Absolutely do not take your car to Jiffy "Shoddy Workmanship" Lube. They could not perform a simple oil change. They failed to screw the cap to my oil tank back on properly causing oil to splash out over everything and created engine light to come on. My husband thought it to be a good idea to go to them. Bad idea! Not only was it poor work performed but even with receipt and paperwork from my dealership about the problems their crappy business caused, they did not care to offer refund or proper apology. people, if you care about quality and safety for your loved one and car maintenance, skip this shoddy rundown no good place for sure. read more

the overall experience didn't exceed expectations as one would consider given the rep jiffy lube has in totality. the process was pretty quick, the employee working the desk was pleasant. however, one thing that should be noted is when you offer to replace someone's air filter, either accepted or declined by the customer, you have to put the filter in right or the CEL will come on as they have done to me. read more

I really appreciate the manager at this Jiffy Lube location. His name is Jadon. I only went to this location to put air in my tires as the notifications were indicating that the pressure was low in all four tires. That in itself is crazy. But I had explained to him that I am here on vacation and then I will be driving back to San Antonio and had asked his professional opinion of if I need an oil change now (which I am close to needing one) or if I can wait until I get home. He advised that the oil is breaking down but that I can drive home. He did advise to make sure that I got the oil changed as soon as I got there. I really appreciated that. He could've been all about the money and said, "You need the oil change now...and you need to get top of the line of oil." But he didn't. And that I appreciate it. I told him I wish I had cash to give him a tip, but I did not have any, and he said that more than the tip the review would help, I'm writing the review. I really appreciate his professionalism and approachability. He had a very calm demeanor and friendly nature. I could see why he is the manager at this location. I went to my local Jiffy Lube for an oil change, filter and fluids check today. I am pleased with the greeting, the speed of services performed, and the communication of concerns by the service techs and cashier. It's my fault that I did not purchase a cabin air filter from a local auto parts store and install it myself because I was charged $39.99 + tax for their tech to install. I feel that was an expensive mistake, and the reason for the 4-star rating. Note these are new owners because there is no record of my previous visits to this shop. Horrible experience the one time I went in. Perhaps I came on the wrong day, but I walked in to the store & was immediately greeted by a woman yelling at her staff over everything they did. Maybe they were the bad guys, maybe she was. I don't know, I don't care, but as a customer I shouldn't be hearing it at all. The sad thing is then she proceeded to talk trash about her staff/coworkers to the customers. The cherry on top? $100.00 for an oil change. No, go to Checkpoint automotive instead. They'll do a synthetic for 50ish bucks and a regular one for even less. And they actually have a positive environment in there store that stems from an honest goodness. read more

I stopped in for the free brake inspection and they checked it out. They told me I need brake pads and rotors. They told me it would be $330.00 plus tax. Thankfully I couldn't afford it right away. Then I had a friend take a look and he told me I just need brake pads! NOT ROTORS! *Update I just spoke with a supervisor that runs multiple locations. He advised me that it's company policy to advise anyone who needs brake pads to also get rotors even if you don't need them. The only way to get just brake pads done is to demand that they only do pads and they would have to call the guy I just talked to and he would send the employee a waiver for you the customer to sign. I also found out the employee I talked to when I took my car in was David. Now that I understand the company policy I want to say that David was very friendly, he even offered to stay late and get the job done if I wanted it done. He even found out a clunking noise I was hearing was a rock under my car. (See update below) He was very friendly and he did offer me a great deal for the pads and rotors. It was out of his hands to tell me that the rotors were fine. So if you do go to a jiffy lube and you are told brake pads and rotors and you can't afford both. Just know it's possible you don't need rotors and you need to talk to them until they tell you the truth. Remember it's the time of people getting sued for crazy things so this company is just trying to avoid lawsuits. I was told my conversation today is going to change the way they talk to customers meaning they will try to let you know you only need pads and the rotors are a recommendation. So they only reason I'm leaving them 1 star is because I spent three days freaking out that I needed expensive rotors when I didn't. Another note when they told me it was just my brake pads and rotors they said my suspension looked good and I had nothing to worry about. Found out that the noise I was hearing was a control arm and ball joint!!! I recommend before getting work done here have someone else take a look first. read more

Today I did my oil change and I was very impressed with the customer service the employees are friendly, respectful and professional. They follow COVID-19 protocols and I feel very comfortable. All wearing masks, I had to drive my car in feeling safer waiting inside my car during the service and they make sure other customers wear the mask . Great job! read more

The gentleman Manny Gonzelez and Quentin not only got me in- even though they were about to close..but they also were very polite and made sure to do a complete and through job. This was by far the worst experience I've had while getting my oil changed. From the second I got there the person who I interacted with was rude and horrible. Freaked out that I pulled up without a mask on . So I complied and put on a mask about 5 minutes later I lowered the mask to drink water (mind you I'm in a car with the window rolled up and he came opened the car door and told me this was my last warning the mask needed to the fully on at all times . After this I put the mask fully on and sat there he tried the whole you need new air filter bs even though the car is brand new twice and then went back to the hood at this time he looked up and my mask was on but you could see a small amount of the nose he came up opened the car door and said I'm not servicing you anymore .and slammed the car door. As I was driving away he blew me a kiss and flipped the middle finger at me . Took everything in me not not get out of the car and pummel him. I can now see was I was the only car there. The guys name was David and he's HORRIBLE at his job. read more
