We had to wait quite a bit to get our order of 2 sandwiches. The 2 people at the counter were chit-chatting the whole time and taking forever. That's still okay, but my sandwich was terrible. I had ordered the chicken bacon ranch with customizations. When i tried the sandwich at home it didnt have half the ingredients. No tomatoes or pickles or mayo or ranch or oil vinegar. Just very dry sandwich with chicken and cheese and some cucumbers. The bread was dry and hard. And none of the sauces were added-neither the ones that come with it anyway, nor the ones that I had specifically added. I have contacted the store more than three times and have contacted Inspire Brands to get a refund but to no avail. I was sent a gift card which did not cover the price of my original order. The store keeps telling me that someone will call me back as does Inspire Brands. It has been over a month. Must not need the business. read more

Well, based on all the most recent 1 star reviews, this one will hardly be shocking. Placed an order for delivery. It never arrived. I called to check in after an hour and they'd taken my address down incorrectly. Okay, it happens. I gave them the correct address and again they didn't show. An hour later I called again. They said they only had one driver and he was behind AND they claimed to once again have taken my address down incorrectly. ... Okay... REALLY? Twice??? But we're starving and they claim they're coming so again we chose to wait. Another hour passes, no delivery. So this time I called and spoke to the manager. Her name is Lauren. It's now been three hours since I placed my order. Let that sink in. THREE HOURS. My card was charged. We called three times. And the manager literally laughed when I explained what happened. This girl could not care less. She had zero F's to give and she let me know it. I felt like I was talking to a petulant fifteen year old at a house party who was chatting with her drunk friends in the background. Let me preface this by saying that I own a retail food business myself. It takes a serious WTH customer service experience for me to write a bad review. Add to that an extra layer of patience for anyone working in a food establishment during COVID-19. I just can't bring myself to give anyone 1 star considering everything going on. But Jimmy John's Forest Lake, I'm making an exception just for you. If your goal is to be the lowest rated poorest excuse for a Jimmy John's in the nation, congratulations--achievement unlocked. Gauging from the other reviews from the last 4 weeks that say the same thing I just have--reviews that the owners of this location have replied to so they're aware that they have a serious culture problem within their team--they're okay with this level of customer service. And since they're okay with it, I don't think you should reward them with your business. They don't appreciate it, they don't value it, and they certainly don't make any attempts to keep it. read more

Definitely not freaky fast or freaky good. Line out the door says it all. The floor on which the workers were standing was covered in trash and bread. Sandwich was not good. The bread was hard. Won't be back to this location. read more

Maybe just watch them make your sub or check that it's correct before you leave. I had been into this location before and they have the quick service I have come to expect at any jimmy johns which is nice. They always seem to have a whole crew of teenagers or younger people new to the work force which is fine. Tonight I ordered a hunters club and when I got home and opened the sub it was ham, salami and pepperoni instead of the roast beef I wanted. I ate it anyways because I didnt feel like driving all the way back and it was actually pretty good. They knocked it out of the park other times I was there. Terrible terrible service!! From the first moment we started to order we got snapped at by the employee because we didn't order to his specifications ( we didn't say "giant" before the number of sandwich we wanted). We then waited and ended up having to bag our own sandwiches so we could get out the door with two children and three sandwiches. Once we got to our vehicle we had noticed that we didn't receive the mustard packets that we had requested while ordering. So my husband went back in to grab some and the woman behind the counter couldn't simply just had him the packets, she had to drop them in his hand from such a distance that they had scattered across the counter. The food here was no different than any other location but the staff was horrible today. I haven't been to this place in forever but JJ's sounded really good today. The kid that took my order barely said two words to me. Stared at me until I told him what I wanted, took my order and then walked away. Then they were blasting some music where every other word was fu$&. They blast music in this place all the time but I don't think that the music that they were blasting was appropriate for a public restaurant. I felt like they didn't care at all about customer service so I think that I could care less if I ever go back to this place. read more

A terrible location. Go to Stewie's or Subway (gross - I know) instead. Waste of money. The sandwiches are super lame and skimpy. The boy ringing me up went straight from touching the cash machine to putting gloves on without washing his hands and made my sandwich. That is a health code violation. - I know because I am a certified health food manager.....not to mention I specifically told him NO tomatoes as I am highly allergic and of course, tomatoes were put on my sub. Stayed at the Country Inn across the parking lot. Ordered 4 sandwiches and asked them to all be cut in half. Zero were cut. Ordered a ham and provolone with mustard packets. Got ham and bread. A turkey with cheese and Deli mustards the mustard was squirt just in the middle 3 inches of the sandwich. The other 2 were fine, which is surprising because they were a little more detailed to make. I called and said I needed cheese, mustard and a knife. I was told that they were wrong because they weren't rung in correctly. Not my problem. (Well, guess it is). Sorry, no plastic knives, and just cheese got brought over so my son ate his sandwich dry. Poor kid. I thought Jimmy Johns couldn't be that bad. In 2 years I've ordered delivery from the Forest Lake Jimmy Johns 4 times and they've gotten the order wrong every single time (wrong food, wrong bread, not removing things that were requested to have been like onions, etc). read more

Been here twice. By far the worst jimmy johns I've ever experienced. Drivers are horrible and rude as hell, food is made poorly, and front counter cashiers make it obvious they don't want to be there. Hard pass on that dirty place next time. I work in FLake. Jimmy Johns sandwiches are almost always delicious. The problem is the service. When ordering we always, whether ordering online or over the phone, we always request the sandwiches to be cut in half and they never are. About half the time we have to call and ask where our order is because it's been an hour and we haven't received it. Every time we talk to a manager and they say the same thing every time, "We tried calling you because the address is wrong and the number you put in is wrong." I have autofill on my phone and computer for both address and number and they are both correct. If we ask to hold the onion or add mayo packets it is always disregarded. Sandwiches delicious, anything outside the bare minimum of service sucks. Go to Stewies or Subway for a much better experience read more

Don't come here unless you want your kids to learn a few new bad words. I don't normally rate places but this was a horable experience! Not only are they expensive over $10 for one sandwich one drink and one cookie. But I didn't want subway so I pay the price. But while consuming my food the employees were dancing around to the extremely loud music. Which is alright have fun at work. But to take pictures of themselves with an excessive amount of money then throw it up in the air is ridiculous. Aside from that the type of music they were playing is not acceptable for a Family restaurant. One of the songs that I shazamed "Monster" By Dj Battle has quite a few foul words in it. One of which F**k,MotherF**ker and some otherwhat would happen if a parent came in with small children and that was playing they seemed as if no one was in the lobby and could care less what was playing on the speakers.
