I ordered the nachos today which comes with two sides ( I chose sprinkles and hot fudge) and waffle chips. I was so excited I could barely contain myself and it was just as I remember it. Randomly found this stand coming back from a trip to FarmVille. It's SO good! The frozen custard reminds me of my all time favorite place growing up. I've always enjoyed the custard here, but the management has a serious "scarcity mindset" problem. I spent $73 for my staff, and when my wife arrived shortly after we received our order to make a separate purchase, they refused to punch our loyalty card a second time. When I reached out, the owner told me the "one punch per day" rule exists to stop people from passing cards around in line to get a free item. To treat a customer who just spent $70+ like they are trying to "scam" the business out of a single punch is insulting. He mentioned that they've had the same rules for 17 years, and it shows--they'd rather "win" a $4 loyalty punch than keep a high-value customer. It was a custard adventure! My husband, daughter and I set out from Chesterfield to go to Jimers after seeing it paired with a zoo outing! We went to the zoo a few weeks ago, but missed the opportunity to go to Jimers. I got a kiddie twist in a cup with sprinkles. It was so perfect on a hot night. The pricing was good too! The staff was very nice. They asked us to wait a minute before ordering so they could catch up. Very polite. They have a big picnic area shaded by large evergreens. There were bees so if you're allergic be careful. It is not the most convenient, but you can't miss the huge parking lot. read more

By far the best soft serve spot in all of RIC I firwent to Jimers 10 years ago when he opened,its amazing to see how much he has grown and the following he has is second to none. My family and I used to love Jimmer's and I am sad to say that one employee in particular has ruined that for us; as long as this particular young man works there, we will not be returning to Jimmer's. In fact, after talking to several friends of ours, they have had the same experience with this same employee and no longer frequent Jimmer's. Our friends were appalled at the behavior of this particular employee and just could not believe that he speaks so rudely and disrespectful. I could see if possibly the customer was rude first, but this employee has never spoken kindly in our presence. When you're going to stop at Jimers, just remember if they get a huge line in the evenings (which happens a lot especially on weekends), they will close the gates earlier than their closing time so they can get everyone served. Jimer's is absolutely amazing! I always get the twist cone, and it has never failed me! Great prices, nice customer service, sweet atmosphere, and the best custard you will ever have makes it a must go to! Be warned that in the summer they do have a tendency to close the gates early due to a long line and/or running out of custard. This has never happened to me, but to some of my friends. I would recommend getting there no later than 30 minutes to closing. Also they just got a brand new trailer with two machines instead of one so they are able to serve more people, which might mean shorter lines this year! read more

Jimer's May have good custard but their service is ugly and mean. We drove 20 minutes to get there but an elderly man pointed a finger at my husband and told us to get out. We arrived at 7:30 and they close at 8:00 PM. There were about ten people on line. This was our first time going there and we did not know they have a history of closing early. We will not be back. I am knocking off a star because I tried the "oreo" merry mixer too, which was unfortunately not made with oreos, but generic creme filled chocolate cookie sandwiches. If you've ever had one you know they don't ever taste quite right. If they switched to oreos or made it clear on the menu that it was not made with oreos, I would give it five stars.
