we have loved eating at this location each time we are in opelika,ala. always great service and food------but---- this morning 8/10/26 @ 10a.m. we stopped in my wife had the scrambled egg and bacon breakfast-noticed she wasn't eating and i ask what was wrong -she advised --my eggs smell like fish--- sounds crazy but i took a small amount on my fork and smelled and she was right--eggs should not have any stong odor these --did-- smell--like a fish --or-- had a foul smell .we advised the waitress-upon paying--not sure we will return many great visits but one bad experience can change your thoughts about a bad food experience..kinda hard to ruin breakfast--but they did that today !!! read more

I got the "drops of Jupiter" and I will say for a place that only took about 8 minutes to cook it fairly good the pancakes were decent I'd recommend going with something a little more out of the pancake area for a better meal the syrup was probably the most nasty it had no flavor and tasted like water and glue but the only reason I'm reading 4 stars because there doughnuts were bomb. Me being from Utah and tasting a whole lot of native dishes that one took me back and I loved every bit of it. we were told our wait would be about 10 minutes. During that time other groups came in and were seated before us. It seems all you have to do is call and be put on a waiting list and you are taken in front of other people even you have waited your allotted time. There were 4 tables free and three local couples were taken in front of us with no explanation other than they CALLED and asked to be placed on a waiting list, no waiting like others standing there. If you are in their establishment waiting then you should be taken then and not told you have to wait while an Auburn coach and wife are seated just by walking in the door. read more

They was our second trip and we loved it. Food is well prepared and is served in very generous proportions. Both servers that we have had were amazing. Make sure you get on the wait list online before arriving. I've seen several walk up and leave because the line is so long. Plan ahead tho and it works out perfect. Well worth any wait. We're in Opelika, AL for a few days and for breakfast we tried @flying.biscuit.cafe in the Tiger Town shopping center. I got the Georgia Peaches and Cream Waffle. It's a light and fluffy waffle topped with a warm peach compote and whipped cream. The waffle was fantastic and had a wonderful cinnamon flavor that combined nicely with those warm peaches. Our family of four was seated almost immediately despite a busy, full restaurant around 9:30 am on a Sunday. I used the Yelp wait list and it worked well! Our waitress was friendly and got our orders in. Then we waited for about 30 minutes for our food. The wait is the only reason I deduct a star--I would have loved if they had served our half dozen biscuits first to reduce some of the delay. Otherwise, the food and service were outstanding. It is the quality of food that I am used to at the Atlanta locations. I love the biscuits with apple butter and grits. My daughter got the spicy chicken and waffles-next time she plans to ask for the hot sauce on the side as it did drench a portion of the waffle which was not to her liking. My son liked the eggs and bacon plate with grits and a biscuit.
