JimBob's, JimBob's, JimBob's... Not much to say but ill start with the premium service. Cool people with good execution. Now that sauce they have might be the best signature sauce on the market Highly recommend!

Jim Bob's has some delicious chicken. We were in the area for a funeral and needed a quick dinner after a long day of travel. This really hit the spot. It was the perfect Southern stop for out of towners. There was good chicken, bible verses over the tables, and information about gun safety classes! We loved it! I even saw a stray cat in the parking lot and quickly declared that I love the South. The inside of the restaurant has a cafeteria feel. Orders are placed at the counter and then food is brought to the table. The restaurant is fairly large and has quite a few booths and tables for dining. We started with Corn Nugget appetizer which was a large portion for an appetizer. The nuggets were good too. I had the Finger/Wing combo which was a nice way to try the chicken two ways. The chicken fingers had a nice breading on them and the special sauce was really good for dipping. The toast was deliciously buttery. The crinkle fries were good, but not too exciting. My wings were good and I liked the sauce on them. My husband had a Country Fried Steak sandwich that he thought was good.

Loved Jim Bob's Chicken Fingers, I just wonder if Jim Bob had to make a decision in life about opening a business or a church. Jim Bob's has some great food and excellent service for a Mom and Pop chicken finger restaurant. It's a very family oriented, Christian business as you see passages from scripture nearly everywhere within the business. Think Chick-Fil-A was "guilty as charged," just wait 'til you see Jim Bob's. I cracked up because as I left Jim Bob's I saw their catering van parked in front of a church near the Auburn airport. Small world. The service was quick, everyone was super friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Can't wait to return. In the chicken finger business I think of Romans 12:21 "Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil by good," there's some evil chicken businesses out there, then there's the good of Jim Bob's. Enjoy.

    Clean restaurant.

Service was fast and friendly. Serving size was descent, and the food was good. Restaurant was also very clean.

They have a drive-thru if you're in a hurry. Their fried chicken finger burger sandwich was amazingly delicious and heavy. If you're a girl, skip the fries. The burger is more than enough for you. The service here is wonderful and they're really great at giving you suggestions on what other people order here. Their special sauce on the chicken tenders tasted like thousand island sauce but warm and sizzling. The chicken tenders were warm, soft, and perfect. It's fried fingers without layers of cooking oil.

Hands down 2nd best chicken sandwich ever! Better than any chain. I also loved the onion rings, catfish, coleslaw, and jalapeño cornbread

Family atmosphere with great chicken and good sauces. My favorite dish is the grilled chicken fingers with unsweet tea.

It is definitely on my Alabama "must-visit" list. I am from out of town, but I came looking for a workspace and wanted to grab lunch while I was there. I came around 1 PM and there was a 30 minute wait for 2 for lunch, but have no fear. We just went upstairs to the martini bar and were able to wait and work. We were seated in the garden for lunch, which are mostly cute high tops. Before we even began our meal, a fat adorable white rabbit crossed our path. Then an equally beautiful black rabbit crossed our path. I had no idea there was wildlife just prancing around and I was giddier than a little kid. (There are also ducks and geese who run around!). Now to the food: Had to get the smash burger because it was award winning and boy it did not disappoint! The depth of flavor and the juiciness of the patties were impeccable. I opted for guda cheese instead of cheddar, and I added grilled onions, and this was an excellent choice. The fries are super crispy and the comeback sauce is perfect for dipping . Don't judge us, but we also shared some desserts. The standout was the white chocolate cheesecake, which was sweet but not super indulgent. I would definitely skip the crepe next time. The description made it sound delicious. But overall, it was lacking in a flavor. It was by far the most disappointing dish of the day. Even though it takes a while for food to come out service is impeccable, and the servers are just so lovely, so be patient. I will definitely make the Botanic my go-to establishment when I'm in town!

Dining is an experience and my hobby my husband says. We indulge most nights in many great restaurants all around us or when we frequently travel. I want to start by saying my friend chose this space well! Though it was about a 40 minute drive from their house it was worth it. The venue, grounds, market, dining areas, etc. are all truly a delight. I cannot believe a place like this exists in this area. We started with adult beverages and the amazing complimentary bread with an assortment of butter options. For appetizers, we ordered the pimento cheese and corn ribs (forgot to photograph). Both were delicious! For entrees, the ladies had the pasta dish with my friend adding the shrimp. I am a vegetarian so I did it without any protein. It was very good. The men had the filets with the sides and found them to be cooked properly. The pros were as follows: Beautiful venue/spaces Delicious food The market had some nice shopping gifts to pick up for souvenirs and pastries for breakfast the next morning The cons: We were supposed to be at an inside table and they said that was not the case once we arrived and it was way too hot outside and the flies were terrible. I felt as if they should have accommodated us as we still waited 30 minutes to be seated despite her making reservations weeks ago. That really put a damper on the experience. Their corkage fee to bring your own wine is $40 per bottle. I take my own wine to every restaurant I go to and have never paid $40 even at much higher end places. The waitress was nice but loud and forgetful. We asked for things multiple times and never did get some of the requested things. They do offer lunch and dinner and the menus are a bit different. They focus on fresh produce from local farmers and some they grow there. If you are within a 30 minute drive, I would suggest going as there is not much in that area that compares according to our friends. There are multiple dining spaces so make sure you choose where you want to dine and confirm that. There are multiple bar options as well.

1-Star Review: Utterly Disrespectful Experience - Especially Hurtful on a Special Occasion…read moreWe will never return to this place, and I feel compelled to warn others after what happened during what should have been a joyful celebration. It was a party of three: my wife, my 86-year-old father, and me. We were there specifically to celebrate my dad's birthday--an occasion that deserved warmth, attention, and basic courtesy. Instead, we received indifference followed by outright rudeness from the manager herself. We walked in and immediately asked if we could sit in the bar area. The woman we spoke to said yes, so we seated ourselves at one of the bar tables. At no point did she--or anyone else--mention that the bar tables were supposedly "closed." There was no sign, no verbal heads-up, nothing. We sat there completely ignored while identical bar tables around us had other customers who had been served food anf drinks as if it were business as usual. After sitting unnoticed for a noticeable stretch of time and realizing we were being deliberately overlooked, we simply got up and left. On our way out, I turned and asked to speak to the manager. The very same woman who had told us we could sit in the bar area stepped forward and identified herself as the manager--a short lady in her late 50s to early 60s. Rather than offering any explanation or apology for the clear miscommunication, she immediately became defensive and argumentative. She snapped that "the bar tables are closed" and spoke to me in a rude, dismissive tone, as though we had somehow tricked her or were at fault for trusting her own permission. When I calmly pointed out that she never told us the tables were closed when we specifically asked to sit there--and that other people were being served at the exact same kind of tables--she doubled down. She argued, raised her voice slightly, rolled her eyes, and acted like our legitimate confusion was an attack on her personally. Zero accountability. Zero attempt to make it right. No "I'm sorry for the mix-up," no offer to seat us elsewhere, nothing. We walked out without ordering a single thing, my elderly father in tow, on what was supposed to be his birthday celebration. The entire experience felt insulting--especially given his age and the reason we were there. To be ignored after being explicitly allowed to sit, then berated by the manager when we tried to understand why, left all three of us stunned and deeply disappointed. This wasn't just poor service; it was a shocking lack of basic professionalism and human decency from the person in charge. If a restaurant can't communicate simple rules, treat guests with respect, or handle a polite inquiry without turning combative--especially when an 86-year-old is involved--then it doesn't deserve customers. Zero stars if possible. Avoid this place entirely, particularly if you're celebrating anything meaningful or bringing older family members who deserve better. We certainly won't be back.
