be Friday...see the trend??? Oh and the truck was sitting out back with all of the original unserviceable parts still attached. I went to the shop Friday around 3, and was told it would be done by 8pm. BUT NOT! We went back Friday at 7 and was told the inspector spent the day inspecting and repairing A DIFFERENT car bcs the owner said he needed his car...HOLD THE HECK UP!!!!!! My vehicle has been there since Tuesday, you have the part, BUT YOU DIDN'T FINISH IT! The assistant manager said that man needed his car so he was the priority! I had the most awful experience than I've ever had with any other business in my life. Went in to get my breaks done, which should be something they know how to do and do all the time. When I picked up my car the next morning, something felt off when I tried to reverse and didn't immediately stop when pushing on the breaks, but I thought maybe I accidentally stepped on the gas. I pulled out of the parking lot and my apartment complex is right around the corner, so I tried to slow down so I could turn and couldn't. My heart started pounding and I was terrified (my exact thought was "This must be what movie characters feel like when their breaks get cut"). I had to keep going and almost hit a car who turned right in front of me. I was finally able to pull over into a parking lot by pumping my breaks. They came and got my car and fixed the breaks again. Apparently whoever worked on my car forgot to pump the air out or something like that. They then also gave me a quote to replace the ball joints, which apparently really needed replacing. If I had known this needed to be done, I wouldn't have even fixed the breaks on the car since it was pretty old and I didn't want to put any more money into it. It took about five calls to the corporate office within a month, to finally get to speak with someone other than a customer support rep. They kept telling me I'd get a call back from the DM and that never happened. Finally, I spoke with the regional manager (or so I was told) and explained how important it is to make sure breaks are done properly so someone doesn't crash their car or worse, die. He brushed off my concerns by saying "Well that didn't happen, did it?" I was told I could get a refund for the labor and when I asked twice to make sure this would arrive with in a week (since this whole process had already taken a month and I just wanted to put it behind me), he snapped at me with "I believe you already asked that and I answered you." Basically he treated me not like a paying customer, but as an annoyance that he just wanted to get rid of. I now have flashbacks of not being able to stop, whenever I turn onto my street and a week later, still have not received my refund. I will never go here or to any other Mr. Tire after the horrible ordeal I had to go through. read more

We bought four new tires for our vehicle on a Sunday afternoon. On Monday afternoon, my husband blew a tire on his way home from work. There was a two inch gash in the tire. So the next morning we were back for a new tire and alignment that cost $250. On Saturday, we are hearing nosies when we turn. We took it to our mechanic and discovered that they put on the wrong size tires. Not only the wrong size but two different sizes. One size on the driver side and a completely different size on the passenger side. So we are back for a third visit of the week. They replace the tires and offer us the warranty. They did not offer a refund for the fifth tire. When we are ready to leave, we discover they didn't inflate the tires all the way. Very disappointed that my time and money was wasted. read more
