The morning of my appointment, I had a bit of chaos. I was running about 15 minutes late. Then, to add to the disaster , my GPS took me to the old location but still gave the new location address. I immediately contacted Jillian to ask if I should just reschedule, but she told me to come on over. I pretty much was crying by the time I got there, but Jillian was so kind and supportive. Being my mom's caregiver, with no family support, gets overwhelming. Jillian wanted to remind me this was self care and she listened. I was offered a beverage in a beautiful glass. I recently had my first haircut & color with Jillian and from the moment I walked in, I knew this salon was extra special. I was greeted with a personalized note and a delicious tea. I was given a "menu" of services including a quiet appointment or a mirrorless appointment among other thoughtful choices. She sat and talked with me and really took the time to find out who I am and what would make me happy with my hair cut. I was so grateful that Jillian was so courteous to her guests. Her scalp massage and hair wash was divine and truly felt filled with love. I bought a product and the bag came with extra treats! What a surprise! Had a scalp treatment service with Jillian. It was my first time getting this service done and I LOVED it. Spoiler alert, my feedback is all positive! Salon was clean and decor was super cute. Jillian had a little whiteboard at her station that read, "Precious, you are a gem!" which was a small gesture that made me feel special and welcomed. She walked me through how the service was going to go (oracle reading, meditation, shampoo, scalp oils and massage, then style). Oracle card reading and meditation was optional at no cost add on. Card readings and meditation is within my interest so I was open to this. Definitely not a common approach/offering with hair services but I was all about it! The scalp treatment felt luxurious. I remember one of the oils gave me like a minty fresh feeling. And her head massages were 10/10. Also received a nice hot towel over my face. After this part, I got my hair dried and styled. My scalp felt squeaky clean and refreshed. And my hair just looked really nice after this too. Definitely will be coming back for this and a haircut! P.S. Ask her about the Beauty Project! read more
