The transmission mount they used was a cheap knock-off mount and failed immediately. I drove around with the engine shifting around, shuddering, shaking and clunking for months trying to figure it out. Every time I brought it back to them they were evasive and said the mounts were fine or blamed it on something else. Finally, I got an oil change at a second mechanic and they found the issue and told me to go back to Honest Auto and have them fix it since it wasn't done correctly. Even with photographic evidence they were evasive and said that they can't do the work again because it is too much time and money lost for their business. Now I am stuck with a huge repair bill and potential damage to other parts of my car from the engine moving around for this long. The problem is with the part installed being defective and the work not being done correctly I wish they would have simply apologized and offered to fix the issue that was already paid for. I lost a lot of time and missed days at work driving my car in to mechanics and borrowing family members' cars to try and find this issue. I don't think it was the right or moral thing for them to do and it certainly was not honest. Now I have to go pay a massive amount of money at another mechanic for a job that I already paid for here. It was supposed to already have been done but was done improperly and they refuse to make it right. To do the right thing and install a good OEM mount and complete the repair correctly.
