Whenever I need a quick lunch or dinner on-the-go, I pop by here and go through the drive thru to get my all-time favorite sandwich. I always get the #5 Vito but no cap, and add cucumber. Sooo yummy! There's something about the oil/vinegar dressing they use on their lettuce/onions - it's irresistible! I'm also a huge fan of their kettle cooked potato chips. I go back and forth between the BBQ and Salt & Vinegar flavors. Sometimes I even add the salt and vinegar chips to my sandwich for a little crunch - highly recommend trying it out on your next JJ's sandwich! Terrible location. I have ordered here several times over the last few months and have overlooked the consistent mistakes because I love their sandwiches, but today I'm done. Went thru the drive thru today and ordered a combo meal (btw) only saves you .10... Ordered oil and vinegar with extra vinegar and got an oil covered sandwich with zero signs or taste of any vinegar. Called to complain and ask if I could come back for a new one and he said didn't know how they could fix it but sure and he'll throw in a cookie. Don't know how to fix adding vinegar? Seriously? I'm really surprised so many people gave bad reviews. I guess different strokes, for different folks. We had great food, great service. They have a fun dining experience, I love all the funny signs on their walls, so much that I was tempted to start taking photos to put up on Instagram. Their subs are pretty inexpensive, comparable to Subway, but the whole restaurant doesn't smell like plastic bread like at Subway. Overall a great experience, will be going back again!! read more

Jimmy John's is my favorite sandwich shop. The folks at this location, however, take the cake when it comes to lazy! Called in at 12:30pm on a Saturday and asked for a sandwich platter. They told me it required a 24 hour notice. So I asked if I could place an order for five sandwiches and they said yes. I told them I wanted three turkey and two Italian and for them to cut them in three and was told no. Really?! Really?! I WENT here five to six times per month. Screw this location. Lenny's is right around the corner from them AND they cut the sandwiches as requested! read more

I went there because they have lettuce wraps for my gluten allergy! I called ahead to order my food and the guy on the other end of the phone sounded like he was stoned and told me he accidentally canceled my order and asked me to repeat it so I repeated it and gave him my card info again. Then I asked him to read it back to me and he said he couldn't. My mom went to pick it up and the assistant manager called and said that my food wasn't paid for so I had to give them card information again. This store has definitely been updated with fresh staff and new management! The sandwiches come out as they say, freaky fresh and freaky fast. Definitely the most improved, and one of the better sandwich establishments in the area. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a great sub or for some high quality catering to come here. First time I went on a Tuesday night through the drive thru and sat for five minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us. I finally ended up walking in and tell me they are out of bread. Very disappointed more than once. We are (we're) regular customers but we have placed orders only to be told there was no bread. On 2 occasions after placing a delivery order, I have been called to say they have no driver so I will need to pick up the food. Never have they apologized for offering delivery service but not able to deliver. I have never been a customer of Jimmy Johns's however, my son and husband have ordered from there occasionally. Yesterday, my husband ordered 2 unwiches for dinner. Both orders for my husband and son were identical but they requested the addition of bacon and hot peppers. The young woman who took the order over the phone needed clarification 3 times as to what they wanted in the unwich. She was extremely unprofessional and casual with no respect for the customer. It was after 7 when we picked up the order but they did not eat until 9:00. The order was not prepared correctly and dinner was spoiled. Even though it was late, I called them at 9:55 to tell them that the unwiches were not right. The young lady that answered was very polite and offered to replace them. She took our contact information and phone number and told us to return the next day, provide our phone number,and we could pick them up. Today I called them to place the order for the replacement sandwiches, and ordered a third one that we would pay for. The woman that answered the phone told me she was the manager, and that she had no information at all about replacing any order. She accused me of not telling the truth, explained that she needed a receipt, or a ticket. I told her that my husband would have the receipt with him when he came to pick up the order, but that she could also look it up with his credit card that he used the night before. She told me that she would have the order ready, but when he got there, and asked for the order, she told him that the owner said they were not giving out "free sandwiches" , that We would have to pay for three sandwiches,and that he would call us later. Needless to say, my husband told them that he was not going to pay for three sandwiches when it was their mistake in the first place. Jimmy John's here in Cumming is clearly struggling to stay in business. Their customer service is disgraceful and unprofessional. When managers do not have the authority and courtesy to correct mistakes and assure that the customer is happy, business will suffer. I'm sure there are other sandwich shops in Cumming that would appreciate the business. read more

Today they decided to not deliver claiming they are "under new management" and that the distance to our house is suddenly no longer deliverable. I am a regular at Jimmy John's all the way back to my days in Illinois when they got started. This location is very poorly managed. Consistently get the orders wrong and the sandwiches seem to always look like a mess with mayo on the outside of the rolls etc. They tend not to clean the tables either where it almost seems like they expect the customers to take this on. The music also seems to always be extra loud. I hope someone from corporate can help them out as it is nearby me. I can't imagine others are not seeing the same as I go at least 2x per week and doesn't seem to get better. Unfortunately it can give the overall chain a bad image. Ordered online and went to pick it up and was told they were waiting for bread to cool. Waited another 30 minutes and it still wasn't done so I cancelled the order. Got a call from them about ten minutes after I left telling me that my order was ready for pickup. Turns out my order was done when I first got there and because the staff is so inept they didn't realize it. I don't often order Jimmy Johns for delivery because of this reason. Every time I am in the store it's freaky fast. Every time I have ordered for delivery it's 45+ minutes. I am located .5 miles from this store currently and it's taken 45 minutes for a sandwich that takes 45 seconds to make and is max a 5 minutes drive. Very disappointing. read more

I love Jimmy Johns but this is my third experience with them at this location and twice being told - almost like whining - that they were "close to being out of lettuce wraps" and "can I choose something else?" No, if people are asking for a lettuce wrap, 9 times out of 10, it's probably because they have to eat this as their sandwich medium! Once I informed the guy, no, I'm sensitive to bread then he begrudgingly said "ok, I GUESS I'll go make some more". Bro, I just went to the other NICER Jimmy Johns off exit 13 after leaving yours, to prepare more wraps is literally taking a piece off a head of lettuce. Twice this has happened at this location. The first time we said no, and they went and got more lettuce wraps made or whatever. This time I told them to forget it and drove 15 mins out of my way to go to the location off 13. AND as a bonus, if you dine in, the employees make you feel their disdain and loathing of their job alllllll the way through the counter and to your table. This is my other third experience at this place. Just sad. Hopefully the owner reads this and takes this into consideration. I know working retail, especially food retail, blows, but customer service is how you keep customers ... my mind is just blown by the lack of knowing this. read more

Wow... Service and attitude was terrible. I had ordered ($36.00) worth of food... Asked for mayo and lettuce on my kids sandwiches. They told me they could not put anything on the kids sandwiches... These only come with meet and cheese. I thought they were joking. They told me it was corporates decision and that is what I got for coming to a corporate store. I asked for a refund and went to another sub shop (corporate store as well). Got the same order for $10 less and the put anything on my kids sub... They were amazing.
