Did a poor job of being professional and making sure everything was working correctly. Did not put dipstick back in engine completely and did not take the time to make sure. Upon returning home to PA in Virginia we get a bad oil smell and smoke from engine most of the Oil had come out through dipstick . Thank goodness we were near and exit . I inserted the stick properly spent another almost $50 for Synthetic Oil. She promises to get back to us and issue refund but every time I've called she says she was too busy to take care of the situation. Terrible Service could've caught fire or blown an engine. When I showed up, it was about 11.30 am and the place looked hoppin', so much so that I took what appeared to be one of the last free parking spots. Since I didn't have an appointment, I was afraid this would mean I would spend most of my afternoon waiting. When I walked in, I was immediately spoken to, and given a chance to explain my situation. The man I talked to was very polite, took my key and invited me to have a seat and wait while they checked it out. The waiting area had these neat flashy bench seats from some kind of old car. The lounge area was spacious, filled with reading material and even had a tv. I only got through about half of an episode of NCIS before the same nice man was tapping me on the shoulder and handing me back my keys. "It's all ready to go!" I was surprised at how quickly the problem had been assessed and solved. When I went to the register to pay, he smiled and motioned me on. "Don't worry about it." I stood there in total shock and said thanks, while he wished me a nice rest of the day. When I stepped outside, my car was waiting for me with a nice newly plumped tire. I went back the following day after calling to verify i could come in where they said they would get me on and i could come before or after later in the evening. It turns out they couldnt see it so they could keep my car overnight. Ended up the next day they told me there was an issue with my coolent which ended up costing an additional 350 dollars to fix. I didnt think that i would need to pay since everything was perfectly fine prior to the tires getting changed. Also it turns out that the tire they had replaced one of the tires had a bent valve that was leaking air. they claimed they fixed it but checked just the other day and my tire is once again low they just filled it to make it look like everything was fine. Would not recommend this place almost 1k bucks for them to fix an issue that they caused.

While changing the oil they inspected my car and found a few issues with the tires I mostly knew about. He offered to send a quote to replace one or all tires & TPMS sensors ( which my 13 yr old car was needing ) I liked that they quote through a text link so you can see the cost and everything associated with the repair. You can decline the service or accept it. We talked about tires and sensors and ultimately decided to go with a better tire than quoted. They priced the cost and labor very competitively and I approved the service. There was no pressure at all during this transaction. Just information and options. I definitely was happy to find Turnage Auto Care, Tyler and Aaron. I'll be bringing both of my Hybrids to them from now on!
