Now, I return looking for advice in regards to shoes and marathon prepping. I had a very nice associate this time again but they had never ran a marathon nor did they actually run. The other reps maybe did track? I came on the weekend so I waited over an hour to be seen. I did request training advice when I checked in. I left not accomplishing what I hoped for Overall, I was disappointed. Nice staff though and goodrunning accessories. They don't carry nikes. I guess you may need to get lucky on who you talk to in regards to your goals out of the visit.

Went to here a few times in the past when I still lived in San Ramon, California. As well as better quality since it's like a private owned business and not a public one. The service overall was good at this place as the employees were helpful with guiding us to find stuff we were looking for. As well as helping my brother find a new bike for him to ride after his old one fell apart. When it comes to value that is where the problems set in as to why I am giving this place a 4/5. Lot of the stuff in this store is expensive and I do mean EXPENSIVE. It could be close to like 120 dollars for a pair of shoes which seems to be way more than most other retailers. And most of the other equipment could range up to 200-300 dollars as well which can make it frustrating to figure out what to spend your money on depending on the need. At least the store has plenty of equipment to choose from, as well as a range for you test stuff out and other useful features for equipment you want to rent. But I would only go here as a last resort if you can't go to a Dick's or find good pricing.

First, by the time I found the store, I had no energy to look for myself. I walked for over an hour. Second, I called their number and was put into voice mail HE double hockey sticks. Not pleasant. I just wanted to talk to someone to see if the store was still there. And third, this is the smallest Famous Footwear that I've seen, so it's possible that they may not have as many shoes as other stores. My husband was able to go through and get the shoes that he was looking for. Someone helped him and they were totally nice about it. I can't say that I'd want to come back because the trip to find them took place halfway to a location and halfway back. That much walking wasn't something that I was looking forward to doing. The clerk was so nice and down to earth. I was acknowledged shortly after entering the store and onwards afterwards. Surprisingly they had a lot of really cute trendy shoes, for all walks of life. I bought Steve Madden's "Madden's Girl" combat boots and loafer work shoes. The store clerk let me know if they didn't have my size, that she could order them and have the shoes shipped for free to my home. She also informed me of all of the sales that were going on too. I had to order my Madden Girl combat boots and they came within a week, just like the lady said.
