Love this shop!!! I was looking for a dress for a special occasion that was coming up. Chris helped me out and I did find two perfect options as well as several options for another day! Chris is creative and does an amazing job of pulling things together in outfits. She really loves helping create options which I have no talent to do myself. She was so nice about it as well. I now feel like going back will be as nice as going shopping with a good friend. They offer a very nice variety of high end clothes that are organized nicely, easy to find what you need, and very reasonably discounted. I wanted to buy more items, but realized the shop is close to my home and I can just come whenever I need something! I hate to shop, but now I'm looking forward to it! read more

Went here after finding out the same person owns the higher end shop Closet Couture. This is a reeeally clean and organized store, very easy to shop due to the signage, and great selection on clothing. Got super cute pants, great sweater, top, and necklace for $65.00 which is less than my dinner last night. Go. Shop. You'll look great. read more

I've shopped here for a few years now. For a consignment store, they have a nice selection of fashionable items. I had uncomfortable situation occur on 7/19. Their website shows they open at 10:00 am. I was there at 10:05 and the place was closed. I thought I'd wait, maybe someone was running late. At 10:20, a lady drove into the parking lot. She had a bunch of stuff which she placed at the front door. I was standing there and she didn't acknowledge me. She made a couple of trips to her van and I asked, do you work here? Honestly, I wasn't sure. Long story short, she must have had a bad morning and it showed. She was rude. I said something like 'a little apology would be nice.' That set her off. I ended up leaving without going into the store. I see other feedback has commented on rude attitudes of store help. My advice, if you go here don't show up when they open. Maybe give it 30 minutes afterwards. You wouldn't want to run into a similar situation. It's a shame, this is one of the better consignment stores in the area. read more

This area is really lacking in quality consignment stores. I went in here for the first time looking for an alternative to the mustiness in Walnut Creek. I was ignored by the whining, poorly dressed sales staff while they were being trained to be mean to customers.... Yes you heard that right, the old employee was downloading the new one very loudly in her high nasal pinched voice on all the goings ons about "disgusting customers" in Danville. Apparently the owner thinks everyone who shops here is awful as well, according to the cranky brunette loon, so don't bother complaining to the owner about her own staff. Cute store with hidden jewels inside. The day I went in, I was promptly greeted and welcomed in. I peeked around, truly having no agenda or clothing in mind and found some awesome faux leather leggings from Free People similar to ones I had been eying from Spanx, for less than $30. I also found a cute lacy blouse and a cool retro jumpsuit perfect for summer parties (I stopped in around June). I asked about selling clothes and the stylish blonde I spoke to explained the process of making an appointment, which makes sense. In a well curated and organized store, they probably need to be discerning in their time and in considering items they buy for the interest of selling. I would consider doing that in the future, though the day I dropped by I was looking to buy, not sell. I always love resale stores and the unique treasures you can find with an open mind. A Dress Change - Used, Vintage & Consignment Near Me - Danville, California

I moved to downtown Danville several months ago and have walk by and gone to this shop quite a bit. On my last visit the lady rudely stood in my way telling me dogs were not allowed . I explained I had been in there with him many times and there was never a problems and asked what their concern was and she said the dog might pee. I assured her my well mannered 9 yr old doodle wouldn't do such thing, as she goes to Nordstroms. Bloomingdale's and never has had an accident . Mind you. their carpet is no even brand new . Then she proceeded to talk about me to the other gal, so rude and unprofessional. I told her I wasn't comfortable, and would leave, she said that's a good idea!!!!! I called the owner and explained the situation instead of writing a bad review . Supposedly that gal with no customer service skills is gone but today again I passed by on my walk and the manager once again said no dogs!!! Keep in mind Danville is such a. dog friendly town and I can almost go anywhere and be welcomed. Really should consider taking it case by case, not every dog is going to pee on the carpet and if my dog did such thing, i would take responsibility and pay for the cleaning , that's the confidence I have . While looking for lunch, I saw the open sign at this shop, all I saw was the word DRESS and I need a dress for a wedding next month. So we looped around the block and I was even happier when I saw it was a consignment store! We went inside and were greeted kindly by Michelle. She asked if I was looking for anything in particular, I told her I needed a formal dress. She pointed me in the right direction. I pulled 4 dresses, found a fancy looking material pair of stretch pants, a pair of Spanx stretch pants, two pairs of slacks, a pair of jeans, several tops, and a few pairs of shoes. Time to try it all on. For $268 I left with a brand new pair of Puma shoes, 3 dresses (2 formal, 1 business casual), both pairs of stretch pants, 2 tops, and a pair of jeans. That's less than $30 an item. #winning Oh and the labels on these, I had never heard of. Maybe you'll know: Lafayette 148, Trouve, Jane Street, Leota and MNG. Michelle was all excited for me. Wow, they have amazing designer clothing, handbags, shoes and hats...etc! Go see the owner, Jonni, she is fabulous, just like her merchandise. I couldn't believe the gorgeous Chanel handbags...one of a kind and never even used. Unfortunately, I'm a size 9, because she has a ton of the most beautiful Manolo Blahnik's, again, all new in smaller sizes. Her store looks like Carrie Bradshaw's closet! I bought some Tory Burch flip flops for $40 (also brand new, normally $198). Best resale store I've ever seen and by far the most amazing inventory in this area. Came into this store with brand new, with tags designer dresses (all about $400/piece). I had them in a bag which I stored the dresses in to not collect dust during my remodel. Waited on the woman to finish her chitchat for about 10 minutes. She never acknowledged me, so I went up to her. She looked me up & down, told me blatantly that they do not take clothes that come in in bags (if she only knew what was inside), then proceeded to tell me they aren't taking clothing at this time. I couldn't help but chuckle as I was leaving because while she was chitchatting, I looked through some of their clothing. They have Bebe sweatshirts (from the 90s) with missing rhinestones. I am excited to take my business elsewhere, especially now after reading some of these reviews. read more

You'd never guess this was a consignment store unless you looked at the price tags! It is so attractively decorated and so well merchandise you feel like you've entered a very classy little boutique. The clothing is all in perfect condition, in season, and in current fashion. There's nothing old fashioned and stodgy in the store. The ladies working there were very friendly and helpful. The thing that stood out for me about this store was how incredibly organized they were as reflected by the price tags. Each price tag shows the date the item was consigned and the original price. Then there are two additional dates on the price tag which shows when the price will go down and by how much. So an item consigned today would have todays date and price and tell you when the price would be cheaper. I found a number of beautiful things that just wouldn't quite fit (definitely time for an end of summer diet to get back into fighting shape) that had already been reduced in price twice. I eventually found a beautiful top I could wear to work and my mom bought a very unique necklace which was still at the original price but which mom felt it was well worth. Even the bags they package their clothing in for you to take home are beautiful! This is definitely a must visit shop if you love clothes shopping, and what girl doesn't. read more

If you're on Railroad Avenue you have to stop in and check this boutique out. I had an appointment upstairs and their 40% off rack caught my attention. I got a new, with tags, Michael Kors shirt for $15! Say what?! The store is so well organized by color, size, and type (i.e. shirts, dresses, jeans, etc). They have shoes, jewelry and purses. Good names, designer names. And the prices are reasonable! Friendly and helpful staff. Manager Michelle is delightful and has a good eye for what's flattering and what's not. I recently discovered this consignment store, and since then, I make regular stops to check out the ever changing inventory. This shop has the best selection of clothing in all sizes. They carry slightly used and new clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and travel bags. The owners are a joy to talk to and work with. I think the best thing about this shop is the cleanliness and you don't feel like your in a consignment store, but an upscale boutique. read more

A brunette, looking mid 50s woman acted like my clothes were contaminated and said that they won't accept my clothes just because they weren't on hangers (she specifically said "these aren't even on hangers..."). This store is beautiful. But today I walked in with 4 brand new (tags still on) summer dresses - each averaged $150 retail. I was told by a clerk who did not even look at the dresses that I needed an appointment and they were making appointments 2 months out. These dresses would have sold quickly given the timing of the summer season - and the style. I love consignment shopping! I have seen cuter boutiques that makes you happy when you go in because of the decor. Its my first visit to this store and it did not made me feel as excited. However, couple of hours browsing later, I found so much treasures! Lol! They do have good selection and I find it easy to navigate within the racks which made me keep going :) They are pricier than the other boutiques I visited but if something fits perfect and its in excellent condition, its worth it. The person that was there who I think is the owner, gave me space to shop but checked on me from time to time which I liked.
