I love Jimmy John's. This location had the new Frenchie's on display. They look delicious and I hope to try one next time they said they are testing the market and not all locations have them. My tuna sub was huge! Largest sandwich I have gotten from a Jimmy John's ever. I had the #15 tuna with sprouts and avocado. It did not disappoint. This location was in a shopping center about .7 miles off 94. It was very clean and the workers we're very nice and knowledgeable. read more

When this place opened it was very clean not so much anymore. It keeps getting worse and worse, just called for a delivery on a Friday night at 6:30 and they don't have a delivery driver. One time I went here for lunch and one of the workers said "it's gonna be 30 minutes before we can make another sandwich you might want to go somewhere else." This is the WORST Jimmy John's in the state. Not only do they not get your order right, the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. The manager, a soft spoken bearded young man, makes it seem like you are annoying him if you ask questions. Read the rest of the reviews - "Staff unpleasant and unfriendly" Those are UNDERSTATEMENTS. I would say they are more Rude and Offensive. The owner of this JJ's needs to answer the clue phone, because it's ringing off the hook. Really like Jimmy John's but I've been to this one multiple times and the service is not good. Tonight I called at 5:30 and someone answered the phone and before I could even speak said "we're closed have a good night" and hung up. Totally understand if you are closed but be polite. First time trying Jimmy John's and it will be a LONG time before we ever try it again. The staff was unpleasant and not friendly at all. They basically treated my order as a major inconvenience. Then they charged me for extra cheese, at my request, but did not put it on. Asked for no lettuce or tomatoes and it was on the sub. The work area that was visible from the ordering area was very messy. When it was brought to their attention they forgot the cheese, there was no real apology. They did make a new one and let us keep the one they made a mistake on but still. Poor attitudes and lack of work ethic is a major turnoff. Next time we'll go to Subway! read more

Teenage boys love JJs, which is understandable with the soft fresh baked bread and tons of tasty meat. Thankfully, the bread is good enough to hide a slew of crisp veggies in their sandwiches, without too much protest. So we were super stoked when this JJ's came to town. Feed four teen boys, something they all like, healthier than fast food, and cheaper than eating out - SCORE!!. Works great as a bribe too. Promise JJs for lunch if everyone can get out to do some yard work. It's HARD to find something that appeals to all of them. I don't know what makes JJ's so much better than the rest but they are, hands down. #16 Club Lulu is the original JJ club (w/o cheese) and the Beach Club are the two I bounce between. Something for everyone here, even with the JJ's unwich - which is any sandwich wrapped in lettuce instead of bread. Every time me and my husband try and come to this Jimmy Johns it's CLOSED! It's literally 7 pm and on the website it says it closes at 10 pm. This happened the other day as well. I recently had to find a place that I could get sandwiches for an anniversary gathering . I had heard good things about jj so I ordered 5 boxes of 1/2 sandwiches. My guests all we're eating g and I opened a sandwich and was appalled. I couldn't see any turkey one tiny slice , I was embarrassed that I served these to my friends and family. It was all bread and nothing else. For over $200.00 I could have gotten something else much more substantial . Instead of where's the beef it was where's the turkey. I will never get these again. The bread and other ingredients were good but the service continues to leave a lot to be desired. Ordered a 12 on wheat extra tomato. The guy at the mayo station just scooped up a random amount of mayo with the spatula and put it on the bread. (Just like he did with every other sandwich before and after my order, can't remember the last time i saw a location use a mayo scoop to measure out the mayo, when i worked for corporate not using the mayo scoop was an offense you'd get written up for, apparently no one cares these days). He then put a random amount of tomatoes on the bread, half of which were about to fall off the bread, put cucumbers and lettuce on top. When they were getting ready to put the turkey and cheese on top of it all i asked them to put the turkey and cheese on top of the cucumbers and the lettuce on top of the cheese, the way the sandwich is supposed to be build, after asking for the 3rd time so they could hear me the guy finally grabbed the lettuce off the sandwich, put the turkey and cheese in the middle and then lettuce on top, all while rolling his eyes at me. We love Jimmy John's, so we stopped there on a long road trip for dinner. I've never experienced anything like this. One employee was sleeping in a booth with his feet in the aisle. There was food and paper all over the floor of the kitchen like a tornado had hit. My husband ordered a number 11 with hot peepers and onion. It is supposed to have ham and turkey, but it only had cheese, lettuce, and peppers, no meat. It took him a long time to make our order while the two other employees did nothing. My husband used to work at a Jimmy John's. He said if corporate walked in, they would all be fired on the spot. read more

Usually, this Jimmy John's location has been pretty good. Today, I ordered a single sandwich and cookie for delivery. Over an hour later after having given up thinking I'd be getting food, I get the notification that it's out for delivery. My first thought is 'oh, they may be busy and understaffed. Annoying, but not much to do about it.' 45 minutes pass waiting for my food to be driven 5 minutes down the road before calling the store. Whoever answered said the order was out for delivery and would be there any minute and that they're extremely busy. Sure, I get I ordered around and lunchtime and it's probably busy. I didn't get my order until almost 2 and a half hours from when I placed the order. And they forgot the cookie. The sandwich was also freshly made, so it wasn't out for delivery? The only upside was the girl delivering the food seemed really nice and polite. 0/5 for the wait and unhelpful phone call, but 5/5 for the delivery girl who looked like she not only had nothing to do with the wait, but was really nice. read more

1st time to JJ and caught them getting ready to put order on white bread. I said no one asked me what kind of bread I wanted and was told they automatically use white unless I requested something else. I'd said I was new to JJ and didn't know and she said it was not too late to change. I asked for dressing on side. Got home 1/2 hour away and found mayo dressing slathered on and not the oil and vinegar she was going to put in a container. Called manager when I got home and he could have cared less after I told him the bread was already soggy with the wrong dressing, and it was meant to be eaten tomorrow. No apology other than saying he would tell his employees to be more careful. I told him the sandwich would be given to my cats and I would let friends in Chelsea know about the service there and the way I was treated. The least he should have done was to offer me a refund or to replace the sandwich the next time I was in town. What a waste of over $7.00+. I do not recommend them at all. Go to Subway ! read more

Not only that but the sandwhiches didnt even seem put together well, but this may just have been because they were jostled in delivery or something. Ordered jimmy johns online When the items were first delivered and I pointed out I was missing a straw the delivery driver said she was too busy to bring me a straw she used the excuse that she was the only driver and had three orders to deliver. I called because my five-year-old son's sandwich was not made correctly and I pointed out that I did not get mustard packets or a straw or napkins. I was told napkins are only included if I specifically ask for them. There is no place to click for a request of napkins when you order online and I don't think it would matter much because everything else I clicked was messed up anyway. The person I first spoke to on the phone was very rude and she told me they were very busy. The next person I spoke to was the manager he said his name was Jared and I asked him for his district managers name and phone number but he told me that the district manager was on vacation and refused to give me any of the information. About an hour later I got a replacement sandwich for my son a straw and napkins and mustard packets. I am very disappointed in my entire experience with this Jimmy John's I order from the Ann Arbor Jimmy John's all the time when I'm at work and they are very fast very efficient and pleasant it's too bad that the Chelsea location does not offer the same experience. They really need to work on their interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and telephone etiquette. I also think maybe having an adult present would be a big step in the right direction the whole place seems to be run by a bunch of kids that have no business dealing with the public. read more
