I had a very disappointing experience here. The pricing on parts seemed way higher than normal--when I compared it to other sources, it looked like they were marking parts up around 40-50%. When I asked about it, they explained it as "price markup," but it felt excessive and not justified. I understand businesses need to make a profit, but this level of markup didn't sit right with me, especially without clear upfront transparency. It gave me the impression that customers are being overcharged on parts. Because of that, I chose not to move forward with the work. Called like 5 other shops in the 2Notch/ForestDrive area bc my car just kept dying while driving. Lost all power, no flashers/brakes/power steering too. I need my car so none of the shops I called could've got me in until minimum next day. Precision Auto got me in within 1hr booking appt. online. Diagnosed issue in 1hr. Fixed my entire issue in 1hr (3hrs tops). New battery terminals + crankshaft position sensors. Car drives brand new. Shifts better. Doesn't rattle/vibrate. Better acceleration & ofc doesn't die. Entire invoice less than the average $$. The guys are nice and I'll def be coming here for anything. Two of my go-to shops in West Cola shut down after Covid (Those PPP loans lmao). Amazing staff. We were traveling from Cleveland to Florida. Pulled into the hotel in Columbia and had a grinding noise coming from front tire. Called Precision and they said bring it in. It was closing in 30 minutes and we were amazed they took us. Eddie looked at tire and found a large stone wedged between rotor and dust shield. Fixed it and didn't charge us. HORRIBLE. Brought car in for inspection and given a estimate of $965. for rear shocks. Made a appointment to have repaired. Then told it would be $1800. and that THEY quoted the wrong price on parts. Refused to honor their estimate. If they can't quote correct price why would I think they're capable of doing the job correctly? Don't waste your time even driving over there! read more

Awesome down to earth real car service!!!! This is my 2nd time here and nothing but great arrive I get my oil changes here for under $30. They check all fluids and tire pressure,front desk ladies are awesome! I was coughing and one of the mechanics even gave me cough drops (that actually work!) I had to have my catalytic converter replaced while visiting elsewhere in South Carolina, and I was on the highway back to Georgia when I kept hearing this scraping sound. Pulled over and saw something hanging down from the bottom of the car. I called the Two Notch Road location in Columbia, and Josh said to bring it in. They had it up on the lift in minutes and quickly attached the two pieces of plastic that were hanging. And since I was there, I asked if they could also fasten part of the bumper that was loose near the wheel well. No problem. They fixed that as well. And then -- they didn't charge me anything! These are great guys -- and honest. They could have charged who knows what, but they were generous, kind and honest. I would make them my go-to in a heartbeat if I lived in the area. read more

Went two days in a row. The first day they would not do an oil change because it was 4:30 p.m. and they close at 5:00 p.m.-- understandable. Next day I went at 4:00 and the representative said they would not do an oil change at 4:00 p.m. I asked why and he said because he wasn't going to do one. I asked what time they closed and he said 6:00 p.m. -- no rhyme or reason to why I could not get a change. There will not be another visit. read more

I'm in the military and they gave me a great deal on my 100K service. Honda wanted over $1,200 when they did everything and then some for just over $500. They service is great and they actually call you when they are done. The ONLY flaw I found is the location, it's hard to get in and out during high volume traffic times. read more

I went there for an oil change and for them to check my ac. They didn't put the sticker on to inform of when I need to come back. They told me my AC wasn't working and said they would charge me $1000 to get fixed. I got a second opinion from another mechanic and was told it was just my compressor plug that was unplugged! read more

Buyer beware. My daughter is going to school in Columbia and when her vehicle broke down, she brought it here to get the ignition fixed. They then gave her a list of half a dozen other things that also needed repairs to the tune of over $1700. I spoke to him on the phone and he said, "Sir, at least get the upper control arm fixed, it's a safety issue." I resisted though he did have me concerned...they fixed the ignition and got her back on the road and we brought her vehicle back home a few days later to Charlotte to trusted mechanic. As it turns out, the ignition cost 2x as much as it should have, and NONE of the other items were needed or even marginal. It was 100% a scam to take advantage of a college girl and her father who couldn't be there to address the issue directly. They're simply dishonest predators. read more

I had my car to precision tune on Two Notch Road just a few days ago and I understand they had a new manager a customer came in had his oil change and it took 2 hours to do the oil change the manager was very rude to the customer through his keys at the customs customs keys at him and told him to get out of a store you don't have to pay for the oil change after 2 hours of waiting without any notice or anything of how long it was going to take to do the service I will never go to Sears and precision Tune Auto Tune ice road again I advise anyone with services dare not to go there another occasion went to to natural position to a store to have service done ask for the tech that was a be working on my car they said an oil take over and it was four major repairs they have no technician there is qualified to work on your car do not bring your car to the season 2 it on Two Notch Road for any service even all changes they will leave your oil shock short leave your cap off don't feel your cooler your windshield washer reservoir know you're cool it now I'll check the impression that it like they say they do they are a poor poor poor repair shop I will never go to proceed until it again never never and I advise anyone else not to go to precision tool because they are big are liars they rip you off over charge you and say you part you don't need and if it's a constant thing happens all the time! read more
