The thing is when you go through the drive thru you only get 2 salsas ( red and green). In retrospect I should have went inside where they have a selection of stuff to put on your taco. I haven't felt very well and appreciate that we have the option of drive- thru trips. The family loves Jimboy's tacos and decided on some for dinner tonight. They continue to have the quality that backs up their recipe, that's different from the rest. Service is good and the wait for cooking times is standard but quality is fantastic! There's a small parking lot that shares with a couple of restaurants. There's also handicap parking up front and plenty of parking on the side of the building . read more

I don't have one bad thing to say about Jimboys. They have THE BEST tacos- hands down, their shredded chicken tacos are like no other! I've been addicted to their delicious, perfectly cooked, just trying right amount of crunch, super stuffed, and super flavorful tacos since day one. Literally had me at hello. I live that all Jimboys locations are consistent and keep the standard exactly the same (I've tried the shredded chicken tacos at other locations and... SAME BOMB A$$ yummery!!) This location has a salsa bar with a bunch of different options for salsa, along with lemons, limes, sour creme, and jalapeno/carrot mix- so good!! You can refill your drink as many times as you want and the location is easy to get to. This Jimboys gets 5 ginormous boss stars, a high five and a Hell Yeah! read more

Great fast casual place to grab a bite to eat!! A step above the normal "fast food"!! While their ground beef tacos were very delicious, it was the nostalgia of it all that won me over!! It was feeling like an authentic home cooking kinda vibe that I remember from my childhood!! Just as that nostalgic thought entered my brain, I started eating my bean burrito...OMG!! That was spot on the closest thing I have ever eaten where it reminded me so vividly of my mom's home cooking!! The bean burritos won me over for good!! For me to say that your bean burritos are spot on my mom's cooking is the highest compliment I can give you!! We love Jimboy's Tacos nothing better! However they seem to be a little chintzy on their hot sauce packets. I ordered three boxes of their six taco Box, so that is 18 tacos, right? They gave us four little packets of green taco sauce and I asked if I wanted taco sauce. I guess I should tell them how many I want next time. Otherwise tacos are wonderful. Just need them to hand out a bit more green taco sauce or red, how about one package per taco. Next time I will remember to ask for more. read more

Stopped by Thursday afternoon and wanted to to try their tacos. They had a burrito special going, so I decided to go for it all. The steak burrito was decent, I loved the toasty tortilla. Although thin, the plated platter made it very good. They offered lemon on the side and this greatly helped with flavor. The shrimp tacos were good, however they're a little pricey. Del taco offers them as well and I honestly preferred those as well as the cheaper price point of 2 for $5. Service and cleanliness were good, it is decent food but the pricing overall is a little high. Definitely worth a try. The place overall feels like a step above traditional fast food. read more

Frist time going to jimboys in my life and I will say it was probably the best Mexican me and my family have had in a long time from a restaurant the only complaint we would have if you can call it one was the salas they put on the salad was a little hot for our tastes but that's not going to hold back a 5 star review. service was great fast and friendly. I went to get lunch yesterday and spent around $30.00. They were slow, but I was patient. When I did get my order it was all stuffed in one bag. I paid for it and I left. But, when I got home and pick up the bag it rips and all the food goes flying in our gutter. I tried to salvage the food but most of it was in the dirt. I called the manager and she wanted me to bring it to her! Lol, I was not going to dig in the garbage tots for proof! I know too many people are dishonest. Especially the last two years!! I can go elsewhere!! I know that times are challenging for many people. I try to eat and shop locally to help our economy. read more

My wife ordered a 6 pack of tacos, some churros, and few other items costing over $40 using door dash. When food was delivered it had a single beef taco. The receipt only showed for a single beef taco, but the receipt and amount charged to card was for the full order made to door dash. Upon calling and explaining this to Jimboy's staff, which don't seem very competent in regards to customer service, their response was we would need to pay for another 6 pack of tacos...repeatedly we tried to explain we already paid for this and just wanted what we paid for. After they continued to argue we gave up and just got a refund issued through DoorDash. We rarely eat at Jimboy's, but my wife was having a craving. After this experience we won't be back, there are plenty of taco places around here. read more

I was hoping for good things, at least a step up from Taco Bell, well I was wrong. The first two visits were really good. I loved the extra options allowed here vs other fast-food Mexican restaurants. Then today. The restaurant messed up my order, which I couldn't have known until I got home and started eating. I don't usually unwrap a burrito to make sure they actually put meat in it, they did not. The problem comes when I called to inform the staff of a problem. All they had to do was refund the difference in price between what I ordered and then received. They refused and the staff members we spoke with really could not have cared any less. Needless to say, we won't be returning. It's a shame that the attitude of the employees is going to keep people away. read more

This is ridiculous. My tacos were poorly put together with barely anything in them, my beans and rice were cold, and I think I just changed my mind about Jimboy's. I haven't had Jimboy's in years but it always hit the spot before. I'm on fertility meds and had a specific craving for Jimboy's only to be let down... I guess no more Jimboy's for me. read more

I've had marysville Jimboys so was happy to find one in Yuba however the food was awful. $45 and received the worst chili relleno, cold and tasted like a scrambled egg. The queso fries was more like a cup of nacho cheese with a side of fries, not authentic queso. The churros also not good! Taco Bell has a better option. Sorry, but when people spend these prices they expect for the food to be worth it. read more

After dining out at Chili's Yuba City and spending the entire evening on the toilet, Jimboys tacos was a godsend. Solid taco salad with the amount of meat that you paid for. It's mind-boggling when you can just run over to this restaurant and it is far superior product then to Applebee's or Chili's. Normally, about once per week, we enjoy meals from this location, but I don't know who the heck was on shift tonight! The carnitas didn't taste right and the grilled chicken in our tacos were downright disgusting; over cooked, rubbery and tasted as though it was waterlogged (did someone drop the meat and try to rinse it off?). Immediately after eating, mine and my husband's stomachs began to turn and I felt nauseated with sharp abdominal pains. Still suffering hours later. I waited over 15 minutes in a drive through line that did not move. Pulled over and parked and went inside. I stood there 10 minutes and nobody responded fed to the front. When I finally called to someone I was told "It's gonna be awhile". When I walked out the drive through line still hadn't moved. Needless to say I can't talk about the food because never got any! Tacos are awesome, I usually do the chicken tacos. On my last visit I got the diablo shrimp taco along with the chicken tacos (2) and it was really good. The staff is super nice, and the food comes out pretty quick. The small salsa bar is a plus because you can customize your tacos as you please. Would definitely recommend! read more

Definitely a great value! My husband and I were able to get two full meals for $20. However, I wish that they had a combo meal to make things more cost effective. The tacos tasted really good but I think the enchiladas were kind of bland. Did not try their sauces though so maybe next time I will try those as well. Definitely worth a 2nd try. read more

Jimboy's is amazing and cheap. We stopped by on our way to a concert and it was so good i stopped by again two weeks later on the way home from sac. I had a taco/burrito combo for around 7 bucks and it was so good. With all these bad reviews you guys should move to Chico because we would love you.
