Their website says that they will perform a transmission flush and fill on my vehicle. I tried to call the location and the automated system picked up and then I sat on hold for 8 minutes before I decided to hang up. I drove 20 miles to get there, only to be told that they couldn't do it. Because they didn't care to answer their phone it cost me $8 in gas and 45 minutes of my time. Next time I need service I won't waste my time or gas with this location. read more

2023 and 2025 -Monticello Jiffy Lube. A younger worker told me to start my car (he was in the building for a few mins) came back on the floor and said start it- I did. He starts yelling shut it off! He never added the oil.... I was in a hurry recently (the last incident was years ago) but because I was heading out of state and running out of time I stopped back through. This time they put 10 quarts of oil in my car! I bought two- 5 quart jugs, they're supposed to put in 8 quarts and give me back a jug with 2 quarts remaining, but they put all 10 quarts in. The guy says go ahead and start it. I look at him and said where are my 2 quarts??? He apologized profusely which I know accidents happen but good lord. Just so frustrating!! read more

This is the best mechanic shop I've ever been to! These guys do good work, and when something goes wrong, they take ownership and responsibility for it better than any shop I've ever even heard of. Great service! I was driving on the freeway when my check engine light started blinking (turns out it was the spark plugs, and the car needed a tune-up). They were the closest place at the time, so they're where I went. I had a great experience there! The manager ZJ was super friendly and communicative about the nature of the repairs and the timeline, which given that I had my two toddlers with me, I was very grateful for as it gave me time to plan. The guy they needed for the job wasn't in at the time, but he came in early just to help with this repair. So grateful to these guys for their help! read more

$90 for a high mile oil change. Lucky I had that coupon for $15 to bring it to $75.(insert sarcasm) Looked at the receipt and the oil was $12 and the disposal fee was $2.50. Somehow the filter was only a $1. So I paid over $50 for 15 minutes of labor. Lol. Place is a RIP off. I called Walmart they said there exact same oil change was $35. Go there instead. I gave 2 stars because other than taking it in the arse it was pretty fast. And the coupon is just an obvious SCAM to get you in the store because most people once there are gonna do it anyways. UPDATE TO MY REVIEW. Talking to a guy right now who worked at another Jiffy Lube in Elk River who I showed my post review. He says I was completely scammed and spilled the beans on how Jiffy Lube will actually try to use their employees to scam customers. He said he had to rip old ladies off on the direction of Jiffy Lube. How they make their employees completely be dishonest to their customers and he had to quit as a result. Bravo to this guy for being an honest person. And shame on Jiffy Lube for being a corporate franchise disgrace. read more

Avoid this place if you can. I've had good service here in the past but our recent visit will be our last. ever. My wife and daughter brought my daughters car in last month for an oil change. It took the technician more than 5 minutes to figure out how to open the hood on the mini. in the process he broke the trim piece and not only claimed that it was already broken but also mocked my daughter when she disagreed. The manager was aware and said to the technician "what did you do?". They argued with my wife and claimed that the trim piece came unsnapped and they had fixed it. It was a lie. They broke it and tried to cover it up. I don't want anything from this place- I am not looking for any free crappy service. You already had your chance to step up for a loyal customer and you failed. miserably. I just want the owner to know that when your sales are down, this is why. someday soon when you are not covering costs and go out of business you will know that you didn't care enough about the customers who came through your door. read more

Needed an oil change and had my tires filled and had my coolant topped off. Received quick and friendly service.

I had my oil changed January 4th 2018 and was shocked to learn that the Windshield washer fluid wasn't for winter (below zero temperatures) Living in Mn that should have been in the cars in dec already and so on my drive to work going 70 mph on 94 I almost crashed my car when I put on the fluid and it froze instantly!!!! When I called the store they admitted they just got the winter one in and they were sorry! As a big name company you would think they would let people know this as our temps have been below zero for weeks!!! I had Angels around my car today, hopefully all the other vehicles services there have the same. read more

Went to door which was locked but looked through window and guy finally came out and told me to give him 20 minutes because they just got there and computer system needed to come up. I went into get a conventional oil changed on my 2013 Hyundai. I was greeted by one of your employees. I informed him that I would like an conventional oil change for my car . He Informed me that I need a synthetic or synthetic blend. To which I replied no I want conventional and that only. The Tech said "No we don't do that on your make and model I won't put in the wrong oil." Which is a out flat out LIE! There is no where on the Jiffy Lube website that states this information. I have only used conventional oil,and all this tech was trying to do was take advantage of me and up sale the oil. This is very unprofessional and if I were an individual who knew nothing about cars I would of been taken for a ride and ripped off.You can give recommendations all you want but by telling me what to do and saying your won't service my car because you want to charge me 70.00 instead of 30.OO is really bad business. read more

Some of the most pleasant and courteous customer service I've received. Jami welcomed me, answered a question or two as she showed me to the waiting area. Whereas every other fast oil change places have tried to up-sale me, Jami simply showed me the air filter and said maybe consider changing it in 6 months or so. Not only was the oil changed and other fluid levels topped off quickly, but also the windows were cleaned, floorboards vacuumed, even covered my seat with plastic before getting inside. I have been going here since they came to town and have been very happy in the past. Today I brought in a new vehicle that was not in their system. I was never asked what kind of oil I wanted. I had to enter my information into the PC myself (even thought I am in their system) Apparently there are NO recommended services for my truck, at least he never went through any of that with me. Granted I don't get them done there but I still like to know. Doug was the person talking to me. I would not call him an adviser because he did not do a dam thing. Could not even tell me the difference between the oil changes they offer. I figured the first time the truck had been there I would pay a little more to have them look at everything. But I have no idea what services they offer based on my experience today. If Doug is there when I come back for my next oil change I think I will go elsewhere. read more

WE WILL NEVER BE BACK..My husband has been bringing both our vehicles to the Monticello Jiffy Lube ever since they opened. (they know my husband by name as soon as he pulls up) We had an oil leak so we brought it to our mechanic that has worked on our Honda Pilot since we purchased it. Our mechanic put the vehicle up and IMMEDIATELY asked WHO DID YOUR LAST OIL CHANGE "IT WAS JIFFY LUBE". THEY STRIPPED THE OIL DRAIN PLUG!!!!!!!!!! But wait it gets better. I called the 800 number on the back of my receipt July 20 2015 and got a claim number. I called again July 22 2015 asking the progress still waiting for district manager to call. No call, so I called the Monticello Shop on July 23 2015 and asked them to have the district manager call us. I also called the 800 number on July 23 2015. STILL NO CALL BACK AT ALL, NOT EVEN TO SAY IF THEY ARE EVEN WORKING ON IT. Years of being a LOYAL CUSTOMER and not even 1 phone call back. They have lost our business and others! I took my new truck in for service. They put a 5 inch scratch in my truck fender. The truck was 7 months on the road and had 14,000 miles on it. The managers response was "that will happen". I was livid, but he assured me that they would take care of it. Two weeks later, no resolution so I stopped back. It was now turned over to a District Manager, still no call or follow up. So I went to Corporate to submit a complaint, three messages and no follow up. To date I have sent emails, left phone messages and no response. The manager on site is powerless. Over two months later I still have no solutions. Stay away from this place. read more
