    Peanut Butter Burger
    Nicole G.

The staff was very helpful and attentive. We were seated promptly and our drink order was taken. We opted for water but they had a full bar and served pop as well. Expect to spend $11-16 on a burger or sandwich. It comes with chips but you can upgrade to fries or sweet potato fries as well. We started with the loaded tots. A shareable portion was brought to our table in a decent amount of time. The garlic aoli was quite tasty. All of our burger were cooked to order and tasty. Peanut butter on a burger doesn't sound like it would work but it did. The saltiness of the other items somehow complimented the peanut butter. It was quite messy to eat and required a bunch of napkins but thankfully the napkin dispenser is right on the table. The garlic Bleu Cheese burger was good. Just the right amount of sauteed onions and blue cheese were served atop the burger patty. The Chelsea Burger is sauteed peppers, mushrooms and onions with cheese and it was very good. The amount of toppings is generous but does make for a messy burger so have those napkins nearby. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We will return as the restaurant was clean and food was good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Street parking is available. There are two unisex restrooms and one with a changing table.

Came for lunch after some Black Friday shopping and the meal was awesome! Elevated pub food here with daily specials. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The pub is awaiting their liquor license so I can imagine the place will be hopping after that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with the potato soup (daily special) 5/5 and chili 4/5. We both had their famous smash burgers - great caramelization on the burgers. Our server Jen was so nice and professional. They seemed to be doing a brisk take out business today. We are already planning our next visit!

Great environment kept some of the old sietz charm

They also let me riff it up and merge the california roll bowl with spicy tuna. I appreciate that even in a food truck, they kept the temperature of the sushi really cold - great for a toasty day. It was also a good portion but it was free to guests so can't comment on the value. This experience totally makes me want to check out GC in person sometime. I've never been to Chelsea and GC is a perfect 'excuse'!

I needed breakfast since these procedures tend to start so early in the morning. The choices were slim and it was either a McDonald's or a coney. A Coney will win every time so here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right off the main drag in Chelsea is this gem. It's right next to a McDonald's, but this place was pretty busy and I was very happy to see that. There is a private parking lot where you can put your fly ride and even spaces around the back. There's also outdoor seating for the couple of months where there's nice weather here in Michigan. Inside is your typical diner and exactly what I expected. Service: The server never gave me her name, but it's all good. She was patient with me, gave me good recommendations and made sure I had everything that I needed. When you're done eating you do have to get up and go pay on your own at the front. Food: For breakfast I went with the Greek Scrambler. It consists of gyro meat, feta cheese, mushrooms and scrambled eggs. I added green onions for a bit more crunch. On the side I upgraded my toast to the Cinnamon Swirl Toasts. Everything was pretty good, but I did find myself adding a bit of salt and pepper to the scramble. However the Cinnamon Swirl Toast was excellent. Perfect as is. Value: This diner felt pricy, but maybe it was just me. My tall glass of orange juice was $3.79. That's basically the price of a whole container... but no matter. The Greek Scrambler started off at $12.99, but to add a topping of ANY KIND, it's $1.49 so that was for the green peppers. To upgrade to the Cinnamon Swirl Toast was another $1.99. So when it's all said and done, I came out $21.47. Seems steep for a diner breakfast, but aye, this place was packed so people must swear by it! I... guess I could too. I did like my food and a few of my friends actually said they like it there too and that they've never had a bad meal there. That says a lot! Check this place out if you're in the area.
