Jiffy lube is a nice place to go when you want a quick oil change. The mechanics were friendly and I was able to get helped right away. I asked if they would also check my air pressure, air filter, and anything else they thought was important to check. They were nice enough to check all those things and fill up my air. They let me know my belt was needing to be changed and I asked if they would show me. He walked me through all the different things in my engine and told me what to look for. I thought it was really nice that he took the time to do that. Oil change was a little more than I was hoping for but I think that's just the normal cost of oil changes these days. Really disappointed. This Jiffy Lube ended up costing me $633. I went in for a simple oil change. During the service, they removed my air filter and asked to replace it (I declined). Unfortunately, it was reinstalled incorrectly. This caused physical damage to the filter, allowed debris (including a rock) to get in, and ultimately blocked my MAF sensor. Not long after, my car stalled on the freeway and the check engine light came on. What should have been a routine, quick service turned into a stressful and expensive repair. This experience was super frustrating and honestly unacceptable for something so preventable. I was SO happy with this location when they did my oil change. I decided to take my car back in because the manager told me they could do a simple transmission fluid change. When I took it in, the manager came to me with a picture and said "we have a problem". He showed me a picture of what he said was a "broken bolt" and he had no idea how it happened. He told me that it was damaged when they opened it up (this has never been opened since the car was built). He then called the manager of the shop next door. He came and gave me a price of $175 to fix the damaged bolt and then $199 to do the transmission fluid change. Luckily, I didn't feel right about the whole thing and went to a transmission specialist to see what had been "damaged". What Jiffy Lube and their scam shop next door were showing me was a part in the case half that covers the transmission - there is NO BOLT THERE; it's molded into the case and initially had a small piece in the center which apparently looked as though it could have been opened by a tool, and then broke off. So, Jiffy Lube tried to remove a bolt which was just a part of the case half. The bolt that released the transmission fluid was there, as plain as I could see, perfectly fine. Jiffy Lube chose the wrong "bolt" to remove. Luckily, there was no damage to the case, and the bolt/plug holding the transmission fluid was easily removed and replaced (I watched the whole thing). RUN from this place. They do not know what they are doing and they almost cost me an additional $175 and God knows how much more if they found more fake or shop-caused "issues". UPDATE: Jiffy Lube asked me for my contact information, and we went back and forth a few times. They seemed concerned about this. Then, they had the manager from the location that provided the bad service call me and refer to the "damaged part on my car". I messaged Jiffy Lube back and asked them to NOT have the manager call me, there was no damaged part, they just didn't know what they were doing. I've not heard back. read more

Oil change. Easy to get in without appt. $133. Extensive check list that they list as completed but don't seem to check. Easy ones to verify are wiper blades checked and exterior front window cleaned. Neither were done leaving everything else questionable. The only evidence the oil was changed was that it leaked all over my driveway when I got home. Maybe they just drained it all over the bottom engine plate and it is still dripping off or maybe drain plug was misthreaded. We will see. Bad value at jiffylube in any case. read more

Oh my goodness!! I went to this particular Jiffy Lube today with intentions to get some photos for my review. However, I got so excited about responsive/instant service this shop's staff provided that I totally forgot to take photos and do a check-in and never realized it until I got home!!! LOL! Seriously! Well, I want to say that I always thought that Jiffy was about oil changes only for the most part. But not I have learned that the company has morphed into other important areas of auto maintenance and care. For instance, changing burned out lights on motor vehicles. After contacting a few places - well, as usual the Meineke on Damon Road wasn't answering its phone - even the NEX Autoport quote seemed to be a ripoff, or just high dollar Cali normal. Jiffy on the phone quote was by far the best - this particular Jiffy Lube, that is. Well, I thought about going to one closer to home, but something inside me said to head to this one, so I did. I was greeted instantly by an attendant named Adam and let him know that I needed a couple of brake light bulbs changed. He instantly pulled a bulb and looked for a replacement pair. (When one brake light goes out, I always get both replaced, as the second one usually burns out not long after the first if you don't) Two were found, replaced, all done in probably less than 15 minutes! This Jiffy Lube shop has very high ratings on Google and certainly it's also high on Yelp as well. I'm not surprised at all! They do give military discounts - and note, I've never had my oil changed at Jiffy, I am only speaking for the service I had today on my taillights. I would encourage people to look up Jiffy on the Internet and see what they offer, as you may just save yourself some good money. Today I was blessed to have done very well. Bored and indifferent staff steadfastly ignore you as you pull in and wait for someone to direct you to a bay. They don't even look up from whatever it is they're doing - despite them obviously knowing that you are there. I understand that they hate their jobs, but if it's that bad, try working in some other industry, where it's OK to give people a total lack of Customer Service. Maybe the government? Going to this place is more like a sociology experiment than getting a service. It gives you an opportunity to see how the chronically malcontent behave ! Love love love Jiffy Lube! HATE HATE HATE this location. They did not tighten the oil drain screw on my ride... all the oil leaked out... I did not realize it for 2 days. Leaked all over the drive way, and may have seriously damaged my engine. They promised to clean my drive way... They never showed. I called them, they said it was too big of a job and needed to have a professional come. They never showed. I called them, (a month later) manager said he was on vacation and will get to it. They never showed. I called them... the manager said we paid someone to do it, must've went to the wrong house... we will look into it. They never did. I showed up in person. The manager got loud and aggressive telling me he we get to it when he can. I felt intimidated and decided that yelping is my best form of recourse. I have since moved, and had to battle my landlord over the oil spill... my car is burning oil. And I caution anyone against patronizing this place. read more

Came in for oil change, on collection I was told I also need a transmission oil change that takes 15 minutes. What they didn't say was that they charge $300 for that. When I queried it I was told the dealers charge double. 4 quarts of oil at $15 means they're charging about $800/ hour for changing it. I called the dealer and they quoted $130+ tax. When I questioned it and they immediately gave me a $65 refund. But I'm still being ripped off. Watch out for this kind of upselling scam. read more
