I recently had a frustrating experience here when coming in to get my emissions done, but I have since been helped by the manager of this store and he fixed my problem and made my experience much better. The wait to get my emissions was actually pretty fast. There was only one other car in front of mine so they said it shouldn't take too long. I was there maybe 30-40 minutes and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it was done. Now for the bad part... When it came time to pay the technician didn't mention anything to me about whether I would like to pay online to get my sticker for the new year, or if I wanted to pay the $6 and do it on the spot. I should have said something myself because I was wanting to pay online initially and save the $6. But he had already rang it up and charged me so I just accepted it. After he charged my card he then realized he did not have any stickers for my car, supposedly mine is a special one and they ran out? I asked him if I could just get my money back and pay online like I initially wanted to, and he told me he couldn't offer refunds and no one at the store could either. (Strange?) He said my only options would be to add the $6 as a credit on my account, or just be out the $6. This unfortunately didn't work for me because I get my oil changes through the dealership, so I wouldn't need to come back for any type of service. I know it's only $6 but it's frustrating to pay for something and not be able to get what you paid for. I left and decided to reach out to customer service to see what could he done. Surprisingly Jiffy Lube customer service emailed me back quickly and said the manager of the store would be waiting for my call. The next day I called the manager and he was very nice and very sympathetic to what had happened. He told me to come in and he would make things right. I drove back in a few days later and the manager was able to get my sticker and he also gave me a refund of $10 for my trouble. Supposedly there had been a shortage with the state for these particular stickers so this is why they didn't have any when I was there. I appreciate the manager helping me out with this and making things right. I can tell he genuinely cares about the customers who choose to come here and get service done on their car. I wish my experience had gone better with the technician. If he had given me options to call customer service or had given me the managers name it would have been less annoying but the fact that I had to go out of my way to figure out how I could get my sticker now that I've paid for it, or how I could just get my money back, was frustrating. It just seemed to me that this particular technician didn't care and wanted me to leave. I'm just very thankful for the manager there at that store, he at least cares to make things right, so I appreciate that. read more

I went in for an oil change and left with split hoses. Some how the antifreeze and the windshield wiper fluid were running into each other. Less than a week later my Ford Escape died. As far as I'm concerned, poor quality and zero value. I will not go back to Jiffy Lube. read more

Consistently, the BEST team of technicians I've had work on any of my cars. I've been coming here since moving to Utah. Except once when I made the mistake of going to a JL closer to my house. I took my car in for Emissions Test this week and was very impressed with the service. They were busy, but the Supervisor met me at my car fight away with a friendly demeanor and assured me that my vehicle would be ready within 25 minutes. He guided me to the waiting room. I noticed that the technicians kept those waiting apprised of the maintenance progress. Lydia was extremely efficient in finalizing my license renewal with DMV and offered to put the sticker on my license. The team certainly was fast, efficient and very helpful. Jiffy Lube is certainly handy for a quick oil change, though for major services I will still go to the dealership. These guys tend to be a little heavy handed - but I won't go into all my experiences, I'll just say I've learned what they are good at and what I won't trust them with. This particular location is consistently better than the 13400 So. location in Riverton, which I've reviewed before, not because they do anything differently with the actual service itself, but they do have one thing that is vastly different and that is the other kind of important service....customer service. Sure, you still have to go through the up-sell, but they don't push it and staff here seem to be better trained in the ability to communicate clearly to and understand customers. I used to think it was just luck of the draw when it came to Jiffy Lube's, but with repeated visits to various locations I think it's more just how on top off the staff the managers are and how accountable they hold them. And for that, I'll give this one a 4 star review. I've used this location 3 times and not had a bad experience yet. read more

Great service! And saved us $80! We were in a hurry to leave town and they helped us out a ton! The manager personally drove to get the out of stock belts we needed replaced so the service would be faster. The last jiffy lube told us 2 belts needed to be replaced, but here they told us the second one isn't that bad and can wait till the next oil change to be checked. read more

I brought my car into this location for a state I/M inspection. After a short wait the technician came into the waiting room and attempted to sell me a set of new wiper blades a new engine air filter and a cabin air filter I declined them all. A few days later I inspected the cabin air filter to see if it actually did need replaced but it had been jammed back into the housing sideways and was very difficult to get out, the filter media was relatively clean but it was now ruined and had to be replaced, in fact the wipers were still good and the engine air filter was in very good condition and did not need to be replaced. I understand them trying to sell these items to people but in this case they clearly were not needed, it was an attempt to pull a con job. My the biggest complaint is that they didn't use reasonable care replacing the cabin air filter that they were not asked to to touch in the first place. This experience ended up costing my a $28 cabin air filter that I had to replace simply becasue the old one was smashed. I would not recommend this location. read more

Update: I am raising my rating to 2 stars because the owner, Lube Management LLC, did do an investigation. Of course the denied responsibility and denied my claim. But I have to give them some credit for not blowing me off. I've also discussed this with other "car guys" and was summarily ridiculed for expecting better from Jiffy Lube. Over the past week I've heard some real horror stories. In my view the odds caught up with me and I will not be using Jiffy Lube again. You be the judge and make your own decision but as I said, be very careful. I have the skills and I'll be performing the repairs on my car myself. read more

I came in for a routine oil change. I chose the basic option for my basic car. The staff was very nice, but I do think they skimped out on some of the extra services offered with an oil change like free window cleaning and vacuuming. It wasn't a big deal, so no real complaints. I got my emissions done here. I got there and was told it was going to be 15 to 20 minutes I was there for 40 minutes.about 30 minutes in they had me come out and look at my cabin air filter witch was messy and they said they can replace it for 50 dollars. Like what that's 10 dollars At autozone max. I could hear them talking about it while I was in the waiting room saying it's going to be just as expensive if he dose it himself. Like no I have been in the automotive industry for two years I know how to change my own and how much it will cost. I go out there after 40 minutes of sitting in the waiting room to finally get my registration done he dose it on the public website something you can do at home for free . He registers my car in February like what the hell is this guy thinking. It's March 31st so now my car is registered two months less. They then proceeded to charge me 45 dollars for the emissions and 10 for their fee for typing my information into the free public website. I say hey that's kinda expensive for emissions testing because regularly it's 35 and the guy says well I guess everything is expensive now days. I just took out my filter to change it and they didn't even put my glove box in correctly. These guys are extremely un professional and want to take every dollar or yours that they can. Do not go to this jiffy lube if you want to be treated fairly. read more

Worst Jiffy Lube I have EVER been to. We waited in the car to be greeted for an unusual amount of time. Then we waited over an hour to even get brought out to go over the car. We watched as they finished the car who arrived after us and he left over thirty minutes earlier than we did. They washed the windows over and over and they walked around and talked to each other. It was NOT a busy day. We asked them to check the brakes and they didn't even do it. I went to another location for my own car just the day before and it was a completely different experience. We spent a total of an hour and forty minutes waiting for only an oil change. Nothing else, no complications. By far the most ridiculous experience I've ever had. read more

Went to this Jiffy Lube and could not believe how horrible the customer service was. They ignored me for almost 20 minutes before a young man greeted me only to be yelled at by a large burly man named Luke (also the manager). I was finally helped by Luke and he tried selling me everything but did it while NOT looking at me, rolling his eyes like I was interrupting something. I went into the waiting room where I spoke to another man and woman. They were reading the reviews and saying how sad that nothing has changed they just send a copy paste response to anyone with issues. One young lady said she had a friend work here but he quit because the manager was always drunk. Just as a review stated 4 months previous on google. After reading the reviews myself I was disappointed at my choice to come here. This was an awful experience and it's sad to see they don't care about their customers. read more

I was impressed when my wait was less time than I had anticipated, but was annoyed and frustrated over an issue that occurred as a result to my visit to this location. There was an issue after I left with the glove box (a matter of something being broken as they attempted to reach the cabin air filter located behind the glove box) but after leaving my less-than positive feedback, the Manager of the store and the District Manager BOTH contacted me, and have made arrangements to make this right. I never expected to hear back from anyone, so to have TWO people call me in order to help rectify the situation was very impressive. I really appreciate that they value their customer experience and took this to be a training opportunity with their employees. I appreciated their patience with me when I was less than gracious, their professionalism in handling the issue, and their willingness to work to come to a resolution that is amicable to both parties. read more

I went to this shop with a friend after advising him otherwise because it was close. My friend has been a mechanic for his entire career. We simply went for a safeties and emissions everything on the paper stated passed and they still failed the car due to rear to front braking balance (which the employee "Crawford" didn't even understand how to read on the computer. Literally had to ask 4 people for help)when all other braking checked out and it is not even a state requirement. This place was rude, far knowledgeable and their attitude changed drastically once he declined to purchase their upsales. I would never recommend this place to anyone ! Called before showing up to this Jiffy Lube and asked if they could give me service. It was getting close to 7 o'clock but the representative over the phone promised me that if I got in quickly they could help me out. I arrived at the store at 7:01 PM, just one minute after they had closed when I had called just five minutes earlier. He told me that his boss now said he would not be able to help me and denied me service but asked if I could come back tomorrow morning at 8 AM to receive help. I'm traveling across country tomorrow and moving to a new state and really needed to get this oil change. I've been going to Jiffy Lube for years and this was a huge letdown. read more

This Jiffy Lube closes as 7, and we rolled up at 6:54, really needing an oil change because we were going on a road trip very early next morning. Not only did they stay open later for us, they gave us a discount because we're students! They were very polite and the oil change was done in a jiffy (see what I did there?). I brought my car in for an oil change yesterday (7/2/2018), and I also just wanted to get everything checked out, just making sure my car wasn't going to blow up any second hahah. The guys there were SO nice. They were very honest with what I needed to get done, and even gave me a discount on a light because they're just awesome. While there, John (the manager) explained what they were doing, and why they were doing it. He gave me recommendations on what to do next time I bring my car in. I seriously am always so nervous to go to car places alone, because I think they'll try to up sell every little thing, even if it doesn't need to be fixed. I didn't feel this way at all here. He suggested a few things that needed to be fixed, things I had no idea needed to be fixed, so i'm thankful he caught it all! I will definitely be bringing my car in to this location for every oil change from here on out. It only took them an hour to do everything, which was awesome considering its a holiday week. The technicians here are liars! I went in to get my oil changed. After they inspected my car they said my AC belt needed to be changed. I paid for them to change it and went on my way. Two days later I was having trouble with my tires so I went to Firestone. After inspecting my car they told me my AC belt needed to be changed! I just paid jiffy lube to change it. Firestone showed me the belt and it was very old and obviously had not been changed. I called the manager at jiffy lube to complain. His me was TYLER PECKAM. He was so rude and disrespectful to me. He yelled at me over the phone and said he refused to give me my money back. Absolutely ridiculous! The workers at jiffy lube are dishonest, incompetent and liars. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. don't go to jiffy lube if you expect quality service. WORST experience I've had. read more

I always come to you guys. Always. I don't know what went wrong this month. I have walked in twice now, once for an oil change, safety emissions, and registration. I got the oil change... That was it. I figured you were busy and I would come back. And I did, I walked in Monday and said "I need stickers for my car." It was pretty quick in and out, I paid and got in my car and drove away thinking, "oh, that's nice they even put them on for me." But you didn't. I got home with just a safety and emissions inspection, no registration. Now it's September, my registration is due and I have to go to the DMV. Get it together boys.
