    My sandwich....
    Honestly S.

This is a review for the new Jimmy John's located on Lynn Creek, Grand Prairie, TX. I ordered a ham sandwich with the veggies on the side. I also requested that the bread and ham be toasted. Well when I got to work and was ready to eat my sandwich this is what I had wrapped. I was so disappointed. When I shared the photo w/ the manager, he explained the sandwich was toasted at the Company's specifications for orders. Well guess what Sir... if the client is telling you that the bread is over toasted and hardly no meat. Specifications needs to be reviewed. I have read other clients who patronized this Company. It was mentioned the company is stingy with the meat. The manager offered me another sandwich, but I declined. This was my first time patronizing Jimmy's John and mostly likely the last.

Bread was Very dry very selfish on meat portions , 1 drink and two sandwiches & 2 chips $25.00 we were very hungry so we just ate ‍ but we'll never ever come back here again , service was terrible. Place very cold like they are to cheap to have a little heat. Jimmy you are Over rated. Not worth it. Stay make your own.

Normally love jimmy John's but stopped over here day after Thanksgiving for two sandwiches. Road-tripped through the town on our way to pick out a puppy for my son. Great joyous trip was dampened by the bigger white lady working here, I'm not sure if she the store manager. I asked for peppers on the side since my son can't take the peppers spiciness. I asked for extra mayonnaise and one extra side of peppers before we hit the road. This woman's level of stinginess was Grinch level. She said I could only have one since there was "double portion in one" and would be charging for the second. I asked why since I was having two sandwiches. She proceeded to argue with me when I said no other location has ever charged me but happily gave me another with a great service attitude. She went on to say "Well we are a franchise.." WELL ITS NO WONDER YOUR FRANCHISE HAS HORRIBLE REVIEWS. Avoid this one and drive a few minutes extra to avoid grinch like service this Christmas. Sure wish I had more peppers to finish my sandwich in style. Ps: she offered after I said she was sure being stingy. I declined. Keep your peppers, change your service mindset or lose more business $$$

The only thing I would mention is the app does not update you if you use that for ordering whenever your order is complete or ready so you do have to come on inside and see .

The oldest sub shop in Texas is not a title you stumble into, and one visit makes it clear they've earned it. First, the parking situation, because someone has to say it. The spots up front are scarce and competitive. Don't give up, there's additional parking in the back with its own entrance. File that away before you go, or you'll spend ten minutes circling a strip that has not gotten larger since the 1970s. And speaking of the 1970s, the interior leans fully into its vintage identity. Small, dark, and unapologetically retro, it feels like a sub shop that missed the memo on modern restaurant design and decided it didn't care. Honestly, respect. Now, the subs. Galligaskin's cuts their own meat and cheese in house and bakes their rolls fresh daily, which is the kind of thing that sounds like marketing until you take a bite and realize it actually matters. The roast beef and cheese, loaded with toppings, is a proper sandwich. The house-made Galli Oil and pickled pepper finish that goes on every sub is the secret weapon - not spicy, just deeply flavorful, the thing that makes each bite a little better than the last. We also tried the burger, which came as a genuine surprise. A sub shop doing a burger well feels like it shouldn't work, but here we are, soft bun, flavorful patty, no notes. For sides, the Tater Tots are the undisputed champion of the table. Crispy shell, fluffy interior, the ideal tot. The fried okra was a strong runner-up, well breaded and served with ranch. The French fries, however, were a swing and a miss. They looked the part, golden, fresh cut, promising - and then arrived soggy. A limp fry is a tragedy in any zip code, and these were no exception. No one wants a sad potato. Order the tots. Skip the fries. You've been warned. Galligaskin's in the real deal, a Fort Worth original that's still earning its reputation one fresh-baked roll at a time. One last night: they're closed on Sundays, so plan accordingly. A cruel fact to discover in the parking lot.
