I've been here a couple times, and they don't seem to put much care or effort into their sandwiches. The last one I got was slathered with mayonnaise, and the bread seemed really dry (day old maybe?). I couldn't even finish it. I've been to other Jimmy John's before, and I've never experienced this. Maybe it's cuz I usually go there first thing in the morning? Not sure. I've given them a couple of tries, but from now on I'm skipping this one. There's other better options nearby. read more

Service: Surprisingly, when I went to this particular Jimmy John's, it wasn't crowded. Still, I'd ordered online and that was a huge help, as Jimmy John's is usually pretty crowded. There were two employees there when I went and they were super kind. There was Christmas music playing in store (before Thanksgiving even lol) and one of the employees sang along a bit. Food: I always get the Pepe, I think it's called. I ordered it without mayo and without tomatoes and it came out perfectly, just as I'd ordered it. Environment: Now, here's the fun part. This small restaurant had hilarious and life advice signs all over the walls and it was pretty amusing to read them all. Overall, the place was clean and had good lighting. Final thoughts: I just love sandwiches a lot so I'll always continue to go here! I love the way the sandwiches are built and just are. read more

Food was good but the customer service was absolutely awful, the font lady working was mean for no reason and had a terrible attitude, I do understand the fast food service but being mean doesn't get anywhere, no help nothing. As a long time Jimmy Johns employee (different store) I can say this is the worst I've ever seen. The conditions in the back, from the view point of two old employees, was that of a new york hot dog stand. Staff not using gloves. And when they are, they are pulling up their pants, scratching there heads and putting those gloves into oven mits then back to preparing your food. Cross contamination of GROUND - Table. Ordered for delivery. Super tasty Italian club sandwich, pesto pasta small salad was yummy (it's small so perfect for 1person). Followed all my additions/subtractions to a tee. Fast delivery, followed directions perfectly. All in all a great experience taste n delivery. Prices are on par with all sandwich shops these days. read more

I was at the drive thru, but everyone was very friendly and helpful. I got the roast beef sandwich and added several items. It was prepared exactly as ordered, and was very good. Their bread was super fresh, the roast beef was plentiful and the tomatoes were great! Although I didn't get one this time, their brownies are amazing! It seemed to be a fair price for the combo meal. I did notice that their parking lot is very steep and it could be hazardous if the weather is bad. I will definitely go back! read more

The food was fine - standard Jimmy John's quality. The service - not so much. We ordered in the drive-thru, one regular sized turkey sandwich, and requested two waters. The gal working drive through said, 'like bottled water?' And I confirmed 'no, just water from the tap or fountain.' She said 'okay, I can do that for you.' I get to the window and my total is $18. I thought I heard her wrong - so I said, 'just the one sandwich, right? It's $18?' And she said 'yes,' while giggling awkwardly. So I asked, 'am I getting charged for water?' And she says, 'you're charged for the cup.' Shouldn't this be explained when I declined bottled water and requested tap water? If that's store policy - whatever... but be transparent upfront. I anticipated paying $10 for a sandwich -- and if I'd known I'd get up charged an additional $8 for WATER, I would have chosen to decline it and go buy water at a gas station for half of that. I chose this place due to its proximity to the outlet I was headed to. I wasn't impressed with the sandwich I ordered. It was more personal preference than the quality of the ingredients. I ordered using the drive thru. This one was actually useful. I could understand the clerk talking to me and my order was delivered quickly and accurately. They had a good variety of sandwiches to choose from. The veggies, tomatoes and lettuce, were fresh but I don't like hot house tomatoes since for me they don't have much flavor. The lettuce was crisp. The multigrain bread was fresh and had good texture. A word of warning about the drive thru lane, it's narrow for a large SUV so be careful out you'll rub your tires. read more

Jimmy Johns ibn Centralia is the opposite of Freaky Fast. They also do not keep consistent hours. They advertise as being open from 10:00 to 8:00. We have, several times, gone there to pick up dinner and found them to be closed - with cars in line waiting until they figure out that no one is there. We just picked up an order (called ahead to be sure they were actually open); and drove all the way home to find that we didn't have the right order. When we called to say we had the wrong order, they said they knew and we could come back for the right sandwich - seems like they would have called the phone number attached to the "rewards" and let us know before we got all the way home. The owner has to be absent with a very poor manager; or maybe the owner just doesn't care. We have had much better experiences at other stores - so those stores will get our business. The absolute worst Jimmy Johns I have ever been to. We went brought the drive as a quick food stop on our drive, and ordered 2 regular sandwiches (beach club & veggie) and an unwich (lettuce wrapped club lulu). The guy who took our order was forcefully cheerful, almost sarcastic when he was talking to us. Did not ask us if we wanted any extras and kept trying to cut us off. When we clarified the extras (+ bacon & + Dijon mustard) we wanted on the unwich, he told us he knew what we wanted. We roll up to the window and the woman takes our card and we pay. She then asks what bread we wanted for the club lulu. We say no that was the unwich. she yells that back to the maker and apologizes. It takes another 5 min for our bag of sandwiches to be ready and she apologizes for that as well even as we can see her standing next to the maker and chatting & laughing with him. All this could be acceptable, but when we open up our sandwiches once we're back on the freeway, we realize everything is wrong. They put the bacon and Dijon on the veggie when it was meant for the unwich. The unwich is falling apart and has a small sliver of bacon, and the bread on the beach club is wheat not the French. Not only was the bacon on the wrong one, but they charged us for two extra bacons ($1.75 each) and it still wasn't much at all. The vegetarian who ordered the veggie sandwich had to pick the bacon off and hates Dijon so had to scrape that off as well. We were already on the freeway so we didn't turn around but we will NEVER be going to that JJ's again. read more

Well I decided to give Jimmy Johns a second chance. The first one I ordered was from the Lacey branch and I wanted Turkey, avocado and lettuce. I asked for extra avocado and so he charged me $2. because to add avocado is normally $1. I figured I'd get extra. I couldn't even find the avocado on the sandwich. I called to complain and the kid on the phone said " I personally put it on your sandwich", I said I paid extra to get extra. He responded with that was a xtra! As rude as can be! Tonight I thought okay I will check out the one in Centralia! I can say this time I can see and taste the avocado. My complaint in this case was the service! I went inside to order and when they finished making my sandwich. They tossed it on the counter and said there you go! I asked about my pickle and she wrapped that up and practically threw it at me. None of the employees had a smile on their face, the looked and acted as if you were bothering them. To top it off, it was not clean, the girl behind the counter was trying to clean up some of the mess using the bread she pulled out of my sandwich as if it was a sponge! Really! I've gone to Jimmy Johns multiple times and have always enjoyed my bootlegger unwich, until coming to this Jimmy Johns location. Nothing beats getting a yummy, juicy, unwich that's made to perfection every time. Well, today I experienced thee worst unwich ever. First of all, I ordered through the drive-thru and within the few seconds of pulling up to the window, my unwich was already in a bag and handed to me - which was insanely quick. I get home, unwrap it, and it's not even wrapped properly with the lettuce. I have never been able to see all the sandwich ingredients; cheese, meats, tomatoes, etc. inside the unwich because at other locations, it's all wrapped up in at least two giant pieces of lettuce. Not a bunch of small, broken pieces like how this is... sure, it tastes the same, but it's really unappetizing looking knowing how sloppily it was made. Obviously the employees at the Centralia location don't care and just slap sandwiches together, which isn't what customers are looking for. After this experience, I'll never go back. I'm not going to set myself up for disappointment again. read more

Ordered over an hour in advance, didn't get food until 30 minutes after stated delivery time. Got a 16" and asked for it to be cut in half, because who tf eats a 16" sandwich at full length? Lol God forbid you spend 10 seconds reading the order and cutting the sandwich. The sandwich itself is no better than the service. Absolutely tasteless. All I could taste was the peppers I had added as an extra. Bread is tasteless. Cheese is tasteless. Also what kind of sandwich shop had 1 type of cheese? The meat was falling out of the sandwich with each bite, the tomatoes didn't seem fresh and got everything wet and soggy and left a puddle on my plate. Quiznos is 200 feet from this place. If you really want a decent sandwich and not spend $20 on one, then go there. This place is a joke. Even subway would be a better option. read more

I was driving up to Renton from Oregon and Centralia was a halfway mark for me so I stopped for lunch. I wanted Jimmy Johns since they're always quick and taste great. Well this was the worst Jimmy Johns sandwich I have EVER had. The bread was smashed and chewy, there was maybe 2 slices of turkey in my sandwich. When I was ordering I was asked if I wanted cheese or avocado. I know avocado costs extra but was confused about the cheese since I have never been asked to add cheese to a sandwich. Never heard of a sandwich that doesn't come with cheese. I felt mocked when I asked where the napkins were and it was overall the worst Jimmy Johns experience I have ever had. $45 for a giant club sandwich, two regular unwich sandwiches, medium drink and large drink. One of the unwich were supposed to be with bread. They asked if we wanted bacon or avocado for any sandwiches so we added it to the giant not realizing it's $4 for bacon and $2 for avocado. We were shocked by the overall cost. read more

Was not impressed with this place at all. One person behind the counter when we first walked in, he just continued to make the sandwich didn't say someone will be with you in a minute. Another worker showed up, ignored us & a third worker came out of the bathroom went around behind the counter was walking towards the back, the sandwich maker said take care of the register. Finally, we ordered a regular turkey and paid for cheese & ordered a double roast beef. We stopped through on a road trip up i-5 hoping for something other than a burger. They took our order which ended up being $37 for two sandwiches, one drink, two bags of chips and a cookie.. Okay a little spendy but whatever. We sat at the drive through window a few minutes and two different employees opened the window and said it would be a wait. Eventually they asked us to pull forward to wait as they were cooking bread.. (hmmm.. this is not freaky fast at all) We sat for about 5 minutes then I went in to use the restroom and there was one customer inside. Finally the order was ready after about 15 minute wait. The staff handed me my order and sent me on my way. As someone who's worked in food service, this was unacceptable service. They should have let us know they were sorry for a inconvenience and offered something cheap for the hold up. They didn't seem to care and just handed me my bag which I felt the need to inspect for spit. read more
