I rank going to jiffy lube up there with the dentist. Their constant up-selling BS is very annoying. And apparently topping off coolant fluids is an extra $3.99? Isn't that usually included in an oil change? Lastly they keep you there too long. If it's not busy it takes 15-20 minutes but if it's busy you can expect to be there for a good half hour, which is too long. Look I know going for an oil change isn't supposed to be fun but I've been to places where the experience us okay. This jiffy lube ain't one of them. read more

The service was good but they did not have the parts and it took a long time to get them. I had to wait for about 3 hours to get brakes, oil and tire rotation done. They were all very friendly but I'm very disappointed that they did not tell me about some specials on their website. I had a very small coupon and it would have been nice if they would have told me to download a different one that would have saved me more money. I will use them again for oil changes but probably never for brakes. read more

I took my car there for an oil change today, I handed over my keys to the dread guy and he looked at me and tell me I look fine , this first impression threw me off but I left it at that. I was told about my windshield had some cracks on it and was told it can be repaired so they asked for my insurance card so when I open the door to go in the glove compartment I noticed a Computer chip on the ground, I immediately asked where is this from, they said that my car was vacuum which made me suspicious and start looking to see where the chips could've come from being that when I gave the key and exit the car there was no computer chip on the ground. the manager later exam it and determine that the chip came from a car key. I say A car key because I would've never thought it would come from the car key that I handed over being that I gave in tact and it was working, I kept the chips and a few minutes later the manager came to me and said the keys not working and asked for the chip I immediately went to see what's going on and the manager placed the chip inside the key and got the car running. After I left I called another auto place and ask them would a the key work without the chip and they said no the car has to read the chip so he clearly lied knowing that's not true but my thing is whoever had the key probably obviously broken so my thing is it's an accident so the only thing I expect from them is just to be honest and call it a day. my conclusion could be that the guy that was hitting on me being that I didn't give him attention maybe he broke it intentionally and took out the chip because he was the one that vacuum the car. ALL I WANT TO SAY IS THE MANAGER IS A LIAR AND SOME OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE UNPROFESSIONAL I now read the other reviews and I'm angry at myself for not reading it before I went there. DONT GO THERE To follow up.. . The regional manager called me to follow up on my review... a complete waste of time, he's a clone of the store Manger, completely ignorant, he justified that there's nothing wrong with why my car key's computer chip was found on the ground. His way of not answering my question or provide me with an answer is for him to ask me the question is if I know, Obviously that's why am asking him who represent the company to find out what happened but this is what happens when you deal with illiterate people. He talk as if he knows the manager and staff at that location like the back of his hand. So obviously when issues like this happens there's no accountability, no one admits wrong doing and as a customer you can go screw yourselves. LET THIS BE A WARNING IF YOU GO THERE AND ANYTHING GOES WRONG, YOU GO THERE AT YOUR OWN RISK INCASE SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED. One last thing, For one I don't know why bad things like this always happen to me but what I can say is God know I'm going to always be the voice for others and the regional manager stated that this never happened before " that's what he says" so whether if this was the first or fifteenth time, that computer chip is proof that person slipped up and is evidence that of what happened, so if I had gotten back my keys with the chip still in it I would have never known it was opened or removed so who knows how long this has been happening for. I visited this Jiffy Lube last weekend. Had to get an oil change, and see what other necessary services i might need, as my car was overdue for a service. I called some days prior to find out if i need an appointment to come in, but the gentleman on the phone, politely said no. It's a first come, first serve basis. Which was great as i needed to be in and out. From the time i drove up, the employees were very friendly and welcoming. They informed what i needed and we went from there. It was a quick, easy service. They forgot to close my filter stuff on the inside, i happened to be around the area and just pulled up. One of the guys, put it back in for me and apologized with no hassle. I usually get my car washed here often, so this was my first time using the auto-shop. gotta tell you I went to Jiffy Lube yesterday and was really blown away by the level of service, friendliness, and, not just meeting but far exceeding my expectations. First I drove up and was greeted immediately. Was escorted into the waiting area and offered some coffee (wasn't bad). When they examined my car they found 2 cracks in the windshield...asked for my insurance information and repaired both of them at no cost. I was out of there in about 25 minutes...guys are total pro's. I live in Mercer County but work in Newark...I will keep coming here...you get in...get done...get out...no problem. read more

One of the best experiences I've had at a service establishment in a long time! The staff is so friendly and welcoming here! I felt welcome immediately when I arrived. Everyone I interacted with was so nice and helpful. They explained in detail what service was needed / recommended for my car. They did a thorough inspection of the car to assess what was needed as well before discussing it with me in great detail. I did not feel pressured to purchase all the services they recommended. Turnaround time was quick, despite how crowded it was. I felt that the prices here were far more reasonable than what I was being charged at my dealership. The quality of the service was as great as the quality of their customer service. The customer service I received was a hundred times better than what I've gotten at the dealership that I had been taking my car to for service. I will definitely be coming back here and will recommend this Jiffy Lube location to friends and family! read more

On the way to DC I stopped and got an oil change. I supplied a case of synthetic oil purchased at Costco to not have to pay the $79.99 steep price. They attempted to upsell me on rear brakes and a replacement fog light. Less than a week later my oil was empty since they had only hand-tightened the oil plug and it had loosened, leaking all of the (synthetic) oil. When I looked for the remainder of the case, I realized they had not returned the remainder (1/2 box), and didn't see fit to call and tell me I had "forgotten" it. In the process of "checking" my air filter (which is a high-end reusable one) I later noticed that the cold air intake connector had been cracked, which caused my check engine light to come on soon afterward (along with the need to replace the part). read more

Aside from the repeated criticism regarding the Window Repair Service (which even after I suggested that my insurance did not cover, the salesperson insisted that it would be free regardless), I've also experience the constant attempts to sell this service and this add-on and this and that to the point of overbearing. I've also used other Jiffy Lube locations across NJ and typically my oil change and any addition work is done within 30 to 45 minutes; here, I've waited upwards of 2 hours while the crew found additional things to add-on or suggest repairing. I went in for my wife 2015 tucson oil change.10 minutes later the guy calls me in to give me pricing detais in which I agreed.another 15 minutes later calls me again to notify me that the right headlight bulb was out and to replace it would be $39...I agreed to go ahead to replace it.than another 5 minutes later calls me again to tell me if I wanted to replace the bulb would be $59 because they priced me on the wrong part.so at that point I felt I shouldn't even be there ,so I declined the service but he kept saying if I went to hyunday I would pay way more.I told him to finish the oli change and to give back the bulb in wich he did.so when I went to pay for the bill a mechanic comes up to me and told me to go next door parts store and buy a generic brand bulb for around $25.so I told him no I paid for the oil change and went to PEP BOYS on rt 22 .I found the exact bulb for $29 made by PHILLIPS.before I was to open the new pack,I went in and tried back the bulb that they told me wasn't functioning and to my surprise the bulb was working fine.my conclusion is .for my wasted time and aggravation.VAUXHALL JIFFY LUBE STOP PLAYING STUPID GAMES WITH YOUR VALUABLE CLIENTS. read more

All these negative reviews are right on the money. This place is terrible. I have been a customer here for a long time, but the current service has caused me to now look for another option for oil changes. I had my Subaru serviced last month and the "technician" allegedly topped off my automatic transmission fluid. When the car was delivered to me I put the car in gear and nothing, then wham! The car slammed into gear. By now I was in traffic. I limped around the block and came back to be told that the "technician" had not put the car in gear to allow the fluid to circulate through the system. I don't know yet if the car has been damaged, but I was given a "sorry about that" and sent on my way. My daughter had her oil changed a couple of weeks ago and sprung for the tire rotation because one of her tires tripped the sensor for low inflation. She got the car home to discover the light was still on. They never checked tire pressure, part of their "Signature" service. She returned, the tire was filled, and got a "sorry about that" and sent on her way. One week later she left her car in the driveway and next day discovered a huge oil puddle on my freshly sealed driveway. I took the car back, read the staff the riot act, and discovered the "technician" used an incorrect washer on the oil pan plug. Once again, "sorry about that". I told them that I have multiple cars serviced by them. You would think they would say, "Sorry about that, but hey, the next one is on the house". I'm done. They have lost my confidence in their ability to service my family's vehicles. Steer clear of this place. Sorry about that, Jiffy Lube... read more

Staff were fighting and bickering among themselves. They also do the usual upsell that you get in these kinds of places. Location is convenient enough I suppose. Lots of these places use low quality oil and filters so I don't recommend it unless you are in a real pinch. I'm not sure it saves that much time anyway, you could wait an hour in this location. It's not one where you stay in the car. This is a troubled branch. read more

Well let me start off my saying my first bad experience was when I got a oil change and I need windshield wipers so I purchased them.The next day it rained and to my surprise they never put the new ones on!!! I was pissed. Second time I went to get an oil change and when I left my maintenance require light came on when I go as pulling off thought it was going to go off the next day,a week later my husband checked and said my oil was as low so I had to buy oil to put in and it still was on so I called them they tried to blame everything but them.I had my recipet and the date said 5/15/2017 and the manager I'm guessing telling me it was a month and a half ago ummmm it's 5/21/2017 smh I would never go there again!!! read more

Friendly service from the actual mechanics however the receptionist was more of a robot as she was stating the service that was "done". With that being said, she stated that my car was vacuumed cleaned my windows and air put in my tires. The vacuuming was pathetic to say the least, they 100% did not touch the windows and my tire pressure is not was is listed on the summary sheet.They said they changed my oil and top off all of my fluids but did they really? Couldn't stay to get this all rectified as I was tight on time but a person a few ahead of me had the same issues :/ Second time coming, 99.9% sure I wont be returning. read more

Thankfully, I knew the car's service records pretty well, so I was able to sort between what I did and didn't need among what they were recommending. This was my first time at this location. My mother had a horrible experience at another location, so I was skeptical. I was in a rut and badly needed my oil changed and wipers. Upon driving up, I was immediately greeted. After finding out what service I needed, I was walked to the waiting area. The receptionist was pleasant. I can imagine repeating the needed statement can be annoying, but she does it with a smile! It was pouring raining that day, and the mechanic even walked me to my car. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Zero stars. I have a compartment to the left of my steering wheel that I keep $1 bills in, the bin was full when I brought my car in for an oil change and when I got in my car I thought to myself how I forgot to take them out (I normally always remove any cash or belongings from my car before being serviced) when I got back into my car they were ALL GONE! I went back into the building to tell the manager and he said he would check the video tapes, he called me later on saying that there were 4 different people working on my car and there was one guy in my car for longer than the others but there is nothing he can do about it because the cameras are meant to watch them servicing the vehicle and not inside the vehicle. No apology nothing! He then continued to say "if it even happened here" it was no more than $10, but that's not what matters $10 is $10 and no employee should be stealing out of a car that they are servicing and the customer is paying for that service. It was my own fault for leaving it there, but it just goes to show you DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! Especially is the employees are willing to risk their job over such a small amount of money, but they are obviously getting away with it! read more

With regards to the "FREE WINDSHIELD REPAIR SERVICE" it is, by far, the biggest con going...Every customer is basically coerced into this "free" service , then finding yourself on a conference call with your insurance co. so that Jiffy Lube can be paid some unkown amount for a servicet that's already been done...Assured by Jiffy Lube that the cost is free you later find out through phone calls that this is now an "incident" on your policy which at some point YOU WILL PAY FOR. In addition the company used which is "CLEARSHIELD" located in Utah, is not a guaranteed co. by most insurance companies... I'm now in the process of filing compaints with "Consumer Affairs" and Corporate Jiffy Lube... Every customers claim should be invalidated and sent to their perspective insurance company.......DON"T FALL FOR THIS UNETHICAL PRACTICE! I've been a customer for 25 yrs. on 2 family cars...I will never return again... 8/2/2014 UPDATE This is an update to the review of 6/26/14. My complaint was acknowledged and settled to my satisfaction. The company was prompt, courteous, understanding, and made note of my criticism with a genuine interest. We had our routine oil change done and feel taken advantage of. The technician said there was a free service to also fill any cracks in our windshield which we opted for. On our way home we got a call saying that this service would need to be paid for by our insurance company which in turn would make our rate go up. We were able to have the company to void the charge but they were not honest with me when i was at Jiffy Lube. They didnt lie but they also failed to tell the full truth. I have a 20-year-old car with over 250,000 miles on it. The car needs at least a dozen cosmetic repairs, not to mention some other "minor" repairs. The guys at Jiffy Lube quickly realized I was only there to get my oil changed. Tim and Mitch were great and very helpful. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. The only reason I do not give it 5 stars is because of the price. $65 seems a little steep for an oil change. Otherwise I am happy with the service. read more

I went in for a routine oil change and was told about a free "windshield protection service that insurance companies are encouraging because it prevents damage". I asked a number of times if I would be charged for this and they said absolutely not. I got a phone call from the windshield company a few hours later asking me to stay on the line while they connected to Geico (my insurance) to make sure they receive payment for the rock chip repair in my windshield. When I explained that I was not told of any damage, the company told me to just tell geico the damage was first noticed today and all would be fine. Once connected to a three-way call, I could not in good faith lie to my insurance company when asked about windshield damage I was never aware of. The woman from the glass company hung up mid-call and geico explained that they normally waive deductables for this sort of damage, but that jiffy lube was not being honest about the service. I called the glass company and was told that I would not have to pay anything and that they would be calling that jiffy lube to inform them they would not be getting paid for the service. She explained that in order to fix a repair, they had to make me aware of damage by telling me about it and showing me. This is a clear scam on the part of this Jiffy Lube. There were at least ten other costumers there while my car was being serviced and they were all getting the same push for the windshield service. There must be a lot of rocks on Vauxhaul. I intend to go in tomorrow and speak to the manager about this, in addition to warning others. If you want the service, make sure you have them show you the actual damage. read more

I had the worst experience at Jiffy Lube today and felt totally taken advantage of. The sensor on my car went off stating "oil pressure, shut car off"last night. I decided to take my vehicle to Jiffy Lube to access the problem. The "manager" on duty looked at my car and stated that there is no oil in the car. I was totally shocked by this because less two months ago they completed an oil change. Mind you I use my car for work and back for maybe 35 miles total a day. In a rush to get to work I agreed to have them put oil in my vehicle. THE WORST MOVE EVER... BUT A LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR ME.... I was charged a total of $100.00 for service which I paid for (I KNOW). After leaving Jiffy Lube I realized that I was changed for another oil change. Why would I need another oil change than months after receiving one. I called and spoke to a "Manager" who was less that helpful. My issue is 1. Why would another oil change be completed less than 2K miles from last service, 2. Are we so hard up for $ these days that basic customer service goes out the door, 3. If I was a dude would the outcome be different, 4. Basic courtesy and understanding goes a long way than oh well. I so wish this experience could have been better but like jiffy lube says "oh well" and I will never go back there and hope others would stay away as well. read more

I wish I had read the reviews prior to bringing my car here. I got a coupon in the mail for a 24.99 oil change, I brought my car in and stated that I had the coupon and I was told to present it at the end. Shortly after they pulled my car into the garage the same guy who told me to present the coupon at the end came out and said that I also needed my air filters changed and the chips in my windshield filled. After saying no to both of these the guy talked to me like I was a child while explaining that my windshield was going to crack soon and that I would be liable. I should have gotten in my car and left at that point, because quite frankly once a person says "no" that's it, no others words should be exchanged, and I certainly should not feel like I am being pressured into having work done on my car. He then began to show me oil options in which again, I showed the coupon saying I wanted the 24.99 oil change and he said that the coupon actually is 15 dollars off any oil but that my car had too many miles to just get the basic oil, thus I needed the $64.99 oil and with the coupon it would be $49.99. I wanted to trust the guy because after all he works for a body shop and I know nothing about cars but I also felt like I was being taken advantage of. So I asked him to clarify again the oil I needed and he said once you go over 70,000 (I drive a 2002 CRV), that more expensive oil is needed. However, it wasn't like my car was not going to accept this "basic" oil and I feel he manipulated it to make it seem like that was the case. I can't help but feel like if I was a man then he would have just given me the $25 oil change without all of the hassle about other repairs and more expensive oil. As it was, I had to tell him that my dad told me to just get the oil changed. After I said that, he dropped the bs about other repairs. I have not been to other jiffy lubes but I would not recommend this location. read more
