Very dishonest business. After signing their digital signature pad and receiving my receipt, I noticed they had charged me for an air filter and wiper blades that were never discussed with me. I immediately requested a refund and asked that the old parts be put back in. They claimed they reinstalled the old parts, but they never even opened the hood, so there was no way the filter was reinstalled. After leaving, I inspected the filter myself and confirmed it was not new and did not need replacement in the first place. read more

I went to this location for oil change, two day I found out the oil was leaking for my 2008 Mercedes cls550, I went to the location and the technician tell me that when he was doing the oil change he notice that excessive oil in the car but noone inform me about this , if I have know I will not do the oil change, this is unprofessional. The service was completed in 20 minutes! I was given an opportunity to select the grade of oil that I wanted with out any pressure to select the most expensive option. This Jiffy Lube nearly destroyed my car. Went in for a routine oil change (which I waited over 2 hours for) and the plug to my oil was never properly tightened. Every last drop of oil in my car drained out as I was driving filling the undercarriage of my car with oil and causing my engine to go up in smoke as I was driving it on the highway, leaving me stranded on the side of the road. I had to have the car towed to a different mechanic where the mechanic confirmed that Jiffy Lube never properly tightened the plug on my vehicle. I am still awaiting for the mechanic to let me know the extent of the damaDo not go here unless you want you want to risk destroying the engine of your vehicle. Update: the engine seized up about a week later (stranding me again on the side of the road) the entire engine then had to be replaced. Jiffy Lube agreed to pay for everything (almost 5 grand in damage) but it was a month long process to get a new engine put in my vehicle. The new engine is a salvage from a random yard and does not run nearly as good as the original engine that Jiffy Lube destroyed and I could not be more disappointed. Avoid at all costs or expect a lengthy repair process for your car. You're better off paying the money to go to a dealership for an oil change. read more

I have been to this specific Jiffy Lube for 3 oil changes now, and each experience has been completely satisfying. They are quick and efficient, which is what I would expect from a shop that has the word "Jiffy" in their name. It's an oil change... not rocket science. I got my tires rotated on this particular visit and they didn't fall off after pulling away, so it looks a job well done to me! The gentleman who assisted me, I believe his name was John, was very friendly and helpful. No smoke and mirrors here, just straightforward service. Previous reviews highlight very specific negative issues, so I won't attest to those. What I can say is that in my 3 visits I have experienced consistent and friendly customer service and the work they do is to my expectations, which keeps me coming back. Great Work! read more

Update: by the way, we had our car towed from where it broke down back to the jiffy lube and when we told them that the oil filter had come shooting out the car the dude said, under their breath "oh, shit." They put in a new filter, more oil, and Gabe is most of our money back. Im keeping this review at one star though, because of two things. One, they made a point of saying, when we neither asked nor cared, that it wasn't their fault because they'd been given a faulty air filter so, again, not our fault. That really rubbed me the wrong way because the correct response should have been "we're so sorry this happened, thank you for giving us the opportunity to redeem ourselves by fixing it, on the house." The second issue we have is now our car very clearly has something wrong with it. It's making a couple of grinding noises, and emitting a burning smell that had not occurred before our visit. We're basically just waiting to have enough money to take it to a mechanic we actually trust and recommend, Ramsey's in Drexel Hill, because I'm certain that they broke something else while they were in there. Whether it was intentional or due to incompetence really doesn't matter, the end result is we will continue to refuse service from this Jiffy lube ever again, even if they PAID us to go there. They literally may have cost us our whole freakin car over a simple oil change. No thanks. Wow. We got our oil changed here today. It was an okay experience but the wait was a little long. The shop is only 10 minutes away from home, so when we were done we grabbed some food and went back. It's now almost 7pm and we were heading out to a friend's house. Five minutes into our drive, we hear a clunk and all of a sudden our oil light comes on. The oil filter completely fell off the car and all the oil is now in the road! Of course, they're closed and their phone doesn't take messages....we're waiting for Triple A to come and tow us back there so we can leave the car and hope they'll fix it in the morning but these reviews do nottttt give me hope. read more

I had a good experience at the Springfield Jiffy Lube I pulled in in one of the text greeted me right away and told me that there was a car in front of me that they would pull me in as soon as they were done their car. He escorted me to the lounge where there was a TV, restroom and something to drink. In about 10 minutes my car was driven in and the hood went up a few minutes later a tech called me out to review my vehicle. This is sad. I came here again as I was in a rush and had been treated quite well the last time. A new service manager on duty. Service was lackluster to say the least but time was of the essence and I figured I'd trust them. Oh oh.... Then the next day, during my "preflight" of the car, I notice I had no oil pressure. Zero. Nada. Ohhhhhshhh#@#@#@#@ttttttt..... I went and measured the oil. Had a full container. Opened up the crankcase cover and there seemed to be oil flowing to the valves. Mmmmm..... Went under and looked at the oil pressure sending unit. It was destroyed. Cracked into a million pieces. The oil sending unit on a Jeep Cherokee is closely parallel to the oil filter, so when you replace the oil filter, if you're not careful, the wrench can grasp both the filter AND the oil pressure unit and when you turn, destroy the unit. The service worker had done just that. And then I noticed the car was leaking oil next to the filter too. Took it to my mechanic who, besides replacing the oil sending unit, had to replace the oil filter that was the wrong type and had also been incorrectly installed. I went in for regular maintenance before a trip and asked for them to check the tires and fluids. My wait time was zero, they told me the oil looked clean, they put a little air in my tires, and topped off my windshield wiper fluid. FOR FREE. They didn't make up any problems with my car to pretend to fix, even though I'm obviously a woman who really doesn't know a lot about cars. I went to this location 2 months ago, and paid for rear brakes, rotors, and two calipers. Recently I noticed that my car would not come to complete stop, now matter how hard I pressed the brake pedal. Then, yesterday two warning lights lit up on my dash so today I went to this location to potentially get the issue resolved. Fortunately they were crowded so I went to another mechanic. I now find out that the calipers were not properly installed and I have been leaking brake fluid. Now I have to pay more money to fix THEIR mistake, but thank GOD it's now fixed. I will NEVER return to ANY Jiffy Lube, but especially NOT SPRINGFIELD. Don't put your life in danger. read more

In response to the customer service rep: Why on earth would I want your team to provide additional service? I will not be returning. I was waiting for 45 minutes for a simple oil change that I could have gotten much cheaper somewhere else. Let me tell you my experience. When I first got in I gave all my details to the attendant and sat down. After 20 minutes another car of the same model and color came in to the garage. When he called the car model and color I naturally thought mine was ready. When I came in thinking my oil change was done, he starting putting in my information into the computer again like I was a new customer! He didn't even recognize that I was the customer that he just spoke to 20 minutes before and that he was putting in the exact same information in! When I told him I was the customer who was still waiting for their car he didn't apologize or anything. At the very end of the service, after waiting an additional 20 minutes, he even had the audacity to try sell me a new air filter although mine was brand spanking new and new windshield wipers even though I had just bought new ones and changed them myself. Everytime I go to Jiffy Lube they always try to hard sell me things that I don't want or need. Also, when I was paying for my service somebody else used a coupon that they had found online. I asked if they could apply the same to me even though I didn't have it physically but they told me no. Overall bad experience and I will not be going back. read more

NEVER EVER AGAIN. I have taken my car here for regular oil changes for a few years now. A few weeks ago, they installed a new air cabin filter. This morning, I went to open my glove box and it wouldn't close so I took it to the dealership to find out why. The dealer called and asked if I'd had my cabin filter replaced recently, and indicated that the cabin filter was not replaced correctly. I called Jiffy Lube and told them it's now costing me money at the dealership because the $35 filter they installed was done incorrectly. I have never had a problem with my glove box, and actually hadn't used it since before I had the cabin filter changed. After going back and forth with them, it was clear that they weren't going to take responsibility despite the fact that it was clearly their fault. I won't be back, and will be sure to tell other family members and friends what happened. Hey Jiffy Lube, your young, incompetent staff and poor customer service is gonna cost you. I will be new to the area and was excited to see a local spot I could get my oil changed at, however, going to this place was a mistake. I got my car one year ago and **had not had any problems with it**. I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and they rotated my tires. I drove home, and did not drive it until the next week (I don't need to drive to work), at which point one of my hubcaps fell off. Interesting right? No problems for a year... Jiffy Lube takes my tires & hubcaps off and switches them around and now a hubcap falls off. I contacted Jiffy Lube and they told me to come in and talk to the manager before 5pm. I drove 30 minutes that day to Jiffy Lube and arrived at 3pm. I was told the manager went home. The man who assisted me went into an office for at least 10 minutes before coming out, taking pictures of my car, and telling me the regional manager would call me Monday. By late Monday afternoon I had not received a call yet, so I called them. I was told 'Oh, he will be calling you tomorrow'. So, not sure I would have gotten that memo if I hadn't reached out to them. Tuesday came and left without any call. Midday Wednesday, I called Jiffy Lube again. I spoke to a man who told me I indeed had spoken to a manager, that someone could have 'stolen one of my hubcaps', and that there was NOTHING they could do for me. Nothing. Now, if I were this manager, I would probably do SOME type of customer service / damage control - at the very least for all the trouble and lack of customer service on their end, notwithstanding the hubcap. I really must have been mad to think if they could not replace them then perhaps they'd offer a complimentary service or something for all the trouble... But no, they said 'we will not do anything for you'. Don't go to this place. They don't understand customer service... It was almost as if I was a crook and went around to different places doing this as a scheme, which doesn't make any sense. **If you do go to this place, don't expect them to help you or take any accountability if they do something wrong.** read more

Place is pretty good for a oil change I guess, but that's all. When I requested to have my tires rotated they said that their lift would not allow them to do so which is a crock. They also tried selling me a new battery for no apparent reason other then they said mine was going bad. I normally do general maintenance on my vehicles and have a background in automotive work. I have never heard of such a thing as a lift that won't allow tire rotation. They had giving my girlfriend the same problem before on her small suv but ended up doing the tire rotation after going back and forth. read more

I feel like I should give them a 3 star review on being fast/convenient, however the service itself is shady as hell. I went on a Sunday, and was told that they were accepting "cash only" (there goes the convenience). I left, went to wawa to get cash and came back. After taking your car into the garage, they call you out to try to upsell you on a new air filter (every time). While I was out there, mentioned that I had a coupon on my phone for the oil change to which the technician, a stocky white guy, said they couldn't take coupons.. Annoying. Then, I asked how much to do a headlight bulb change (one bulb). The technician, quoted me at $20, so I declined. I was already annoyed about the "cash only" and the "no coupons" and just wanted to leave. I came back another day and got my headlight changed, and guess what? It costed $13.50, not $20. Not the first mechanic to try to milk money from a female, but it still sucks and leads me to believe that he was being greedy in order to pocket more money-hence the "cash only". Also, after my boyfriend's oil change, they never bothered to change his "oil life %" so now I'm wondering if they forgot to reset the thing or if they just charged him for an oil change and didn't actually do it... All this and this place has the nerve to be the most expensive place around for simple services. You're not saving any money by coming here, the only upside is that they have a fast turnaround and are open on Sundays. read more
