Mind you, it was during the time of high mortgage interest rates, and I was concerned that the house would lanquish on the marker for weeks if not months. I needn't have worried. I contacted my agent in IL and she connected me with Franzi Rothe. Franzi called me on the phone and within hours had 6 houses for me to look at. Franzi is very kind, unassuming, down to earth and approachable person. She was patient with the ignorance that I, as an out of state home buyer, brought to the table and explained everything I asked in as much detail as I required. Franzi took me exploring houses from one end of Arizona to the other for what seemed like endless evenings and weekends! She was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process - new listings, follow-ups on offers made, strategies for getting my dream home. In the end I looked at 60+ houses - There were a few times that I became exhausted and when I looked at houses I seemed to have changed my overarching vision. We flew out to Phoenix in January 2009 to look at prospective properties. Carl spent two full days showing us house after house.
