One of my first frustrations involved compensation. I was told by Lindsay the manager that after three months, I would receive an evaluation and potential pay raise that evaluation never happened as promised. It ultimately took around 10 months before I received a 10% pay increase. The rate itself wasn't the issue. The issue was the fact that what he said and initially was never followed up on in my experience George and Claire were two of the most competent and hard-working people there, and I have respect for the teachers and repair staff only. My biggest problems were the environment surrounding the sales staff. There was an excessive amount of sitting around , inappropriate conversations and sexual jokes throughout the day. At first, I assumed it was an occasional joking between coworkers, but it became a regular part of the work environment. And me being so young, I expressed I did not like those conversations, but they continued. My interactions with one of the employees Mike was particularly frustrating. On one occasion, he repeatedly called me a Twink because I did not have facial hair. He also regularly made comments telling me that I should suck a penis or two to find myself. These weren't isolated comments here. For my perspective, this type of behavior occurred regularly despite me making it clear that I didn't appreciate it. When I objected the jokes, I was then accused of being homophobic. Regardless of anyone since of humor, I don't believe an employee should have to repeatedly deal with sexual comments directed at them after asking for it to stop. There was also situations involving customers one regular customer repeatedly made comments to me about whether I was successful with women and once asked me explicitly sexual questions. He would ignore me in social settings and still expect me to do everything. He asked for him during one interaction. I responded to something he said, and he told me that I needed to shut my mouth and not speak again. I found that extremely disrespectful. That same day Mike told me in front of another customer that I would never make it anywhere, including Nashville for me. That was the final straw. Also, if you don't already know, he used to be homeless and he is proud of this. he was a squatter at multiple homes in Chicago. Whatever disagreement, coworkers may have with each other. I don't believe it is appropriate for an older coworker to repeatedly make sexual comments towards the younger employee and tell him that he will never succeed. I paid my account off and left that day the only people I respect here are George and Claire. Everyone else complains about working and is not worth building a relationship with.

Surely they mean that there are some other kids perhaps in the same situation and they have some activities planned for them or something along those lines. I quickly figured out that was not the case as I watched the instructors skip out to lunch. Since no else said anything else to me I decided to sit and wait with my daughter until they returned and made time for her....A few days later I checked my bank account only to find that school of rock had charged me double. #$%^&*(. And when I called and spoke with the owners Mike and Renee, they cheerfully responded with sarcasm and reassured me again that "WE DONT GIVE A SHIT!!!!!" AND just to make sure that I got the message Mike sent me a cheerful email..with all exclaimation points..that he PERSONALLY DOESN"T GIVE 2 SHITS!!! . My next issue with these assclowns. After talking to my daughter I realized she was not receiving the private lessons I was paying for....so I emailed the owners. Who again treated me with zero respect. Ok, i get it. They featured a Mario Martin electric that he just HAD to have! Ever since, I've been dying to get him to the store in person. It seemed that every time we were passing near Roswell, it was the wrong day or time. Yesterday we finally made it! The store has a private, intimate feeling since the front doors are locked. The interior is breathtakingly beautiful and slightly visually overwhelming. I adore the artistic design and look of guitars and basses. This was a feast for the eyes and ears. Top notch service which was attentive and personalized. I lounged in the comfortable gliding chairs while my spouse spent a few hours trying various instruments. He fell in love with a Fender p bass but ultimately opted to wait. I have a feeling he'll be on the phone in a day or two placing an order. We will definitely be returning to Righteous Guitars and keeping an eye on their inventory. If you're a musician or guitar player, this place is a must-visit!

There is no voice mail. Service phone often rings for 20 rings (gave up after then) and never is answered. The people in the store know about these problems, but the corporate office does nothing to fix it. The corporate call center went so far as to tell me they couldn't control the hours on Google. What? Again, less than stellar workers. Also, personnel is not properly trained. ie: I was told I could get a flute repair done in a week, then I found out it was a month...after I flew to the USA with my flute from another country. So, I bought a new flute. I asked the service department to check it over completely as I did not live in the USA and wanted to make sure there were no issues. Note this was a rather expensive silver flute. They gave it to me saying it was perfect. Well, it wasn't! The interior was filthy...used. The f# key leaks. I am flying back to the USA. It took me 12 phone calls including 2 useless calls to the call center before I could speak to someone. I was promised a call back from the call center in 40 minutes. Never called. Bottom line is, good selection, knowledgeable sales people, lousy service and not the brightest in the call center. I think some of the staff is good at some of the stores, but really, they need training.

I was really nervous, but TMS made it fun and easy to find the best time for me each week and matched me with a teacher that I felt safe, comfortable and loved by! More than anything, my teacher has helped me gain confidence and stay inspired to keep practicing every week. We pick music that resonates with me and I stay excited about all of our material because we have chosen it together! Taking music lessons has been such a beautiful form of therapy and I am so grateful to have this place to grow and blossom with. I set a goal when I first started taking lessons six months ago to perform at least once in front of a crowd. I am terrified of public speaking, and taking voice lessons has helped me actively work to conquer this fear. I am proud to say, I was recently able to perform in front of a group and it was the best feeling to celebrate all of my hard work and dedication with my teacher! I also have been able to expand my range by multiple notes with techniques and guidance. I highly recommend this studio for adults interested in finding a new passion or revisiting an old love of music.
