However, I did not receive an invoice until I followed up a few days later. The document he eventually sent was a basic Square receipt that did not include key required details such as: - Property address where the service was performed - Company name and contact information - Description of the service provided As a result, the HOA declined the submission and did not grant the cleaning credit. When I reached out to Joey to explain that this was an HOA requirement--not a personal preference--he became frustrated and stated that this is the only receipt he provides and that he has never had issues before. He also mentioned he would not invest in tools to generate a more detailed invoice. To clarify, I was not asking for anything complex--just a standard invoice with basic business and service details. It has now been over a month, and I still do not have a compliant invoice. Meanwhile, the HOA has issued penalties for failure to provide proof of service. I am now out $175 and will need to hire another company to redo the service and obtain proper documentation. I'm sharing this so other Communication Hills homeowners are aware: if your HOA requires a detailed invoice, please ensure your service provider can supply one before proceeding with the work.
