Before i whine about the price, i do want to say that these guys were polite and thorough. I was the only one in line and my service was completed in record time. One person was cleaning my windows while i was being checked out. I was out of town and long due for an oil change. i normally do it myself (with full synthetic & oem filter) for the under $50. So a little bit of a sticker shock to be charged $150 for a full synthetic oil change - wow. They did accomadate my traditional oil request (5w-30 vs 0w-20). i get it, environmemtal fees, labor, etc, and probably price competive with everyone else. But wow. read more

Jiffy Lube - Waiting room with 8 chairs, a TV, and WIFI - Auto Repair Near Me - Tehachapi, California

Used to have my truck and jeep oil changes and other maintenance requirements done at jiffy lube. Had several minor issues over the 8 years we lived in Bear Valley Springs but nothing that made me want to leave a bad review. Well that's changed.... I had brought my 2003 F350 7.3 in and wanted to go from standard coolant to an ELC. I would have done it my self but changing meant at least 3-4 flushes including pulling the plugs on the block. Not a good idea to have any residual standard coolant to be mixed with the ELC. So I brought it in and had them do a complete flush and go with the ELC. The truck doesn't get driven all the time but it's been 7 years since this was done and only less than 30,000 miles...ELC is supposed to last a minimum of 75,000 but more into the 100k range. That is if the flush was complete.!!!! Well it wasn't. Since moving to Tennessee and more rural than we were out there, I started doing my own oil changes and noticed separation in the see through over flow bottle. Haven't had an over heating problem but would have if I hadn't caught this. I had sludge in the overflow bottle and panicked. I started draining the overflow bottle and decided to order a new one to get rid of at least a gallon of pure sludge still sitting in it after draining. Decided I'd better do a complete flush as this is probably through the whole system. What really bothers me is there's at least 3 different coolants in this and it hasn't been touched since I had Jiffey Lube do a complete flush and change to the ELC. When I drained the radiator and overflow I got two shades of orange and they separate as can be seen in the picture. When I pulled the block plugs a got green and lots of sludge. I've been flushing for two days now and still getting floating sludge after running for 10 mins....at least 7-8 flushes so far, one with 23 fl ounces of Rislone Hy-per Cool cleaner supper flush. Hopefully I can get this cleaned out....if I still lived there....lets just say they wouldn't like where all this waste coolant would be going. The idiots there shouldn't be allowed to work on a child's toy. read more

Had to get tires changed here after an emergency blowout. Couldn't have gotten better or faster service

Yesterday, Saturday May 3, 2025, I arrived to have my oil changed, transmission fluid changed, and tires rotated. When I pulled up, the technicianslooked busy, however, noone acknowledged my arrival. I patiently sat in my car for about 15 minutes. After that time, I couldn't see anyone in the bay doing any work at all. No one came out to greet me or to say that they had acknowledged my arrival. I decided to back out and leave to go to another, much friendlier Jiffy Lube. I normally go to in La Crescenta, California. They always provide excellent service. I'm really disappointed that the folks at my local Jiffy Lube in my hometown, just didn't have time for me, or to even acknowledge that I was there. It was very disappointing. However, I highly recommend the La Crescenta location if you're ever in that area. read more

Let me start by saying, I am not one to leave reviews, I have never left a review, and it breaks my heart that this is the first review I have to write especially since it is about a business so close to home. I stopped at this Jiffy Lube while passing through town on my way home to get an oil change. When I first arrived, I was greeted promptly and kindly. The initial interaction was professional and respectful -- just the standard questions about what I was coming in for that day. While waiting for my oil change to be completed, one of the employees came into the waiting room to speak with me about my car. The employee appeared disheveled and unprofessional -- he smelled strongly of marijuana and had visible sleep in his eyes. It gave the impression that he was not prepared or in a suitable condition to be representing the business. Unfortunately, this part of my visit made me very uncomfortable. The employee repeatedly used inappropriate pet names to address me instead of professional, respectful terms like "ma'am" or "miss." As a woman, I expect to be treated with respect in a professional setting, not spoken to in a way that feels objectifying -- such as being called "hun." No woman should have to be verbally harassed in this way. To make matters worse, I also overheard this same man making very inappropriate sexual comments to his coworkers -- things that have no place being discussed in a professional environment. If those are things that are chosen to be done outside of the professional environment, it should stay outside of the professional environment. The other employee he was speaking to looked visibly uncomfortable as well, which made the situation even more concerning. The rest of the staff, however, were very kind, polite, and well-presented. When I went to pay, I asked who the man from the waiting room was and was told he was the assistant manager. That was disappointing to hear, given his behavior. Overall, I was satisfied with the service performed on my car and with most of the employees I interacted with. However, because of the unprofessional conduct of that one individual, I won't be returning to this location. Jiffy Lube should hold all of its employees -- especially those in management roles -- to a higher standard of professionalism, particularly when the business is located in a small, close-knit community where customers should feel comfortable and respected. For all future services, I will be taking my business to the local tire store, and I recommend the same for any women who don't want to risk being verbally or sexually harassed just because they need an oil change. read more

I started coming here almost a year now, after my husband told me about them. Every time I've been highly satisfied. Service is fast & friendly. The staff is super informative & keeps you up to date what your manufactures are suggesting for your vehicle. They check all your fluids, tires, windshield blades. Everything. You can stay in your vehicle or wait inside, they make it super easy & quick. I go here for my oil changes, prices are good & you can even find national coupons that will help with cost. Management is amazing. They defiantly take the stress out of vehicle maintenance for you. So if your in need a car services I definitely would recommend they be your 1st stop. read more

We were traveling on a Saturday and when we got to Tehachapi, we had one very bad tire on our RV and we were towing, the spare tire being mounted underneath made it very difficult to get too, though we could have done it, but it would have taken a long time. We called all tire shops there and one shop that was closing told me to call Jiffy Lube. Since we couldn't buy a new tire due to everything being closed, Jiffy Lube staff came through! every single one of them are professional, and very helpful! I have to say they gave the best customer service; my husband and I couldn't quit talking about how wonderful they were. read more

These guys rescued me. I'm driving across the country (FL to WA) towing a small UHaul trailer rental when a change oil message comes on as I leave Apple Valley. I pull into this Jiffy Lube and ask what I can do. (I don't know how to unlatch the trailer) They totally took charge of the situation and got my Suburban taken care of. Relief!! Never written a review before, but Ron and his team's help warranted one! Me and my fiancée were driving east on the 58 when we unexpectedly ran over a huge wooden block, which dented my rim breaking the seal and flattening my tire. Even the AAA worker who switched on the spare didn't mention the actual damage, but as soon as I brought my car in, Ron identified the issue like a true professional. He went above and beyond in terms of customer service, offered us great advice for local rim/tire help, and even rotated our tires to ensure balance and that the transmission wouldn't be strained from the donut spare. However jiffy lube rewards it's employees, it seriously needs to recognize this A-team they have. If we were local this would be the shop I'd go to for my automotive needs for sure! Being new to the area and in need of an oil change I initially called and spoke to the manager, who's name sorry i don't recall, but was very helpful and gave the impression of a business that was individually owned as opposed to a corporate vending machine. The only off putting vending machine approach was the telephone greeting but once passed that the approach was very genuine both by phone conversation and then in person. When i arrived Cody helped me and was an extension of the same friendly caring approach extended to me over the phone. The service was attentive, friendly, very efficient and appears competitively priced. I was pleasantly surprised that the experience exceeded expectations. The only issue i had was that the reminder sticker for the windshield due date, prints out the day it was done as opposed to a reminder of the date it will be due. Was told it was the way it prints which no other garage has ever been in a position to print it this way. read more

I had a good experience here during the summer when I was allowed to drive my car into the bay and they did my oil change. They no longer allow you to do that. The technician has to get in your car and you have to go into the "lounge quote but I have auto immune issues and can't have people in my truck or go in their lounge. So I will have to drive to another town to get my oil changed. Super disappointing. I give them one star because their service is not accessible with my disability. read more

We've all heard the stories about Jiffy Lube...shorting on oil, not actually changing the oil filter, forgetting to plug the oil pan, etc etc. But I have always had a decent experience with Jiffy Lube the few times I've been in a hurry and needed the convenience of a quick oil change versus going to a real garage. That is until my last visit. I think my mistake was coming in within an hour of closing time, as this crew seemed in a rush to be done for the day. So rushed in fact, that after their complementary brake inspection my brakes were deemed to be in good condition...despite the horrific grinding noise the right rear set was making. These guys let me leave with an obvious brake issue and passed up a $250 (their price) brake job, apparently because they just wanted to go home for the day. Truth is I would have scheduled to come back another time anyway. No worries, the professional crew over at The Tire Store took great care of my problem, and for $100 less. The Tire Store also earned all of my future oil changes and automotive repair business. read more

I was camping for the weekend off grid and got a flat tire. It was Sunday, and they were the only auto shop open in the en tore town. The guys here, specifically Ron, went above and beyond to help me with my flat tire- from holding the single tire I needed to saving me the cost of a new tire by salvaging my flattened tire and showing me the screw that had popped it. The level of honesty and transparency to support me, the customer, was so refreshingly kind and genuine. Honestly, 10/10 service. ABSOLUTE GREATEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! We got a flat on the highway, 10 minutes out, had AAA put the donut tire on, and called ahead to jiffy lube to tell them we were coming. They closed at 6pm we got there probably 10-15 minutes prior to closing and they helped us out no problem. Ended up having damage to the rim that they couldn't repair, Ron (the assistant manager) and his team gave us a tire rotation so that the donut was in the back to keep our FWD In better control and gave us suggestions on how to proceed home back to Vegas safely, with tips on how often to stop. Very friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable. We highly suggest this location! read more

Went to this location to have my brakes replaced because at a different location they told me I needed new brakes but at the time I didn't have the money to do it. Decided to come to this one when I had money and Ray the mechanic inspected my brakes and discovered that they are still pretty much brand new. He showed me my break pads and put a gage on it. I could've just trusted the first location and got my brakes replaced for no reason and would've been out $500. These guys are honest and didn't charge me a dime for the inspection. I had the oil changed on my car in February. Great service. I went there today to have them check the fluid levels and air pressure on my car because my dash lights alerted me to some issues. I went there and waited for someone to assist me. I counted four guys on deck; one on the phone, one leaning on a stair rail and two who disappeared into the office. I was getting ready to leave because I had been there for almost (I know it doesn't seem like a long time) 3-4 minutes before Ron (knight in shining armor music) arrives at work and immediately asks if I had been helped (NO) and then asks if he can assist me. He was great - oh, and he is also the Asst. Manager. He checked all the fluids, had someone check the tire pressure, topped off what needed attention. That is why there are 4 stars- Ron-yep. Took out the undercarriage screws for the sound deadening panel and didn't replace them. Been traveling with Gorilla tape until getting more screw's from Amazon. Didn't reset the warning for the oil change so every time I start the car the car chimes at me. Quite annoying all around. read more

The service I received this morning was the best service I have received, probably ever. I have always received wonderful service from here; they take such good care of me, no matter my car concerns!! The men here are gentleman, and fast and hard working. I was in an out in ten minutes, and when I had to get out of my car, they even held open doors and shut them for me - even my car door! They came around and cleaned my windows for me, something I wasn't expecting at all, and were overall very friendly.
