Every time I order delivery from this location, they forget my pickle or my side. Then I call to let them know that part of my order was missing, and they just tell me that they'll write it down in their books and I can pick it up at a later time. I currently have probably three to four pickles and/or sides in their books, waiting for me to pick up. If I wanted to pick it up, I probably wouldn't order delivery. Really, they're just stealing my money. I think they should concentrate on being freaky accurate instead of freaky fast. read more

If you like warm mayo-this is the JJ for you. This is the 2nd time out of 2 orders I've been disappointed. Why should it take 40 minutes the first time and 25 minutes this time to deliver?and the order wasn't correct-missed steps. Closed everything up by 845, when they're supposed to close at 9(still early af). all my wife wanted was a sub to go and the girl working said she had everything closed already. 10-15 earlier than CLOSING TIME. Everything around here closes early as it is, no need to close up shop prior to actual hours of operation. Will never receive business from me again. read more

I placed my order on December 30th for delivery on the 31st between 6:15 and 6:30. 8 subs for a family get together on December 31st. Website states they would like a 24 hour notice for bigger orders. On the 31st I called at 6:15 just to make sure everything was set. The manager told me it was just picked up by Uber and we should be receiving it shortly. 6:45 I called them back. She told me again that it was out for delivery. That they have no way of contacting the Uber driver. Told me that they were having problems getting their drivers. (Not really my problem) I then called back at 7:15. She still couldn't tell me any more. I cancelled the order. She said no problem. Ok, maybe I'm not understanding, they can cancel an order that was out for delivery but can't contact the Uber driver. So, my 8 subs were now the Uber drivers? Or were they actually made in the first place. Ok, so now its New Years Eve at 7:15. How am I supposed to feed my family members? Places were either swamped or closed. So nice of Jimmy Johns to have us scrambling to find food instead of enjoying family time. Jimmy Johns shouldn't say delivery if they actually don't have delivery. OR make sure you have the ability to contact the Uber drivers. I will go someplace else from now on. It's jimmy johns. You get a good sandwich at a reasonable price. The bad thing at this location is twice here I have seen the manager or shift leader or whatever just like verbally abusing employees. "Why are you taking your gloves off to do her job?" "This is why I have to put you on the cash register because you can't hack it on the line." STAY AWAY I can't stress that enough. If you order for delivery expect your food to always smell I mean reek of smoke because almost all the drivers smoke. I also received a cookie that was obviously intentionally taped shut covering a hole in the corner the manager tried to say it was because they tried to take the sticker off but should they really send out sealed food with a hole regardless of how it got there HELL NO so pissed. MANAGEMENT Is TERRIBLE the girl that I talked to I was obviously wasting her time she obviously didn't care and said "sorry your having a bad day" when in fact I am not having a bad day actually I am pissed off with your continuing bad service that alone will NOT ruin my day. IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE GO TO THE DOWNTOWN APPLETON ONE THEY ARE AMAZING!!! And delivery won't smell of smoke EVER!!! Sandwich, yummy. Service, eh, not great. Once it was my turn to order my sub, I stepped up in line and said "Hey, how are ya?" I was met with a blank stare and no response. I ordered a #12 - wasn't asked what kind of bread I wanted so I got it on the standard french roll - I would have preferred the whole grain, but no harm done, I guess, I'm new to the place. I also ordered a large drink with no cup b/c I wanted to fill my Nalgene bottle with iced tea - (today is Earth Day mind you) - I was met with another blank stare. When I asked him if something was wrong, he said, "I just never saw it done like that, that's all." At Jimmy Johns you get less everything. Less inches on your sub, less quality or options when it comes to bread, less meat, less topping and an almost non-existent selection of cheese. You will however pay the same price as every other sub place in town. Sometimes you will pay more. It really comes down to getting the best bang for your buck. Save on having to tip a delivery driver or eating a very disappointing sub, and go to a sub place where you really get your money's worth. Although they do not deliver, I recommend Subway, Quiznos, or Cousins. read more

I have a gluten allergy and they put my order on bread. i asked if they could fix it by doing an unwich with lettuce and they just took the sandwich stuff and put it back on lettuce. i was concerned because that's cross contamination. i went back in and asked her to get it right by remaking it. the worker with blue hair asked me if i wanted to make it myself. i was very taken aback because this is a health concern. bad service. cancelled. read more

I ordered a veggie sandwich, which turned out to be ok. Price was good and it was tasty, although a little mayonnaisey. Here's my beef. I ordered a number 1, add avocado spread, for my friend. I got the four sandwiches I ordered and drove away. Then I realized for my friend's sandwich, it was the only one they didn't write the order number on the outside. I looked at the sandwich and couldn't find the avocado spread. So I took it back. The manager showed me where it was, buried under the slice of cheese. It was a tiny amount of avocado, as thin as a layer of butter you would spread on toast. Bottom line - don't waste your money on the avocado spread. He had no remorse. There is no way you will be able to taste it. I would have given them 3 stars, but knocked the score down one star for this experience. read more

I ordered a #6 Veg at the Calumet Street store after avoiding JJs for two years because of ordering problems. After two years nothing has changed. I asked for extra avocado on the sandwich. To emphasize the request I said, "Swimming in avocado." Bringing the sandwich home I found the usual meager amount. Taking the sandwich back and speaking with the same employee, I repeated, 'Remember I asked you for extra avocado." Well a manager had to be called to personally administer extra avocado. I commented that I could not believe a manager had to put on extra avocado. The employee remarked "extra anything isn't allowed." In the past (two years ago) I was charged for "extra" and still couldn't get what I paid for. Time to continue my boycott of this place: something's just never change. read more
