I have been getting all of my oil changes for all of my vehicles here. I just found out that they do inspections so this is the first time that I got my car inspected. If I could leave 0 stars I would. First of all the place is advertised as 15 minute oil changes. Things happen, there are cars coming in with different issues, okay no problem. But when i get there i show them the estimate i got for my oil change which was $82. Guy tells me no its gonna be $104 because your car needs a different oil. Okay no problem, i figured it would be more than the estimate. I then proceed to wait an hour before my car is even seen and then after waiting all that time a different gentleman comes to tell me its gonna be $164. I tell them no I was told $104. Then the lady comes in to try to explain to me that the $104 was a pretaxed price. So the tax comes out to $60? And i wasted more than an hour there? Be more transparent and competent please and don't scam people read more

I didn't like this Jiffy Lube for a long time based on an altercation I had maybe 2 years ago and was driving all the way to floral park until.... One of the employees asked me if I had a coupon. Which I did. It was around 4 months ago. Anyway I needed an oil change and went in Friday morning and was looking forward to the most important question. They didn't ask me if I had a coupon so I had to tell them. They were skeptical and I was confused because you guys email me the damn coupons but it worked out. And the Spanish guy with the glasses was very polite and patient and I liked his attitude. Visit Date: Unsure I went here at the end of August for an oil change. I needed to get it done because hubs was driving my car to Vermont for a trip. The staff was friendly, the service was quick and I appreciated it but I absolutely HATE drive through car repair/oil change service so I probably won't be back again. This country gets lazy enough with moving around sometimes we don't need to sit it in our cars like blobs while our cars get worked on. So I guess for some it's convenient but this is something I will forever not like. The only times drive through is justifiable to me is if a person has limited mobility or you're a mom with your kid in the car otherwise it's not needed. read more

Went to this facility for an oil change for my 2017 Ford. The service was fast and the employees were courteous. They pointed out to my that my car's coolant level was low and it was refilled. This showed me that the service people were actually looking out for other systems on my car, other than the oil. This facility is convenient to my home and I use it for both of my vehicles. The customer service over all is excellent and the service men are professional and trustworthy. Being a woman that is something that is very important to me. Just an oil change. Not impressed that they knew from my online reservation EXACTLY what grade/type of oil my car required. Yet, when I got there, they didn't have it. I was not pleased. When you have a new vehicle (2022), the grade and type of oil is very important. In addition, the guy told me that my antifreeze needed replacing. Really? The car is 18 months old and has less than 15,000 miles on it. I had just checked it myself. Subaru recommended #10 Subaru Super Coolant. 1st replacement interval is 11 years/137,500 miles. 2nd replacement interval is 6 years/ 75,000 miles after the 1st. I refused the antifreeze because I knew what was recommended by the manufacturer. Then he said I should at least top it off for an extra $$$. NOT! It wasn't low! I don't like to feel scammed. I was trying to give them my local business. Not happening here again. So sad. Wish I could have recommended them, but I cannot. read more

I took my car for a routine radiator flush and oil change. I left the lot and the car started over heating. on top of that the oil light went on for the first time ever since owning my car. I received a call today from a person saying to be the owner then saying he was the Magee. he told me his empl put in vegetables oil into my car. he then went ahead apologized and trying to walk me the how I should fix it. he got his mechanic on the phone telling me to trouble shoot my car. long story short. they were the rudest people in the world. they totaled my 2016 Dodge caravan with less than 50k miles. stay far away from them. read more

To whom it may concern Yesterday day I went to jiffy lube on w Merrick blvd in valley stream ny. I was totally disappointed with the service. I came in for a oil change and a top off of anti freeze cause my reservoir was low. After my oil change went to work and noticed smoke coming from my hood. I opened my hood and discovered my cover was not put back in place.anti was all over my engine and the anti freeze reservoir cap was missing. I went back to jiffy lube on W Merrick blvd in Valley Stream ny to ask them why these items was place improperly and missing. They apologized for their work but did not have my cap for the reservoir or the screw for the shield. Jiffy lube proceeded to give me a cap from some other car and they replaced the screw for the shield.this is not the first time jiffy lube forgot to put things back into place. I believe this is my second time at this location and I might make this my only location. Jiffy Lube is open 7 days a week. Yes!!!! Sundays As I pulled in the back I was greeted by a friendly staff member, his hospitality was great. I walked into the waiting room and waited to be called. The waiting room was very clean, the seats wasn't comfortable at all but hey had coffee and water a unisex restroom and a TV that was playing old westerns. This was on a Sunday afternoon. Aziria called me and ask what services was I getting. I explained just an oil change. They pretty much already had all my info and the type of oil I used from the last time I received an oil change and asked if I was to use the same oil. They gave me a price and I sat back down in the waiting area. Jeffrey called me a few minutes later to tell me about my carbon filter that was dirty and needed to be changed. At first I told him I will change it myself but then I thought 5 months ago when I was at Jiffy Lube it needed to be changed and I never changed it. So I told him to just change it. He quotes me a Price of $24.99 then realized that the wrong price. The correct price was $29.99 oh well. It still needed to be changed. I told Jeffrey I felt deceived by the dramatic price change lol. Rodney work on my oil change checked the pressure of my tires and everything else that they suppose to check. Aziria checked me out and thank goodness I had a coupon so the price was just right with everything that I had done. I absolutely love the customer service here and definitely will be returning, everyone was friendly and had such a great since of humor. Came in, needing an oil change. This was the only place open at 6pm on the day before thanksgiving. PHEW. The people were extremely accommodating and answered all the questions I had in regards to the oil change. The guy at the counter offered me some different tips on different types of oils, synthetic or not (mind you, I know nothing about cars) and I felt relatively knowledgable after speaking with him. I called ahead before going to the West Merrick Rd. location to see what time they close, I was told they take cars up until 6pm. I arrived at 5:40, there where 3 cars in the bays but no other cars waiting. I pulled up and there were 4 people inside, 2 of them looked at each other and one made a motion that they were closed, did not come out to speak to me or anything.. Just ignored me after that. I have a 2012 Acura TL with approx 79,000 Miles on it which is low mileage because the was not driven often. My son took the vehicle here for a routine oil change as we do often because we maintain all our vehicles. The car was brought in excellent condition, I have NEVER had a problem with the car. This location just did an oil change and did not put the oil plug on properly which caused it to come off and the oil leaked out so the car engine locked up as we were driving on the highway. I was in shock because there has NEVER been a problem with the vehicle. I had it towed to a mechanic who showed me where the oil cap plug should have been to hold the oil and it was not there so the engine was blown and now the car is no good. I struggled driving it back to jiffy lube in valley stream to tell them what happened, the oil light kept coming on so I got oil yo keep putting in the engine just to get it there, when I got there the manager says the problem is there is too much oil, which I explained I keep putting it in because of their negligence it keeps leaking out, then he says when I left the first time which was only 3 weeks prior I should have been looking in the ground for oil leaks!!! Why would I do that for a car that I NEVER had a problem with? And I just got an oil change from this place? They tried to blame everything and everyone else But them!!! They were the last people to service the car and their negligence of not putting the oil plug on properly caused the damage to my vehicle now I'm without the car that I've taken care of all this time. I looked up the value and this similar car is approx $15,000 in value USED!!! Now they want to give me the run around and not take the responsibility of what they did. I made a complaint to their corporate office in hopes and prayers that I can get resolve for this situation. Jiffy lube is supposed to be a reputable company. I'm very upset at this experience and their attitude is irresponsible, ignorant, unprofessional and unacceptable!!! Don't take your car here!!! I am very appreciative of this Jiffy Lube location. It's convenient for people as myself living in Rosedale. I came here for and oil change and I wasn't disappointed. I never am. As many times as I've been here I never had to wait. They are quick and they do the job well. An honest job at that. The staff here is very courteous and professional. They take very good care of the customers. While you wait there's complimentary coffee and water. Also a restroom if needed. And if you're bored, there's a tv that you can watch. So My Daughter brought my Car here the begin of Nov. and that was basically the end of my car. She Paid 76. dollars for the oil change which is crazy, but they didn't put the oil plug back correct and it blew my engine. Store Manager would Not even Phone me and let me know where I stand. Thank you to Heartland Automotive, They Jumped in and got my engine replace and sadly that engine was knocking after just a few days. They sent my car back to the same shop. They use a individuals shop for there engine replacement and then second engine blew, that is what the Mechanic told me. Jiffy Lube is standing by there claim I was my starter. This place is pretty expensive compared to getting your oil done at Walmart or somewhere else you may know. But despite that they were quick and fast nice service and they were able to check my tires and tell me things they noticed. Because of cost i would probably keep going to my local guy I know for $20 (same at Walmart) because the oil change was $50 here read more

I went in the late afternoon on a Wednesday for oil change and tire rotation. Upon pulling into the parking lot I was greeted immediately and directed on where to pull in.
