I brought my car to this place in town to look at it. He did me a diagnostic for 150$ on why it…read moredidn't start. He said there was an issue with the fuze so he wanted to install a bypass wire to just get the car started, which would of been just a grounded wire straight to the battery to start the car, not a permanent fix but would be an inconvenience to start it every time and he was going to charge me 2,000$ for it. Then he stated the car gave him two codes one for the crank shaft position sensor and cam shaft sensors and now he's telling me the engine is wrong so it would be another 1,000$ I decided to take my car out of there and he charged me 300$ for nothing ! He didn't fix my car and charged me two diagnostics. Anyways I took my car to another mechanic in Lancaster and he figured it out and so the vehicle had a GPS/kill switch from the dealer ship. There was a faulty wire or some kinda of issue with it and he removed the dealership GPS/kill switch and did a little rewiring to let the car start naturally, by doing that they fixed my car and removed the crank shaft and cam shaft sensor codes. Essentially fixing the car completely for a low cost of 220$. Meanwhile AA advanced mobile mechanics wanted to charge me up to 3,000$. Clearly they like to rip people off! Anyway, Thank You J&J Electric and Auto repair for fixing my car.

Luis, the shop owner agreed my car needs a radiator swap but he still insisted to check just in case. He found the radiator intact but only the hose is blown and needs replacement which cost a fraction of the original quote. Luis got it fixed and tested in less than an hour. We were so glad, we also got an oil change for our Rav4. I have 10 other concerns that Luis checked and made sure the car is safe to drive home to Orange, Ca. I lost power and was stuck on the side of HWY 395. Waiting for a tow truck and being far from home I went to Yelp to find a mechanic and yet again Yelp did not let me down. Hundreds of 5 star reviews, for good reason. I called and Jeremy picked up right away, was courteous, professional and told me to have the tow truck bring it down and they will prioritize it bc im a traveller, he said he'll having me up and going in no time, unless it was a catastrophic failure. So even though id be passing by many other shops on the way in I knew this is the place I had to go. I was met by Brett with a smile and a firm handshake at the shop and immediately he grabbed his scan tools and said lets go check it out! Wow! Long story short, his expertise immediately led him to the culprit, a loose battery terminal! To think, all this caused by such a seemingly innocuous problem. How many techs would have solved that issue so quickly I thought, and what would they cost me in time and money to solve it. He told me to drive around a bit, and see if the issue came back, and if not, take care and safe travels! I tried to follow him into the building and pay him for his time and expertise, I was truly thankful. He told me not to worry about it, if I knew people from the area to send them their way. I then tried to offer to buy them lunch and he replied they just had lunch but thank you for the offer. Murphy's saved our vacation! Our MB Sprinter RV broke down on the way to Yosemite, we had a kid and…read morea newly adopted pound puppy, and it was hotter than heck! I called Murphy's (several times I might add) and Nicole picked up the phone each time and was as sweet as can be. This happened in the afternoon, by the time we were towed it was after hours, they stayed late to ensure they got our RV inspected and, in the queue, for service. Not only that, Nicole drove, out of control car sick puppy and all to the hotel. In the late morning the next day they had our RV up running and ready to go. Nicole came back and picked us all up too! They didn't have to do any of that, but they went above and beyond. They gave us a more than fair price for the work performed and we will not hesitate to take the RV to Murphys again.
