When I returned, they replaced only one front rotor under warranty. After a third visit for the same braking noise/vibration, I was told the problem was my rear brakes, even though those had been replaced only three months earlier at another shop. I then went to three independent shops, and all confirmed the real issue was a warped front rotor (the one not replaced the second time I brought it in). This should've been fixed the second or third time I brought it in. Instead they shifted blame to another shop, in which their work was confirmed to be fine. And for the price I paid, I shouldn't have had to bring it in multiple times for the same issue. Still after three visits and over $1,300 spent, my issue was still not properly fixed. The only good thing about this experience was that it was under warranty, and another shop was able to fix my brakes properly. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting this shop, and if possible save your time and go elsewhere.

Ac compressor failing…read more With that information, I called Christian brothers automotive, requested a temporary ac recharge and said I do not want a compressor replacement, the desk representative asked me to come in, said he could get the recharge done and additionally give me a quote for my own knowledge since it's been 4 years. I get there, price is still $1400 for a compressor, $2500 for complete replacement as expected. I decline the work and ask to continue with the recharge, he then tells me No, and the reasoning behind is it falls under a OSHA violation. You need to tell me this information before I waste time coming to your shop hoping I'll purchase a $1500-2500 repair instead of wasting my time. I understand business but that is wrong.

He's never hit me with weird fees and is always upfront with what he thinks the project is going to be. He also does a really good job in explaining what's actually going on with your car. He's also upfront with whether there's a clear repair or if there's trouble shooting. The only issue with going to Brent is that he's super busy and you're not going to get the same turn around that you would in a commercial shop; but I just see that as the trade off for honest service and reasonable pricing. The transparency is so nice. I've been going to him for years. He's the only person I trust with my pink bug and he needs more press.
