Jimmy John's is my favorite sub place and for many reasons. First off, the quality of materials used is fresh, the meat is has quality and great taste, and finally their bread is simple amazing! I recommend the BLT or roast beef sandwich on French bread. It comes in different sizes, but if you're a big eater, I recommend going for the giant which is 16 inches long. I usually get it on the French bed with some jalapeño peppers and mayo. The staff at this location was professional and efficient, just like most other chains I've dined at. Usually quiet and empty as most people typically to go their subs. Highly recommend the French bread and BLT though; hope you like it! read more

They will not deliver if more than 5 minutes from store, they will not let anyone else deliver either if it's over 5 minutes from the store. So since I live more than 5 minutes from the store. I won't order anything, nor will I ever stop. I get food from Jersey Mike. The manager at this store is extremely nice, just wish corporate would expand their brain and allow delivery like other sandwich shops. At least do a month trial. read more

This is a great Jimmy Johns, as far as the chain goes. Before you can get the order out, and get your drink your sandwich is ready... Dressed to go, and you are sent out the door with a polite, friendly smile! This location doesn't have a drive through, but the bathrooms are clean and the prices are a bit cheaper than my local Jimmy Johns in NC. I got a combo with extra meat for under $8. read more

I love coming to this location because it's close to my job. The location is always clean and i never have to wait on my food. It appears that there's a lot of younger workers but they are always polite. Someone is always at the register and someone is always cleaning. I've never seen this location a mess. My orders have always been correct and the app makes it so easy to order. I always order the turkey Tom and thinny chips. I always have a zillion additions on it and it always comes out right. Was excited to see and visit my first Jimmy John's drive thru while I ran a quick errand on my lunch break. Until I went through the drive thru. Service was extremely slow!! After they cleared the 2 cars ahead of me, they said it'd be a minute until they'd take my order. I waited and waited and waited and was stuck in the line. Finally ....the took my order. They were out of thinny chips and out of sweetener for tea. Ugh! Received my unwhich and order which was good. However, not even a thank you or have a nice day at the window. Really? I have ordered from there twice; first time took a 2-1/2 hours to get my food. Today, 4 hours later they show up with a disgusting sandwich, bacon was raw, lettuce, tomato and turkey luke warm and the bread was gummy to the touch; needless to say I didn't eat it. I will never order from or visit the Fort Mill location again!!! Told me they were short staffed and only 1 delivery driver........so why the heck are you not calling people back who order online and letting them know that your sandwich that was made at 11:00 a.m. won't show up until 3:30 p.m. Very disappointed and disgusted!!! Upon moving to Charlotte a friend of mine was showing me around the area while we discussed the foods I was so happy to be able to try again. I mentioned how much I liked Jimmy John's and a few other similar chains. She immediately turned to me an and commented that I eat like a college kid. Yes I do! Proudly. I had my first Jimmy John's in Dallas-Ft. Worth. It made it to San Antonio several year's back and immediately became my goto place for a great sub. I'm not sure how many times I came up with an excuse to visit that location, but when I moved to Hawaii, I was was forced into a self-inflicted abstention for 2-years. I did get to eat one sub in DC while on a trip, but it wasn't until I moved to the Steele Creek area and discovering the Ft. Mill location did my love affair with the #5 Vito begin anew. This location is across from Baxter Village off 160. It's not the easiest store to get to, but if you are a lover of fresh bread, no obstacle will get in your way. My first visit here was in November 2016. It was probably at 730. There were several crew members on staff, but very few of them seemed to be interested in my overly-excited presence. I ordered the #5 without much fanfare and asked about their day old bread which they sell (I love their day-old bread. I pick it up to make my own sandwiches, garlic bread, &c. It is just a great addition to any meal and a huge reason I am always thinking about stopping by). They were out for the day. After a few moments my sandwich was complete and we were off. The staff didn't leave much of an impression on me. When I got home and carefully unwrapped the original Italian sub with genoa salami, provolone, capicola, onion, lettuce, tomato & a real tasty Italian vinaigrette: Hot peppers included. It was everything I expected and the taste was simply divine. It took a few weeks, but I headed back once again in January. Like the first time there were several team members mulling around. It just didn't feel like I was in the presence of cohesive well-oil staff. They seemed to be going through the routine, but the excited I've received from other locations has much greater. Like before we got our #5, a Soda, and some chips as well as 3 loaves of day-old bread and departed. The meal was just as great as before. The team is efficient and I have zero complaints about the quality of the product. Our most recent visit was this past Friday. We got our usual and picked up some loaves once again. This time we were there later and they were preparing to dump the day-old bread for the night. For the first time in three visits, the team was smiling a bit more and even offered me some of the bread since it was about to be tossed. That was a nice touch. What can I say. This Jimmy John's is there. I visit and the service can be decent. Nothing beyond that is special aside from the those amazing subs and best day-old bread ever. I'll be back. read more

I've visited this location at least 5 times since it opened. Each time, my order has been made wrong. They always leave something off, or add something I wanted left off. I went yesterday and was surprised to take a bite and hit a giant shard of sharp hard plastic on my teeth and against my cheek. No where near as good as firehouse subs. Environment and food. Walked in and music sounded like we were in a club it was so loud. Cashier kept asking what seemed to be the supervisor to turn it down but he wouldn't listen to her. Finally, after not being able to hear each other speak, my husband asked him to turn it down and received eye roll and a ton of attitude. He did turn it down a notch though, but barely. I ordered a catering job at this location over the phone and prepaid. When I checked my bank statement after the catering was completed and I was charged an extra 15.00. I called the manager who said he'd pull the receipt and saw the 15 written I. He said he'd look into it and get back to me. He said it could take a few weeks to get a refund processed. He has not gotten back to me and it's been a few weeks and I have not had the 15.00 refunded back. I have ordered catering services at other JJ locations with no problems so I'm surprised I'm having this issue. I'd say don't prepay or order by phone. read more

I don't like to waste my time and money on an average sandwich so I never go to most sub shops. I grew up in a neighborhood with an authentic Italian deli where they made great subs. When I spent summers visiting Phili as a kid, my dad took me to the best hoggie shops. I'm biased and I don't eat meat. Another non meat, Mia, works at Jimmy Johns and offered to share a sub with me one day. Well, that did it and I was hooked. Then I discovered freaky fast is all about. I'm usually so busy that I think I don't have time for lunch but then there's Jimmy John's fast. I know that from the time I walk into the shop and walk out it's going to be less than five minutes usually. And they deliver. Enough said. Went tonight 45 minutes before closing. Never had a problem with the employees before. Sometimes a bit over the top but tonight it was they all lacked Brains. 1st the guy in the back was eating next to a girl that was prepping meat.. not only eating but liking sauce out of a tiny copy. He was polite but indifferent and as I'm giving my order he proceeds to pick his nose!!! Okay, blanched.. I watched to see if he makes my food. No goes back to eating and licking.. the girls that make my food are doing an okay job until notice the girl prepping the meat move cleaning supplies with same gloves as she uses to make the food. On top of that she spraying down the counter with my food sitting there.. unwrapped! Okay I know enough to understand that MANY health code violations where committed I can only imagine what the do when customers aren't there!! Jimmy John's food has always been good; however, they refuse to deliver to our house which is 1.8 miles from their store. They will deliver to the High School that is 1.4 miles from their store, but not our sub-division. My son broke his leg and we wanted food delivered. All they would say is "corporate sets our range". Totally agree regarding delivery, totally ridiculous, I'm 2.35 miles from them and they won't deliver to me. Although as I told them in my email, I have seen their delivery car drive past my house. They responded to me but did not address that point. Hey, you don't want my money? You got it. Hope you can stay in business delivering to two houses. Here is their response, which is totally and utterly ridiculous. During rush hour I timed it at 4 min. "I did double check the address below with our team, and unfortunately the address is not close enough to a Jimmy John's to receive delivery. When a store first opens we have our team drive during the busiest parts of the day a 3-5 minute range, rather than mileage to determine our boundaries" Must just be this store, I work in Ballantyne and it takes them 15 min to delivery to our office. If I would ever order from JJ again, which I will not, I would have to complain to that store that I didn't get my food in 5 min. Oh, and regarding their response, so you only deliver during the busiest parts of the day? What about the parts of the day where it would only take 2 min to get to my house? This place is right down the middle. My job orders from them a lot. I want to start by saying that sandwiches are always excellent. I didn't take away any stars due to the food. I took one because twice they forgot something in my order (Drink) and had to go back for it. Once, the girl asked me if it was ok that she didn't have it, AFTER I already paid for it! And I took another star because I feel if the wait is going to be over 20 minutes, they should call or email. They bring on the heat by offering "Freaky fast service" So when they actually deliver freaky slow service they should let you know its gonna be a bit. One of my employees was told by the store manager, Kenny, to never call back or order from there again when she called to inquire about her order.
